提出了一种由一个分布式反馈激光器为主激光器和一个半导体环形激光器为从激光器组成的主从式激光混沌系统方案,主激光器产生的光单向注入到从激光器中,通过调整注入系数、主从激光器的失谐频率和从激光器的偏置电流,使从激光器工作在混沌状态,输出混沌信号。从基于光注入条件下的环形激光器的速率方程组入手,数值模拟了主从激光器的失谐频率、注入系数和从激光器的偏置电流3个工作参量对从激光器输出动态的影响。研究表明:外光注入条件下,半导体环形激光器可以产生混沌信号。通过分析得出:当失谐频率为3.9 GHz、注入系数为0.07、偏置电流为81 mA时,环形激光器可以产生功率谱平坦、带宽较宽的高质量混沌信号。 相似文献

文章分析和比较了几种高能激光器技术发展现状和面临的挑战,以及各自可能适用的范围.特别对二极管抽运固体激光器和光纤激光器的几种束相干合成方法和光束质量评价方法进行了分析和讨论.二极管抽运固体激光器和光纤激光器近十年来异军突起,被人们看作是继化学激光器后的第二代高能激光器.光纤激光器进展要比二极管抽运固体激光器滞后5到10年.对几十万瓦以上的激光器来说,在相当长的时间内仍然要靠化学激光器. 相似文献

简要回顾了高功率掺镱光纤激光器的发展历程,指出宽温运行光纤激光器的需求与应用场景。综述已有关于光纤激光器在变温条件下的研究成果,在高功率光纤激光器的发展中,工作温度对光纤激光器造成的影响将进一步显现。介绍了利用现有光纤器件以及传统光纤激光器设计的宽温运行光纤激光器案例。通过系统设计和结构优化,本课题组已成功实现千瓦级的宽温运行光纤激光器,整机运行温度从常温拓展到-30℃。进一步的功率提升和温度范围拓展还需要对光纤激光器工作机理、光纤器件温度特性等方面进行深入研究。此外,展望了宽温运行光纤激光器的发展趋势,研究结果为高功率宽温运行光纤激光器的发展提供了参考。 相似文献

We have used a tabletop soft-x-ray laser and a wave-front division interferometer to probe the plasma of a pinch discharge. A very compact capillary discharge-pumped Ne-like Ar laser emitting at 46.9 nm was combined with a wave division interferometer based on Lloyd's mirror and Sc-Si multilayer-coated optics to map the electron density in the cathode region of the discharge. This demonstration of the use of tabletop soft-x-ray laser in plasma interferometry could lead to the widespread use of these lasers in the diagnostics of dense plasmas. 相似文献

We have acquired images with a spatial resolution better than 38 nm by using a tabletop microscope that combines 13 nm wavelength light from a high-brightness tabletop laser and Fresnel zone plate optics. These results open a gateway to the development of compact and widely available extreme-ultraviolet imaging tools capable of inspecting samples in a variety of environments with a 15-20 nm spatial resolution and a picosecond time resolution. 相似文献

For many years, researchers have envisioned the development of compact high repetition rate tabletop soft X-ray lasers that could be routinely used in application in numerous disciplines. With demonstrated average powers of several mW and mJ-level pulse energy at 46.9 nm, capillary discharge-pumped lasers are the first compact lasers to reach this goal. In this paper we summarize the development status of high repetition rate tabletop soft X-ray lasers based on capillary discharge excitation, and give examples of their successful use in several applications. Results of the use of a capillary discharge pumped 46.9 nm laser in dense plasma interferometry, soft X-ray reflectometry for the determination of optical constants, and laser ablation are described. The observation of lasing at 53 nm line in Ne-like Cl with output pulse energy up to 10 μJ is also reported. 相似文献

We report a dramatic improvement of the spatial coherence and beam divergence (0.66 mrad) of a 13.2 nm wavelength Ni-like Cd tabletop laser by injection seeding the soft x-ray laser amplifier with high-harmonics pulses generated in a Ne gas jet. In the collision of a high-energy proton beam and a strong laser field, merging of laser photons can occur due to the polarization of vacuum. The probability of photon merging is calculated by exactly accounting for the laser field which involves a highly nonperturbative dependence on the laser intensity and frequency. It is shown that the nonperturbative vacuum-polarization effects can be experimentally measured by combining the next generation of tabletop petawatt lasers with proton accelerators presently available. 相似文献

An all-optical method to determine the duration of ultrashort electron pulses is presented. This technique makes use of the laser pulse ponderomotive potential to effectively sample the temporal envelope of the electron pulse by sequentially scattering different sections of the pulse out of the main beam. Using laser pulse parameters that are easily accessible with modern tabletop chirped-pulse amplification laser sources, it is possible to measure the instantaneous duration of electron pulses shorter than 100 fs in the energy range that is most useful for electron diffraction studies, 10-300 keV. 相似文献

We report the demonstration of laser amplification at 52.9 nm in Ne-like Cl with a compact capillary discharge. Laser output pulses with energies of as much as 10 muJ have been obtained. The beam divergence was approximately 4 mrad. This new 23.4-eV tabletop laser is of particular interest for applications that require high peak fluxes of photons with energy slightly below the He photoionization threshold. 相似文献

The results of experiments on all-optical monitoring of leaky Rayleigh waves are reported. Leaky Rayleigh waves were excited by pulsed laser action on a liquid-solid interface and were detected by the light-beam-deflection technique. Both the measured velocity of their propagation and the attenuation are in good agreement with theoretical predictions. Possible applications include acoustic spectroscopy of materials, depth profiling of layered structures, and tabletop modeling of seismic phenomena. 相似文献

We report saturated operation of an 18.9-nm laser at 5-Hz repetition rate. An amplification with a gain-length product GL of 15.5 is obtained in the 4d 1S0-4p 1P1 laser line of Ni-like Mo in plasmas heated at grazing incidence with approximately 1-J pulses of 8.1-ps duration from a tabletop laser system. Lasing is obtained over a broad range of time delays and pumping conditions. We also measure a GL of 13.5 in the 22.6-nm transition of the same ion. The results are of interest for numerous applications requiring high-repetition-rate lasers at wavelengths below 20 nm. 相似文献
