We discuss the randomly driven systemdx/dt= -W(x) +f(t), wheref(t) is a Gaussian random function or stirring force withf(t)f(t)=2(t–t), andW(x) is of the formgx 1+2. The parameter is a measure of the nonlinearity of the equation. We show how to obtain the correlation functionsx(t)f(t)···x(t( n)) f as a power series in. We obtain three terms in the expansion and show how to use Padé approximants to analytically continue the answer in the variable. Boc-resin-bound -hydroxy--amino-aldehydes are accessible starting from N-terminally bound amino acidesters by using Dondoni's C1-homologationreaction sequence. The conversion of these synthons totwo different peptide mimetics – 2-hydroxy-1,3-ethyl-diamines and -hydroxy--amino-vinyl sulfones – hasbeen investigated. We rigorously derive a linear kinetic equation of Fokker–Planck type for a 2-D Lorentz gas in which the obstacles are randomly distributed. Each obstacle of the Lorentz gas generates a potential V( ), where V is a smooth radially symmetric function with compact support, and >0. The density of obstacles diverges as , where >0. We prove that when 0< <1/8 and =2+1, the probability density of a test particle converges as 0 to a solution of our kinetic equation.  相似文献

It is well known that in the non-depleted pump approximation, the efficiency of a second harmonic generation (SHG) of a guided mode in a non-linear optical waveguide increases quadratically with the interaction length (P 2 L 2), and linearly (P 2 L) in the erenkov regime. The efficiency of the erenkov SHG in the waveguide with a non-linear substrate and linear guiding layer is known to be strongly peaked at a particular pump wavelength and a particular waveguide thickness, with the erenkov angle approaching zero. The known theory predicts an infinite efficiency value at the peak, however. In this contribution, a simple integral expression for the SHG efficiency in the erenkov regime is derived. For large erenkov angles and interaction lengths it yields the expected P 2 L dependence, while in the limit of small erenkov angles the dependence is found to have the form of P L 3/2, possessing also a finite value at the efficiency peak. The condition determining the accurate position of the efficiency peak in the waveguide thickness–pump wavelength plane is given, too.  相似文献

In order to indentity the corrosion products formed on steel surfaces from 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy, detailed Mössbauer parameters have been determined for various kinds of iron-oxyhydroxides: -FeOOH, -FeOOH, -FeOOH and -FeOOH. 57Fe Mössbauer measurements of the iron oxyhydroxides indicate the following results. Fe occupies a single site in -FeOOH, but below the Néel temperature as at e.g., 300 K the Mössbauer spectrum is always broad, showing a distribution of the strength of the magnetic exchange interactions. Its shape depends on the grain-size and synthetic methods of the specimen. Fe occupies 3 sites in -FeOOH. High-purity reagents of -FeOOH always contain small amounts of -FeOOH and their Néel temperatures depend on the synthetic methods of the specimen. Mössbauer spectroscopy of the synthetic -FeOOH shows very broad distribution of the hyperfine magnetic fields.  相似文献

Quasi-phase-matched second-harmonic generation at periodic quadratic susceptibility gratings with self-phase and cross-phase modulation owing to Kerr nonlinearities is investigated. A model of interaction of monochromatic plane travelling waves is considered. The solution assumes a nondepleted pump and results for a numerical computation of second-harmonic conversion efficiency for a highly efficient process are presented. It is shown that for high spatial-frequency gratings the efficiency of second-harmonic generation depends on the reduced detuning and the Kerr-nonlinearity coefficient only. In some cases, if the signs of and are opposite, the Kerr nonlinearity can enhance the second-harmonic conversion efficiency due to the compensation of the phase mismatch attained in the below-half-conversion stage by the reversed phase mismatch in the above-half-conversion stage of the process. The computed maximum conversion efficiencies for various values of and are plotted in a contour map on the - plane.  相似文献

A theory of the radiation emitted by a charged particle moving in a randomly inhomogeneous correlated medium is constructed. It is shown that the radiation is isotropic and unpolarized. An optoelectronic switch with both n- and p-type delta-doped (-doped) quantum wells was investigated. The -doped structures formed potential wells for the carrier accumulation and potential barriers for the carrier injection. Being possessed of -doped sheets with different doping levels, the potential barriers were sequentially collapsed to produce a double negative-differential-resistance (NDR) phenomenon in the current–voltage (IV) characteristics of the device, due to the carrier accumulation in the potential wells. The device also showed an optical function related to the barrier heights controllable by incident light.  相似文献

The probability of the decay of a bound -meson is calculated using the theory of weak interactions with an intermediate boson. It is found that this theory, like all the others, cannot explain the experimental maximum atZ=26.

Zusammenfassung In dieser Arbeit werden die Erscheinungen der normalen und anomalen, durch Infrarotstrahlung verursachten und von uns schon früher an diesen Photokatoden beobachteten Ermüdung von Silber-Cäsium-Photokathoden untersucht. Diese Erscheinungen wurden an durchsichtigen sowie undurchsichtigen, durch verschiedene Technologien zubereiteten Photokathoden festgestellt. Es wurden Messungen der Strahlungsintensitäts-, Temperatur- und Spektralverteilungsabhängigkeit der normalen und anomalen Ermüdung durchgeführt. Es werden die Ursachen der Unübereinstimmigkeit im Vergleich mit Arbeiten von De Boer und Teves besprochen. Ferner wurden die Zeitverläufe der Ermüdung bei der Abwechslung der Bestrahlungs- und Dunkelzyklen studiert.

We investigate the band-gap structure of some second-order differential operators associated with the propagation of waves in periodic two-component media. Particularly, the operator associated with the Maxwell equations with position-dependent dielectric constant (x),xR 3, is considered. The medium is assumed to consist of two components: the background, where (x) = b , and the embedded component composed of periodically positioned disjoint cubes, where (x) = a . We show that the spectrum of the relevant operator has gaps provided some reasonable conditions are imposed on the parameters of the medium. Particularly, we show that one can open up at least one gap in the spectrum at any preassigned point provided that the size of cubesL, the distancel=L betwen them, and the contrast = b / a are chosen in such a way thatL –2, and quantities -1-3/2 and 2 are small enough. If these conditions are satisfied, the spectrum is located in a vicinity of widthw(3/2)-1 of the set {2 L -2 k 2:kZ3}. This means, in particular, that any finite number of gaps between the elements of this discrete set can be opened simultaneously, and the corresponding bands of the spectrum can be made arbitrarily narrow. The method developed shows that if the embedded component consists of periodically positioned balls or other domains which cannot pack the space without overlapping, one should expect pseudogaps rather than real gaps in the spectrum.  相似文献

It is shown how one may thereby have 1/f noise with low-frequency turnover, and also strict 1/f 1– noise (the latter spectrum being integrable for > 0). Suitable examples are given. Pseudopotential theory is used to study the dependence of energy of vacancy formation EIV f in binary replacement alloys as a function of the degree of far order is shown that E IV f =Eo+E·]2, where Eo is the energy of vacancy formation in a disordered alloy, E then contains the ordering energy. It is shown with examples of the alloys CuZn, AuZn, and AgCd that the energy of vacancy formation can decrease with increase in the degree of far order. The damping of particle oscillations in a general field with periodic structure I
A liner theory is derived, discussing the dynamics of particles in the region of an equilibrium orbit in a general electromagnetic field, which forms a periodic system. The total particle damping is determined from the Hamiltonian found and from dissipative forces brought out by a classical reaction radiation. Relations for the damping of the synchrotron oscillations are derived from the study of the appropriate phase space.
