研究了倒Y型四能级原子系统中相干控制电磁诱导透明.应用微扰理论给出一阶近似条件下,不同控制场原子系统对探测光场响应的解析式及电磁诱导透明窗宽度的解析式.在探测场为弱场时,分析了系统中控制光场强度、耦合光场强度及其失谐量对电磁诱导透明窗的影响.研究发现电磁诱导透明窗随控制光场强度的增强变宽,而随耦合光场强度的增强变窄,当探测光场与耦合光场偏离双光子共振时,透明窗外的吸收增加,透明窗变宽.在弱探测场、弱控制场条件下,分析了初始时刻原子处在相干叠加态时的相对相位、相对强度与探测场和控制场的相对相位等对系统吸收特性及透明窗的影响.结果表明探测场与控制场的相对相位对吸收的影响与相干叠加态中两能级之间几率幅的相对相位对吸收的影响作用相反,系统在两下能级干涉极大时,存在一个很宽的透明带.应用缀饰态理论和量子相干理论对所得结果进行了解释.  相似文献

在Y形四能级原子系统中,分析了自发产生相干对探测场的色散和吸收影响. 结果发现,随着自发产生相干的增强,系统呈现的电磁感应透明窗口逐渐变窄,并在共振处出现反常色散,吸收从负值变为正值. 同时,当抽运场和耦合场的相对强度不同时,共振处附近吸收为零或出现增益,而两场强相等或接近时,系统对探测场表现为吸收. 关键词: 非线性光学 电磁感应透明 自发产生相干  相似文献

利用电磁感应透明技术,在一维光晶格中相干驱动四能级Lambda模型冷原子系统,从而实现动力学可调谐电磁感应光子带隙结构。基于两邻近能级间的自发辐射相干(SGC)效应,通过控制耦合场从远共振到共振,使该原子系统实现从两个光子带隙转变为三个光子带隙的动态过程。当自发辐射相干效应不存在时,在探测场共振区域处探测光子被原子系统强烈吸收,因此感应光子带隙严重形变甚至无法形成。通过数值计算证明光子带隙结构的形成源自于自发辐射相干效应下探测场和耦合场之间的三阶交叉克尔(Kerr)非线性调制,并且通过控制耦合场的耦合方式,可以实现系统从两个光子带隙到三个光子带隙的动力学调控。  相似文献

提出了一个由两个弱探测场和两个强耦合场驱动的四能级双V型原子系统, 研究发现在四波混频共振条件下, 两探测场均可被放大而无须粒子数反转. 值得注意的是, 由于所选择的激发态为超精细结构的两个近能级, 这里必须考虑自发辐射相干效应的影响. 与不考虑自发辐射相干相比, 同样参数条件下探测场的增益得到大幅度提高.而且, 探测场增益对相位非常敏感, 即增益-吸收线型受相位周期性调制, 同时也受两个偶极矩之间夹角θ制约. 此外还分析了相干抽运场 (强耦合场)的失谐对增益谱线产生的影响. 关键词: 无粒子数反转激光 四波混频 自发辐射相干  相似文献

运用密度矩阵理论,研究了在外加相干耦合场作用下∧型四能级系统的吸收和色散特性。数值模拟表明:通过调节外加相干场的拉比频率强度,该系统可以单重、双重电磁诱导光透明现象,并在缀饰态表象中给出了定性解释。在双重电磁诱导透明现象中,透明窗的位置和吸收峰值可以通过调节外加相干场的失谐量来进行控制,而且透明点的位置可以连续变化。每个透明窗口在吸收最低时都伴随着高折射率,因此可以在此介质中实现超光速传播。  相似文献

利用电磁感应透明技术,在一维光晶格中相干驱动四能级N模型冷原子,实现动力学可调谐电磁感应光子带隙结构.在该原子系统中,光晶格中的原子密度呈高斯分布,使整个介质的密度在空间上呈周期性分布,导致探测场的折射率被空间调制,从而产生带隙结构.理论计算表明:基于两强耦合场的双暗态共振作用,探测场的吸收谱出现两个透明窗口;当满足Bragg条件时,探测场的三个不同频率区域内光子态密度减小,形成光子带隙结构.另外,改变两个耦合场的强度和失谐可以有效地调控光子带隙的宽度和位置.  相似文献

研究了一束低强度探测脉冲光场在一个非对称半导体量子阱中的传输特性.在相同参数条件下,通过由自发辐射相干产生的交叉耦合系数来调控介质对探测场吸收、色散的变化规律.结果表明:从自发辐射相干的引入到达到相干最大,介质的吸收不断减小,同时强色散也随之进入透明窗口.  相似文献

The coherent-mode representation (CMR) of an optical random source is a very powerful tool in contemporary optics. However, the practical value of the CMR is essentially restricted because of the complexity of solving the Fredholm integral equation with the source cross-spectral density as a kernel. Moreover, in practice, the analytical expression for the cross-spectral density of the source, as a rule, is unknown, a fact that makes this solution impossible in general. Here we propose a technique for the determination of the source CMR that does not involve solving the Fredholm integral equation but is based on usual radiometric measurements. We illustrate the proposed technique with the results of mathematical simulation.  相似文献

The amplitudes and the phases of the elements of electric cross-spectral density matrix are determined experimentally for a pair of points in the cross-section of an expanded laser beam. A modified version of the Young’s interferometer is used as an experimental tool, which separates the beams emerging from the double-slit widely and provides ease in insertion of polarizers and half wave rotators in individual beams. To determine these complex elements of the cross-spectral density matrix, the experimentally obtained values of the spectral densities at an off-axis point are put in the mathematical expressions derived by us using the spectral interference law. The four complex generalized Stokes parameters are also determined using the linear combinations of the matrix elements. This unique but simple experimental approach for determining both the two-point parameters might provide a means to investigate the polarization and the coherence properties of the random electromagnetic beams on propagation.  相似文献

The first direct measurement of the mutual coherence function of a spatially incoherent infrared beam was performed at 10.6 μm using a pair of infrared dipole nano-wire antennas that were connected to a common bolometer in the center of the pair by short lengths of coplanar strip transmission line. A spatially incoherent source was constructed by dithering a BaF2 diffuser near the focus of a CO2 laser beam. The distance from the diffuser to the nano-wire antenna pair was held constant while the distance from the focus of the laser beam to the diffuser was varied to control the effective diameter of the source. The measured bolometer signal was proportional to the magnitude of the mutual coherence function at the plane of the antennas. The experimental results were found to match the predicted performance closely. If this technology can be extended to large arrays, a form of synthetic aperture optical imaging based on the Van Cittert-Zernike theorem is possible, similar to that performed at microwave frequencies now by astronomers. This has the potential to greatly increase the angular resolution attainable with optical instruments.  相似文献

Coherence between two vectorial harmonic light vibrations is analyzed in terms of the statistics of their phase difference. This provides a natural and simple extension of second-order coherence to cover more complicate situations. In particular this assigns large coherence to quantum light states providing the most accurate interferometric measurements allowed by the quantum theory, even if they are incoherent according to the standard second-order approach.  相似文献

Decomposition throughout all space of a typical light beam into the sum of a completely polarized and a completely unpolarized beam (Stokes decomposition) seems to be rather the exception than the rule. However, it is known that such decomposition can often be made across a certain plane, although it may lose validity upon propagation. Then, one may guess that, for any light beam, there exists at least one plane where the Stokes decomposition can be performed. Without adopting any particular model for polarized and unpolarized beams, we present a class of beams for which no such plane can exist.  相似文献

The general formula for multiple-beam interference due to regular slit arrays illuminated with partially coherent quasi-monochromatic light is derived. The correlation functions chosen for partially coherent light assume Gaussian, sinc and besinc forms of correlation. The intensity distribution in the interference patterns is presented and discussed as a function of the spatial coherence condition. It is shown that spatial coherence of the illumination largely affects the features of multiple-beam interference patterns.  相似文献

For a fixed 2-f reference path, we demonstrate both theoretically and experimentally that based on the spatial correlation between two light fields, ghost imaging in spatial domain (GI) and Fourier-transform ghost interference (FRT) can be obtained by only increasing the transverse size of the thermal source D. Both explanation of the transformation from GI to FRT and their potential applications are also discussed.  相似文献

A method, which is based on the correlation measurement of intensity fluctuations in time-space-average domain, is invented to improve the visibility of ghost images obtained by thermal light. We demonstrate that the visibility of ghost images can be significantly enhanced using this method. A corresponding evaluation standard of the visibility of images and effects influencing the visibility of ghost images, such as the weight factor γ and speckle frame numbers, are also discussed.  相似文献
