脉冲磁约束线形空心阴极放电形成的大面积等离子体片可应用于等离子体天线、隐身及模拟超音速飞行器表面的等离子体鞘套. 本文首次利用实测等离子体片电子密度时空分布和横向场传播矩阵法, 研究了电磁波在等离子体片中反射率、透射率、吸收率随频率及脉冲放电时间的变化特征. 结果表明: 极化方向平行磁场的电磁波, 在小于截止频率的低频带内具有较高的反射率和吸收率, 增大电流, 反射率增加, 吸收率下降, 在大于截止频率的高频带内反射率和吸收率较低, 增大电流, 透射率下降, 吸收率升高; 极化方向垂直磁场的电磁波在高混杂谐振频率附近存在吸收率明显增强的吸收带, 谐振吸收峰值与放电电流无关; 脉冲放电期间, 电磁波的反射率、透射率与吸收率由不稳定过渡到稳定的时间约为100 μs, 过渡时间随着放电电流的增加而增大, 极化方向垂直磁场、小于截止频率的电磁波在稳定放电阶段谐振吸收较强. 本文的研究成果对利用等离子体片实现对电磁波的稳定高反射作用具有重要意义.  相似文献

采用混合矩阵法,分析了磁化分层等离子鞘套对斜入射电磁波传播特性的影响,分别计算了不同入射角以及外加磁场下电磁波透射系数和极化特性的变化。以GPS导航信号右旋圆极化波(RCP)为例,研究了磁场、电子密度对电磁波右旋圆极化特性的影响。结果表明,外加磁场能够使右旋圆极化波在等离子体中的阻带向高频方向移动,此外,外加磁场能在一定程度上改善斜入射是圆极化波的极化特性,有利于GPS信号接收。  相似文献

通过脉冲放电方式产生三维螺旋形的等离子体放电通道,在高速摄像机拍摄下观察到放电通道中的发光电离体以流注形式沿螺旋轨迹快速传播.建立电磁模型解释螺旋放电的形成机制,对造成对称性破缺及影响其手性性质的极向电场进行分析.研究表明,螺旋放电产生的放电通道存在两种不同的手性特征,而脉冲重复频率等放电参数及边界条件对螺旋流注的传播特性存在影响.脉冲电源驱动的电磁场在介质管内所形成的波模是极向电场形成的一个重要来源,当极向电场与轴向电场强度相近时则形成螺旋流注放电.  相似文献

We prove that different modes of nondispersive electromagnetic beams can propagate in a stationary isotropic plasma. Wave propagation in a rarefied two-component plasma immersed in a uniform constant magnetic field has been discussed wherein the plasma pressure is assumed to be anisotropic owing to finite Larmor radius effect. It is shown that, for propagation along the external magnetic field, there exist two modes of wave propagation, namely, the gravitational mode and the hydromagnetic mode. The former is found to be independent of the magnetic field and hence of the Larmor radius, while the latter is appreciably influenced by the finite Larmor radius. On the other hand, for transverse propagation, there are three modes of wave propagation viz. the ion-sound mode, the electron-sound mode and the electromagnetic mode. It is shown that only the lowfrequency ion-sound mode is affected by the finite Larmor radius.  相似文献

为解决再入过程中的黑障问题,在前期磁窗天线增强等离子体透波特性研究基础上,开展了外加电磁窗影响研究,磁体为钕铁硼,外加电压为100 V。利用不同飞行高度下的流场数据,对不加电磁场、外加磁场和外加正交电场与磁场影响下的流场进行数值模拟,对比不同参数设置下天线窗口处的电子密度和电磁波衰减常数,分析了再入飞行器的飞行高度、天线窗位置、电磁波频率、电子密度和碰撞频率等参数对电磁窗天线性能的影响。从分析结果可以看出,外加正交电场与磁场对于减缓再入过程中黑障的效果优于仅外加磁场,通过合理选择电磁窗的工作状态和参数可以改变等离子体的分布特性和介电参数,能够有效地增强电磁波在等离子体鞘套中的传输,为解决和减缓通信中断问题提供了一种可能的途径。  相似文献

We discuss a new phenomenon of the electrodynamics of transient media, the trapping of electromagnetic radiation by the boundary of a transient plasma due to the conversion of the radiation into surface waves localized at the boundary. Calculations are done for an initial plane wave and for a beam of finite width in conditions where the boundary of the suddenly created (because of ionization) plasma half-space is perpendicular to the initial wavefront. Two frequency down-shifted surface waves traveling along the boundary in opposite directions are shown to be excited, as well as frequency up-shifted outgoing radiation and a time-independent mode in the form of a spatially inhomogeneous structure of dc currents and a magnetic field within the plasma half-space. We study the associated kinematic, amplitude, and energy relations. Finally, we establish that the most efficient trapping (up to 40% in energy) can be achieved with the forward (with respect to the direction of the initial wave propagation) surface mode and that the trapping is accompanied by concentration of electromagnetic energy at the plasma boundary. A theory is given describing the propagation of high-frequency electromagnetic waves in a plane-stratified weakly inhomogeneous plasma. The density gradient is supposed to be perpendicular to the external magnetic field and the wave vector is expected not to be generally parallel to the plane given by both the preceding vectors. The analysis points out that the ordinary wave can penetrate through the plasma resonance region if the direction of vacuum wave vector is chosen appropriately. Analytical expressions for the reflecion and transmission coefficients are obtained and their dependence on the direction cosines of the wave vector of the incident is studied. The paper further shows in outline that, after transmission through the plasma resonance, the ordinary wave is transformed into an extraordinary wave and the latter is reflected back to the region of the hybrid resonance. In this region the extraordinary wave is fully transformed into the Bernstein modes.  相似文献

We consider the radiation of low-frequency electromagnetic waves from an axisymmetric current and propagation of these waves in a homogeneous ionospheric plasma with Hall and Pedersen conductivities. We obtain an analytical expressions for the fields excited by pulsed radial and ring currents. It is shown that electromagnetic radiation propagates as a wave inside a cone along the magnetic field. The field propagation outside the cone is described by a diffusion law. The spatio-temporal characteristics of the signal are determined by the ionospheric conductivities.  相似文献

The interaction of a circularly polarized electromagnetic wave with a switched-on magnetoplasma medium is considered. A static magnetic field in the direction of propagation is assumed to be present, resulting in longitudinal propagation. The incident wave splits into three waves whose frequencies are different from that of the incident wave. It is shown that these waves ultimately damp out if the plasma is even slightly lossy. The damping of the waves is interpreted in terms of their attenuation with distance and decay with time as they propagate in the lossy plasma. The attenuation-length and decay-time constants of the waves are obtained, and their dependence on the incident-wave frequency and the gyrofrequency is examined. Optimum parameters for an experiment to detect these waves are suggested  相似文献

本文考察在径向电子数密度呈抛物形分布的情况下,外加稳恒磁场,射频通过螺旋波天线在等离子体中激发电磁波的传播性质.采用线性扰动波假设,数值求解Maxwell方程组,得到80—800 G(1 G=10-4T)磁场条件下等离子体中径向电、磁场强度及能量沉积密度的分布情形.计算结果表明,磁场增大(80→800G)时,螺旋波受到的阻尼较小,可深入等离子体传播;Trivelpiece-Gould(TG)波受到的阻尼增大,在等离子体-真空边界处衰减增强;整体的能量吸收向边界集中.磁感应强度小于100 G时,TG波可深入主等离子体区传播,等离子体径向能量吸收相对均匀.  相似文献

The characteristics of plasma produced by plane polarized m=±1 and m=±2 mode helicon waves were investigated for the first time. Plane polarized m=±1 and m=±2 mode helicon waves were mainly excited using a Nagoya type III antenna and a quadrupole antenna, respectively. Two-dimensional cross-field measurements of ArII optical emission induced by hot electrons were made to investigate the RF power deposition. The components of the wave magnetic field measured with a magnetic probe were compared with the field profiles computed for the m=±1 and m=±2 modes. Two and four high intensity plasma columns were observed for the m=±1 and m=±2modes, respectively. These columns were located at the regions between the antenna legs. The radial profiles of the wave magnetic field were in good agreement with computations  相似文献

We analyze the response of a dipole antenna to the noise-like and/or regular (quasimonochromatic) plasma oscillations and waves. The antenna is immersed in an isotropic plasma moving with velocity greater than the electron thermal velocity. In the case of a noise field, we calculate the squared spectral power density of the noise voltage at the input of a receiving antenna for frequencies close to the electron plasma frequency. It is shown that the main contribution to the noise is made by the radiation due to the excitation of waves at anomalous Doppler frequencies. In the case of an incident monochromatic wave, the mean square voltage at the antenna input is calculated as a function of the wave frequency and angle of arrival. It is shown that the effective antenna length can differ strongly from the geometrical length of the dipole. This fact results from the dispersion of longitudinal waves ensuring that many plane waves (a continuum, in the limiting case) contribute to the re-radiated field for a given direction of propagation of the radiation energy.  相似文献

 在分析了等离子体辐射微波的电流波形和喇叭天线接收到的微波信号波形的基础上,对脉冲等离子体辐射微波的机理进行了理论分析:阴阳极间存在TEM和TM两种模式的波;流经等离子体的电流产生的磁场使等离子体中的波成为慢波;高频场的激励因素有两个,一是作加速运动的电子,二是阳极斑点溅射时阳极电位突降;同一时刻具有不同速度的电子将能量转换给相应相速的波是其产生超宽带辐射的原因。  相似文献

The radiation properties of 2 X 2 element planar array of equilateral triangular patch microstrip antenna in plasma medium are studied. The array factor and far-zone EM-mode and P-mode radiation fields of the array geometry are derived using vector wave function techniques and pattern multiplication approaches. The total field patterns and various characteristics of pattern such as half power beam width (HPBW), first null beam width (FNBW) and direction of maximum radiation are computed for two different values of progressive phase excitation difference between the elements. The results of this array geometry are obtained both in plasma medium and in free space and compared with those of single element equilateral triangular patch microstrip antenna.  相似文献

当前国内学者对等离子体天线的研究主要集中于柱状天线和反射面天线, 而在国外已有学者以等离子体阵列结构设计了功能多样的智能天线系统. 为了较系统地了解这一新的设计思路, 基于等离子体散射理论对中心单元激励的圆形定向天线阵进行了理论和实验研究. 设计了一个16元等离子体无源振子的圆形天线阵, 实现了天线电磁波单波束和多波束的定向辐射. 通过理论计算和分析, 阐述了天线电磁波单波束和多波束辐射的原理. 通过建立实验系统, 测试了圆形天线阵的定向辐射特性. 实验结果和理论值接近, 说明该等离子体圆形天线阵可以实现天线电磁波的定向辐射和多波束辐射. 另外, 该天线阵还具有快速切换辐射方向、参数快速重构、雷达隐身性良好的优点. 关键词: 等离子体 定向天线阵 单波束 多波束  相似文献

The polarization characteristics of oblique incidence electromagnetic waves in magnetized cold plasma layer are studied using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method based on the trapezoidal recursive convolution (TRC) technology. The TRC-FDTD formulations are derived in detail and are confirmed by computing the reflection and transmission coefficients for the elliptically polarized wave through a magnetized cold plasma slab with arbitrary magnetic direction. Particularly, when the propagation direction of the EM wave is parallel to the magnetic direction, the right-circular-polarized and left-circular-polarized wave should be considered. When the propagation direction of the EM wave is perpendicular to the magnetic direction, the ordinary polarized wave and extraordinary polarized wave should be considered.  相似文献

Plane wave propagation in chiral plasma and chiral ferrite media is studied in kDB coordinate system. General wave equations and characteristic equations of plane waves propagating along an arbitrary direction in chiral plasma and in chiral ferrites are derived in simple formulations respectively. Four wavenumbers and their corresponding dispersion characteristics are resulted for propagation both along and normal to the biasing magnetic field. When plane wave with negative helicity propagates along the biasing magnetic field in chiral ferrites, backward waves emerge. However backward waves occur with both positive and negative helicities when propagating along the biasing magnetic field in chiral plasma.  相似文献

为优化表面波放电的狭缝天线阵设计,给表面波放电装置的设计提供理论依据,对狭缝天线布局进行了理论和仿真计算分析。结果表明,宽缝辐射的电磁场比纵缝强,同相激励天线辐射的电磁场比异相激励强,更容易击穿空气产生等离子体。基于磁场强度同相分布规律对已经采用的纵缝天线阵进行改进,纵缝按照两侧交互并间隔半个波导波长布置,各个纵缝均为同相,产生等离子体效果更好。  相似文献
