利用颗粒离散元方法,研究了由2048个有摩擦的单分散圆盘颗粒组成的体系在各向同性压缩条件下,颗粒摩擦系数μ对颗粒体系结构与振动特性的影响.结果表明:固定压强下,随μ的增大,区分德拜标度与态密度平台的过渡频率ω*与玻色峰频率ωBP均向低频移动,玻色峰高度D(ωBP)/ωBP逐渐增加.主要原因是μ增大导致颗粒体系无序程度增加(平均配位数减小)而在ωω*处出现了大量额外模式.模式分析表明:低频(ω1.0)模式主要是以平动为主的混合模式,中频(1.0ω4.0)模式主要是以平动为主的混合局域化模式,高频(ω4.0)振动模式几乎为纯转动的局域化模式;并且随μ的增大,低频下平动模式更加局域化,同时低频转动模式的贡献也逐渐增加,暗示在高摩擦系数下低频转动模式产生更重要的影响.  相似文献

提出了不同结构的一维弹性波复合材料系统模型,包括一维周期结构声子晶体、标准Fibonacci准周期结构声子晶体、广义Fibonacci准周期结构声子晶体以及完全无序结构的复合材料系统. 采用模式匹配理论法,数值计算了弹性波通过一维复合材料系统的透射系数. 计算结果表明,利用特殊的准周期结构声子晶体可获得比周期结构声子晶体更宽的带隙范围,准周期结构排列的复合材料系统相当于在周期结构中引入了缺陷体一样,带隙内出现了丰富的局域模式. 对弹性波/声波在复合材料系统中局域态性质的研究有助于弹性波/声波滤波器、导波器 关键词: 弹性波复合材料 局域化  相似文献

最近研究表明,将声子晶体中的局域共振现象引入到水下吸声材料的设计中,可以观察到由局域共振引起的低频声吸收现象.为了进一步揭示局域共振低频吸声机理并获得更优的水下低频声吸收性能,研究了内嵌不同形状散射子的黏弹性声学覆盖层.利用晶格和散射子在空间排布的对称性,传统有限元方法得到简化,从而节约了计算时间和存储空间,并通过将简化有限元法计算得到的结果与传统有限元法计算的结果进行对比,验证了简化有限元方法的正确性.结合位移云纹图,考察了特定频率点上振动模态与相应的局域共振吸声峰之间的关系,揭示了内嵌圆柱形散射子的黏弹性覆盖层的吸声机理.进一步讨论了相同体积下不同形状的圆柱形散射子对黏弹性覆盖层吸声性能的影响,给出了提升覆盖层低频吸声性能的优化思路.通过讨论不同芯体材质对内嵌圆柱形散射子的黏弹性覆盖层吸声性能的影响,找到了改变第一共振峰位置的方法,从而可以通过调整第一共振峰来实现特定频率范围内的宽带吸声.  相似文献

考虑实际体系的梯度无序和结散射,发展格林函数矩阵分解消元方法,研究了准一维纳米线的电子输运性质. 结果表明,由于结散射,电导随能量呈现振荡行为,无序的引入破坏了电子相干性,在低无序度区平均电导呈现异常增加,呈现一个新的电导峰. 当表面存在无序但无梯度衰减时,体系的平均电导随无序度增强先减后增,出现类局域-退局域性转变. 当表面无序线性衰减时,平均电导在强无序区稍有增加,而当表面无序高斯型衰减时,平均电导指数衰减,类局域-退局域性转变消失,不同于以前的理论预言. 研究结果对准一维纳米线电子器件的结构设计和应用有指导作用. 关键词: 准一维纳米线 梯度无序 电子输运  相似文献

提出了一维广义Fibonacci准周期结构的声子晶体模型. 对弹性波通过该一维准周期结构声子晶体的透射系数进行数值计算,并与周期结构和标准Fibonacci准周期结构声子晶体的透射系数进行比较. 结果表明,利用一维广义Fibonacci准周期结构的声子晶体可获得比周期结构和标准Fibonacci准周期结构声子晶体更大的带隙范围,同时在带隙内有更丰富的局域模式存在. 对局域模性质的研究有助于声波或弹性波滤波器的制作. 关键词: 广义Fibonacci准周期结构 声子晶体 局域化  相似文献

提出了一种采用蓝失谐局域中空光束实现中性原子冷却与囚禁的新方法,并采用Monte-Carlo模拟方法研究了局域中空光束中原子强度梯度冷却(即Sisyphus冷却)的 动力学过程. 研究发现一个温度约为5μK和密度为10^12—10^13cm^3的超冷原子样品可以在我们的单束局域中空光束势阱中获得,而且这一原子密度可通过改变聚焦系统的相对孔径来加以调控. 因此,这一蓝失谐的局域中空光束还可用于实现全光型玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚. 关键词: 局域中空光束 原子囚禁 强度梯度冷却  相似文献

提出了一维准周期结构的声子晶体模型.对弹性波通过该一维准周期结构声子晶体的透射系数进行了数值计算,并与周期结构的透射系数进行了比较.计算结果表明,弹性波通过一维准周期结构声子晶体时,同样会有带隙的出现,且带隙所在频率范围与周期结构的情形完全一样,不同的是在准周期结构声子晶体中,带隙内有很强的局域共振模.对此局域模性质的研究有助于声波或弹性波滤波器的制作. 关键词: 准周期结构 声子晶体 局域化  相似文献

对晶粒尺寸为19.4,8.6和5.6 nm的纳米晶锐钛矿相TiO2,进行了从83到723 K的变温拉曼散射测量,并对Eg(1)模式进行了详细研究.根据非简谐效应和声子局域模型,对Eg(1)拉曼峰进行了拟合与计算.结果表明,以上三种纳米晶粒的晶格振动机理,在本质上是相同的.三声子过程对频率蓝移起主要作用.为了得到很好的拟合,需要同时考虑三声子和四声子过程.随着温度的升高,四声子过程增强,并对三声子过程起抵消作用.与非简谐衰减相关的声子寿命随着晶粒尺寸的减小而增加,晶粒尺寸越小衰减越慢.在低温区,声子局域是导致5.6 nm晶粒的声子寿命非常短的原因.声子局域引起Eg(1)模式在高波数段非对称展宽和频率蓝移,其对Eg(1)峰展宽的影响要大于对峰位移动的影响.  相似文献

We investigate correlations between low-frequency vibrational modes and rearrangements in two-dimensional colloidal glasses composed of thermosensitive microgel particles, which readily permit variation of the sample packing fraction. At each packing fraction, the particle displacement covariance matrix is measured and used to extract the vibrational spectrum of the "shadow" colloidal glass (i.e., the particle network with the same geometry and interactions as the sample colloid but absent damping). Rearrangements are induced by successive, small reductions in the packing fraction. The experimental results suggest that low-frequency quasilocalized phonon modes in colloidal glasses, i.e., modes that present low energy barriers for system rearrangements, are spatially correlated with rearrangements in this thermal system.  相似文献

Structural relaxation in hard-sphere colloidal glasses has been studied using confocal microscopy. The motion of individual particles is followed over long time scales to detect the rearranging regions in the system. We have used normal mode analysis to understand the origin of the rearranging regions. The low-frequency modes, obtained over short time scales, show strong spatial correlation with the rearrangements that happen on long time scales.  相似文献

This Letter presents a mechanism of acoustic phonon broadening for frequencies lower than the boson peak frequency in glasses exhibiting a high-frequency sound above the boson peak. The mechanism is based on a resonant interaction of an acoustic phonon with harmonic vibrational excitations of soft modes in such glasses. The related width of the phonon is found to be independent of temperature and characterized by a power-law frequency dependence ν?ν?, with the exponent ?   varying from ?≈2?2 below the boson peak to ?≈4?4 at lower frequencies. The dependencies do not appear to contradict some recent experimental data, for the glasses under discussion.  相似文献

We have investigated aggregation phenomena of a colloidal dispersion composed of magnetic plate-like particles by means of Monte Carlo simulations. Such plate-like particles have been modelled as disk-like particles with magnetic moment normal to the particle axis at the particle centre, with the section shape of a spherocylinder. The main objective of the present study is to clarify the influences of the magnetic field strength and magnetic interactions between particles on particle aggregation phenomena. We have concentrated our attention on a quasi-2D system from an application point of view such as the development of surface quality changing technology using such magnetic plate-like particles. A magnetic field is applied along the direction perpendicular to the plane of the monolayer. Internal structures of particle aggregates are discussed quantitatively in terms of radial distribution and orientational pair correlation functions. For the case of strong magnetic interactions between particles, particles form long column-like clusters with their magnetic moments alternating in direction between the neighbouring particles. These tendencies appear under circumstances of a weak applied magnetic field. However, as the magnetic field strength increases, particles incline towards the magnetic field direction, so that particles do not form such clusters.  相似文献

Water-lutidine mixtures permit the interparticle potentials of colloidal particles suspended therein to be tuned, in situ, from repulsive to attractive. We employ these systems to directly elucidate the effects of interparticle potential on glass dynamics in experimental samples composed of the same particles at the same packing fractions. Cooperative rearrangement regions (CRRs) and heterogeneous dynamics are observed in both types of glasses. Compared to repulsive glasses, the attractive glass dynamics are found to be heterogeneous over a wider range of time and length scales, and its CRRs involve more particles. Additionally, the CRRs are observed to be stringlike structures in repulsive glasses and compact structures in attractive glasses. Thus, the experiments demonstrate explicitly that glassy dynamics can depend on the sign of the interparticle interaction.  相似文献

从工业上的大尺寸晶体生长到实验室中受限小体系的结晶,结晶是普遍存在的物理现象,也一直是物理学中的重要研究课题.与大尺度结晶相变的研究相比,对于有限小尺度体系结晶过程的研究相对较少.本文通过设计具有吸引相互作用的胶体体系,在实验上研究了有限小尺寸胶体体系的二维结晶相变.通过计算和分析径向分布函数、泰森多边形以及取向序参量,发现有限小尺寸体系的结晶过程是从中央高密度区域开始,随着结晶的进行,周围液相减小而晶相增加,最后完全转变为晶态的过程.体系结晶速率呈现两个阶段:在结晶初期中央区域是高密度的亚稳态液体,会降低结晶自由能能垒,使得体系快速结晶;随后晶相长大,亚稳态液体消失,体系结晶速率变慢.此外,通过统计有序度参量的分布发现:在结晶过程中,序参量出现双峰分布,分别对应液相和晶相,与大尺度胶体体系的二维结晶行为一致,说明序参量分布的变化规律是二维结晶相变的重要特征.  相似文献

We have measured the low-frequency Raman scattering in neutron-irradiated quartz crystals with four different irradiation doses from 4.7×1019 n/cm2 to 1×1020 n/cm2 and for 2 different crystallographic directions. For the used doses the range of density change of the investigated samples was 12% (the maximum change during amorphization is 14%) and the amorphous fraction varied from 35% to 100%. The same measurement was done in neutron-irradiated amorphous silica with a maximal dose 2×1020 n/cm2. In all cases we observed the boson peak in the Raman spectra. The position of the peak, at 67±3 cm-1, was found to be the same for all the investigated samples independent of the dose. The shape of the peak for doses 6.8× 1019 n/cm2 and higher was also found to be the same for 5 investigated samples (including irradiated vitreous silica). We found that the position of the boson peak in neutron-irradiated quartz crystals and vitreous silica corresponds to the Ioffe-Regel crossover frequency for phonons. The origin of the boson peak in neutron-irradiated quartz and vitreous silica can be attributed to local soft optic modes, which are analogous to the soft optic mode that drives the α–β transition in quartz.  相似文献

We investigated the physical properties of low concentration ferroelectric nematic colloids, using calorimetry, optical methods, infrared spectroscopy, and capacitance studies. The resulting homogeneous colloids possess a significantly amplified nematic orientational coupling. We find that the nematic orientation coupling increases by approximately 10% for particle concentrations of 0.2%. A manifestation of the increased orientational order is that the clearing temperature of a nematic colloid increases by up to 40 degrees C compared to the pure liquid crystal host. A theoretical model is proposed in which the ferroelectric particles induce local dipoles whose effective interaction is proportional to the square of the orientational order parameter.  相似文献

Thermal conductivity of solid cyclopentane C5H10 has been measured at isochoric conditions in the plastic phases I and II for samples of different densities. Isochoric thermal conductivity is nearly constant in phase II and increases with temperature in phase I. Such behaviour is attributed to weakening of the translational orientational coupling which, in turn, leads to a decrease of phonon scattering on rotational excitations. The experimental data are described in terms of a modified Debye model of thermal conductivity with allowance for heat transfer by both low-frequency phonons and diffusive modes.  相似文献

A simplified periodic Anderson model, without spin and Hubbard correlation, coupled to a branch of optical phonons is presented and discussed in connection with Rare Earth compounds exhibiting a transition to a mixed valence state. The phonon self energy is approximately calculated by diagrammatic techniques and used for a study of boson modes originating from the interplay of phonons withf-electrons mixed into band states. It is shown that weakly damped low lying or even soft modes may exist in connection with the transition. The relevance of these results to real systems, possible shortcomings of the model and the relations to other work in this field is described.  相似文献
