We search for isotropic stochastic gravitational-wave background (SGWB) in the International Pulsar Timing Array second data release. By modeling the SGWB as a power-law, we find very strong Bayesian evidence for a common-spectrum process, and further this process has scalar transverse (ST) correlations allowed in general metric theory of gravity as the Bayes factor in favor of the ST-correlated process versus the spatially uncorrelated common-spectrum process is 30 ± 2. The median and the 90% equal-tail amplitudes of ST mode are ${{ \mathcal A }}_{\mathrm{ST}}={1.29}_{-0.44}^{+0.51}\times {10}^{-15}$, or equivalently the energy density parameter per logarithm frequency is ${{\rm{\Omega }}}_{\mathrm{GW}}^{\mathrm{ST}}={2.31}_{-1.30}^{+2.19}\times {10}^{-9}$, at frequency of 1 year−1. However, we do not find any statistically significant evidence for the tensor transverse (TT) mode and then place the 95% upper limits as ${{ \mathcal A }}_{\mathrm{TT}}\lt 3.95\times {10}^{-15}$, or equivalently ${{\rm{\Omega }}}_{\mathrm{GW}}^{\mathrm{TT}}\lt 2.16\times {10}^{-9}$, at frequency of 1 year−1.  相似文献

Femtosecond (fs) laser pulses at variable delay times allowed us to track the fast non-radiative transitions between the manifold of highly excited $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}}^{**}$ states to the lower lying fluorescent $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}}^{*}$ state in CaF2. Two distinct $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}}^{**}$ states of the manifold at 3.16?eV ( $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}2}^{**}$ ) and 4.73?eV ( $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}3}^{**}$ ) were populated using the second (SH) and third harmonics (TH) of fs laser light at 785?nm. The population kinetics of the fluorescent $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}}^{*}$ state in the 2?eV excitation energy range was revealed by depleting its fluorescence centered at 740?nm using fundamental near infrared (NIR) fs laser pulses. The related time constants for $\mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}2,3}^{**}{\sim}{>} \mathrm{M}_{\mathrm{Na}}^{*}$ relaxation amounted to 1.0±0.14?ps and 3.0±0.3?ps upon SH and TH excitation, respectively.  相似文献

Upper limits on the cross-section of the pair-production process , assuming 100 branching fraction to hadrons, are derived from a new search for the hadrons final state, independently of the hadronic flavour of the decay products. This study, combined with previously published searches for the neutral Higgs bosons h0 and A0, is used to constrain the Type II Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM(II)) with no CP violation in the Higgs sector and no additional non-Standard Model particles besides the five Higgs bosons. The analysis combines LEP1 and LEP2 data collected with the OPAL detector up to the highest available centre-of-mass energies. The searches are sensitive to the and decay modes of the Higgs bosons. A benchmark scan of the 2HDM(II) parameter space is performed. Large regions of the 2HDM(II) parameter space explored are excluded at the 95% CL in the ( and planes, using both direct neutral Higgs boson searches and indirect limits derived from Standard Model high precision measurements. The antiferromagnetic (AFM) interlayer coupling effective field in a ferromagnetic/non-magnetic/ferromagnetic (FM/NM/FM) sandwich structure, as a driving force, can dramatically enhance the ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) frequency. Changing the non-magnetic spacer thickness is an effective way to control the interlayer coupling type and intensity, as well as the FMR frequency. In this study, FeCoB/Ru/FeCoB sandwich trilayers with Ru thickness ($t_{\rm Ru}$) ranging from 1 Å to 16 Å are prepared by a compositional gradient sputtering (CGS) method. It is revealed that a stress-induced anisotropy is present in the FeCoB films due to the B composition gradient in the samples. A $t_{\mathrm{Ru}}$-dependent oscillation of interlayer coupling from FM to AFM with two periods is observed. An AFM coupling occurs in a range of $2 {\rm Å} \le t_{\rm Ru} \le 8 {\rm Å}$ and over 16 $\mathrm{Å}$, while an FM coupling is present in a range of $t_{\rm Ru}< 2$ Å and $9 {\rm Å} \le t_{\rm Ru} \le 14.5 Å$. It is interesting that an ultrahigh optical mode (OM) FMR frequency in excess of 20 GHz is obtained in the sample with ${t}_{\mathrm{Ru}}= 2.5 \mathrm{Å}$ under an AFM coupling. The dynamic coupling mechanism in trilayers is simulated, and the corresponding coupling types at different values of $t_{\mathrm{Ru}}$ are verified by Layadi's rigid model. This study provides a controllable way to prepare and investigate the ultrahigh FMR films.  相似文献

Data collected at LEP at centre-of-mass energies GeV are used to study correlations of the spin of W bosons using events. Spin correlations are favoured by data, and found to agree with the Standard Model predictions. In addition, correlations between the W-boson decay planes are studied in and events. We present empirical relations that connect the dimensionless ratios of low energy fermion masses for the charged lepton, up-type quark and down-type quark sectors and the CKM elements: and . Explaining these relations from first principles imposes strong constraints on the search for the theory of flavor. We present a simple set of normalized Yukawa matrices, with only two real parameters and one complex phase, which accounts with precision for these mass relations and for the CKM matrix elements and also suggests a simpler parametrization of the CKM matrix. The proposed Yukawa matrices accommodate the measured CP-violation, giving a particular relation between standard model CP-violating phases, . According to this relation the measured value of is close to the maximum value that can be reached, for . Searching for the top squark(stop)is a key task to test the naturalness of SUSY.Different from stop pair production,single stop production relies on its electroweak properties and can provide some unique signatures.Following the single production process pp→t~1X(~)1→tX~10X~1-,the top quark has two decay channels:leptonic channel and hadronic channel.In this paper,we probe the observability of these two channels in a simplified minimal supersymmetric standard model scenario.We find that,at the 27 TeV LHC with the integrated luminosity of L=15 ab-1,mt-1<1900 GeV andμ<750 GeV can be excluded at 2σthrough the leptonic mono-top channel,while mt-1<1200 GeV andμ<350 GeV can be excluded at 2σthrough the hadronic channel.  相似文献

The tau lepton lifetime has been measured with the events collected by the DELPHI detector at LEP in the years 1991-1995. The temperature dependences of magnetic entropy change and refrigerant capacity have been calculated for a maximum field change of Δ H=30 kOe in as-quenched ribbons of the ferromagnetic shape memory alloy Ni50.4Mn34.9In14.7 around the structural reverse martensitic transformation and magnetic transition of austenite. The ribbons crystallize into a single-phase austenite with the L21-type crystal structure and Curie point of 284 K. At 262 K austenite starts its transformation into a 10-layered structurally modulated monoclinic martensite. The first- and second-order character of the structural and magnetic transitions was confirmed by the Arrott plot method. Despite the superior absolute value of the maximum magnetic entropy change obtained in the temperature interval where the reverse martensitic transformation occurs (|\varDelta SMmax|=7.2 J kg-1 K-1)(|\varDelta S_{\mathrm{M}}^{\max}|=7.2\mbox{ J}\,\mbox{kg}^{-1}\,\mbox{K}^{-1}) with respect to that obtained around the ferromagnetic transition of austenite (|\varDelta SMmax|=2.6 J kg-1 K-1)(|\varDelta S_{\mathrm{M}}^{\max}|=2.6\mbox{ J}\,\mbox{kg}^{-1}\,\mbox{K}^{-1}), the large average hysteretic losses due to the effect of the magnetic field on the phase transformation as well as the narrow thermal dependence of the magnetic entropy change make the temperature interval around the ferromagnetic transition of austenite of a higher effective refrigerant capacity (RCmagneff=95J kg-1\mathrm{RC}^{\mathrm{magn}}_{\mathrm{eff}}=95\mbox{J}\,\mbox{kg}^{-1} versus RCstructeff=60J kg-1)\mathrm{RC}^{\mathrm{struct}}_{\mathrm{eff}}=60\mbox{J}\,\mbox{kg}^{-1}).  相似文献

Co-Al-W基高温合金具有类似于Ni基高温合金的γ+γ'相组织结构.根据面心立方固溶体的团簇加连接原子结构模型,Ni基高温合金的成分式即最稳定的化学近程序结构单元可以描述为第一近邻配位多面体团簇加上次近邻的三个连接原子.本文应用类似方法,首次给出了Co-Al-W基高温合金的团簇成分式.利用原子半径和团簇共振模型,可计算出Co-Al-W三元合金的团簇成分通式,为[Al-Co_(12)](Co,Al,W)_3,即以Al为中心原子、Co为壳层原子的[Al-Co_(12)]团簇加上三个连接原子.对于多元合金,需要先将元素进行分类:溶剂元素——类Co元素Co (Co, Cr, Fe, Re, Ni,Ir,Ru)和溶质元素——类Al元素Al (Al,W,Mo, Ta,Ti,Nb,V等);进而根据合金元素的配分行为,将类Co元素分为Co~γ(Cr, Fe, Re)和Co~(γ')(Ni, Ir, Ru);根据混合焓,将类Al元素分为Al, W (W, Mo)和Ta (Ta, Ti, Nb, V等).由此,任何多元Co-Al-W基高温合金均可简化为Co-Al伪二元体系或者Co-Al-(W,Ta)伪三元体系,其团簇加连接原子成分式为[Al-Co_(12)](Co_(1.0)Al_(2.0))(或[Al-Co_(12)] Co_(1.0)Al_(0.5)(W,Ta)_(1.5)=Co_(81.250)Al_(9.375)(W,Ta)_(9.375) at.%).其中,γ与γ'相的团簇成分式分别为[Al-Co_(12)](Co_(1.5)Al_(1.5))(或[Al-Co_(12)] Co_(1.5)Al_(0.5)(W,Ta)_(1.0)=Co_(84.375)Al_(9.375)(W,Ta)_(6.250) at.%)和[Al-Co_(12)](Co_(0.5)Al_(2.5))(或[Al-Co_(12)] Co_(0.5)Al_(0.5)(W, Ta)_(2.0)=Co_(78.125)Al_(9.375)(W,Ta)_(12.500)at.%).例如,Co_(82)Al_9W_9合金的团簇成分式为[Al-Co_(12)]Co_(1.1)Al_(0.4)W_(1.4)(~[Al-Co_(12)]Co_(1.0)Al_(0.5)W_(1.5)),其中γ相的团簇成分式为[Al-Co_(12)]Co_(1.6)Al_(0.4)W_(1.0)(~[Al-Co_(12)]Co_(1.5)Al_(0.5)W_(1.0)),γ'相的团簇成分式为[Al-Co_(12)]Co_(0.3)Al_(0.5)W_(2.2)(~[AlCo_(12)]Co_(0.5)Al_(0.5)W_(2.0)).  相似文献

The decay chain is identified in a sample of 3.9 million hadronic Z decays collected with the OPAL detector at LEP. The branching ratio BR is measured to be for the J P =1+ (D0 1) state. We calculate the (parity-violating) spin-rotation angle of a polarized neutron beam through hydrogen and deuterium targets, using pionless effective field theory up to next-to-leading order. Our result is part of a program to obtain the five leading independent low-energy parameters that characterize hadronic parity violation from few-body observables in one systematic and consistent framework. The two spin-rotation angles provide independent constraints on these parameters. Using naıve dimensional analysis to estimate the typical size of the couplings, we expect the signal for standard target densities to be $\left| {\frac{{d\varphi _{PV} }} {{dl}}} \right| \approx \left[ {10^{ - 7} \ldots 10^{ - 6} } \right]\frac{{rad}} {m}$\left| {\frac{{d\varphi _{PV} }} {{dl}}} \right| \approx \left[ {10^{ - 7} \ldots 10^{ - 6} } \right]\frac{{rad}} {m} for both hydrogen and deuterium targets. We find no indication that the nd observable is enhanced compared to the np one. All results are properly renormalized. An estimate of the numerical and systematic uncertainties of our calculations indicates excellent convergence. Using the helicity formalism, we calculate the combined angular distribution functions of the polarized gamma photons and electron in the triple cascade process $\bar{\mathrm{p}}\mathrm{p}\to{}^{3}\mathrm{D}_{\mathrm{2}}\to\chi_{\mathrm{\mathrm{{J}}}}+\gamma_{\mathrm{1}}\to(\psi +\gamma_{\mathrm{2}})+\gamma_{\mathrm{1}}\to(\mathrm{e}^{+}+\mathrm{e}^{-})+\gamma_{\mathrm{1}}+\gamma_{\mathrm{2}}\ (\mathrm{{J}}=0,1,2)$ , when $\bar{\mathrm{p}}$ and p are unpolarized. We also present the partially integrated angular distribution functions in different cases. Our results show that by measuring the two-particle angular distribution of γ 1 and γ 2 and that of γ 2 and e? with the polarization of either one of the two particles, one can determine the relative magnitudes as well as the relative phases of all the helicity amplitudes in the two radiative decay processes 3D2χ J+γ 1 and χ Jψ+γ 2.  相似文献

In this article, we study the Λ c and Λ b baryons in the nuclear matter using the QCD sum rules, and obtain the in-medium masses M\varLambda c*=2.335 GeVM_{\varLambda _{c}}^{*}=2.335~\mathrm{GeV}, M\varLambda b*=5.678 GeVM_{\varLambda _{b}}^{*}=5.678~\mathrm{GeV}, the in-medium vector self-energies \varSigma \varLambda cv=34 MeV\varSigma ^{\varLambda _{c}}_{v}=34~\mathrm{MeV}, \varSigma \varLambda bv=32 MeV\varSigma ^{\varLambda _{b}}_{v}=32~\mathrm {MeV}, and the in-medium pole residues l\varLambda c*=0.021 GeV3\lambda_{\varLambda _{c}}^{*}=0.021~\mathrm{GeV}^{3}, l\varLambda b*=0.026 GeV3\lambda_{\varLambda _{b}}^{*}=0.026~\mathrm{GeV}^{3}. The mass-shifts are M\varLambda c*-M\varLambda c=51 MeVM_{\varLambda _{c}}^{*}-M_{\varLambda _{c}}=51~\mathrm{MeV} and M\varLambda b*-M\varLambda b=60 MeVM_{\varLambda _{b}}^{*}-M_{\varLambda _{b}}=60~\mathrm{MeV}, respectively.  相似文献

在实验的基础上, 基于RNG k-ε模型对常压下气体中心式同轴离心(gas-centered swirl coaxial,GCSC)喷嘴喷雾形态和破碎模式进行了三维仿真研究。采用网格自适应加密(adaptive mesh refinement,AMR)技术、耦合水平集和流体体积(coupled level-set and volume of fluid, CLSVOF)方法对气液界面进行捕捉。结果表明, 液体质量流率($\dot{m}_{\mathrm{l}}$)不变, 随着气体质量流率($\dot{m}_{\mathrm{g}}$)的增加, 中心气流的引射作用增强, 液膜内外压差增大, 雾化锥角减小, 并对其流动特性进行了分析; 而$\dot{m}_{\mathrm{g}}$不变时, 液膜在喷嘴出口的径向速度与切向速度随$\dot{m}_{\mathrm{l}}$的增大而增大, 导致雾化锥角增大。同时根据气液质量流率比(gas-liquid mass flow rate,GLR), 将喷雾的破碎模式分为穿孔破碎、气泡破碎和气动破碎。   相似文献

A search for pair-produced charged Higgs bosons was performed in the data collected by the DELPHI detector at LEP II at centre-of-mass energies from 189 GeV to 209 GeV. Five different final states, , , , and were considered, accounting for the major expected decays in type I and type II Two Higgs Doublet Models. No significant excess of data compared to the expected Standard Model processes was observed. The existence of a charged Higgs boson with mass lower than 76.7 GeV/c2 (type I) or 74.4 GeV/c2 (type II) is excluded at the 95% confidence level, for a wide range of the model parameters. Approximately 438 pb-1 of e + e- data from the OPAL detector, taken with the LEP collider running at centre-of-mass energies of 192-209 GeV, are analyzed to search for evidence of chargino pair production, , or neutralino associated production, . Limits are set at the 95% confidence level on the product of the cross-section for the process and its branching ratios to topologies containing jets and missing energy, or jets with a lepton and missing energy, and on the product of the cross-section for and its branching ratio to jets. R-parity conservation is assumed throughout this paper. When these results are interpreted in the context of the Constrained Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, limits are also set on the masses of the and , and regions of the parameter space of the model are ruled out. We calculate the important next-to-leading-order (NLO) contributions to the BKK * decays from the vertex corrections, the quark loops, and the magnetic penguins in the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach. The pQCD predictions for the CP-averaged branching ratios are , , and Br(B 0K + K *−+K K *+)≈1.3×10−7, which agree well with both the experimental upper limits and the predictions based on the QCD factorization approach.
