本文采用三维半经典再散射模型系统地研究了 He 原子在 光强从域下到近序列双电离区强场作用下的非序列双电离问题, 统计了各种场强下最终电离的两个电子正负关联的几率之比, 发现发生最大正关联的场强处于向非序列 双电离饱和区过渡的区域, 并在关联纵向动量谱中展示了形成最大关联度的过程. 最后通过轨道"回溯"分析, 进一步研究了其背后的物理机理, 发现在碰撞后其中一个电子再散射和隧穿电子高速弱碰撞分别 是低场强和高场强下负关联比例增加的原因.  相似文献

利用经典系综模型研究了正交双色场中氦原子非次序双电离对双色场强度比的依赖关系.研究表明, 该依赖关系与双色场相对相位φ 有关. φ =0.25π 时,沿长波长激光偏振方向的相关动量谱随强度比的增大从相关模式转变为反相关模式. φ =0.35π, 0.45π 时,相关动量主要分布在第一和第三象限,相关模式几乎不随强度比的变化而变化.对双电离轨迹碰撞时间、碰撞角、碰撞动量的向后分析可以解释上述结果,并显示了正交双色场对非次序双电离中碰撞时间、碰撞角的控制作用.  相似文献

When intense laser pulses release electrons nonsequentially, the time delay between the last recollision and the subsequent ionization may last longer than what is expected from a direct impact scenario [recollision excitation with subsequent ionization (RESI)]. We show that the resulting delayed ionization stems from the inner electron being promoted to a sticky region. We identify the mechanism that traps and releases the electron from this region. As a signature of this mechanism, we predict oscillations in the ratio of RESI to double ionization yields versus laser intensity.  相似文献

Within a quantum-mechanical model, we investigate strong-field double ionization of a model helium atom by near-infrared, linearly polarized laser pulses at intensities far below the recollision threshold. The quantum simulations show a clear mechanism change from sequential to nonsequential double ionization (NSDI) as the laser intensity increases. For NSDI, the two-electron correlated momentum distribution exhibits a strong final-state Coulomb repulsion effect for high-energy photoelectrons, but absent for low-energy photoelectrons. This repulsion effect is ascribed to field double ionization from doubly-excited states populated by recollision of the first ionized electron when it returns to the parent ion. Such recollision-induced excited states are absent at ultraviolet wavelengths due to the very low returning kinetic energies, resulting to the absence of final-state repulsion effect in NSDI.  相似文献

The correlated electron dynamics of asymmetric molecules driven by orthogonal two-color laser pulse is investigated by classical ensemble method. It is found that the patterns of correlated momentum distributions depend sensitively on the relative phase as well as the intensity ratio of the two-color fields. Moreover, the affection of intensity ratio on the correlated momentum distributions changes with relative phase. The results above are explained by the back analysis of recollision time and recollision angle of double ionization trajectories.  相似文献

We have investigated the full three-dimensional momentum correlation between the electrons emitted from strong field double ionization of neon when the recollision energy of the first electron is on the order of the ionization potential. The momentum correlation in the direction perpendicular to the laser field depends on the time difference of the two electrons leaving the ion. Our results are consistent with double ionization proceeding through transient double excited states that field ionize.  相似文献

The microscopic recollision dynamics in strong-field nonsequential double ionization of Ar atoms is investigated using three-dimensional classical ensembles. By adjusting the nuclear Coulomb potential, we can excellently reproduce the experimental results both within the laser intensity
regimes well above the recollision threshold and well below the recollision threshold quantitatively. More importantly, our trajectory analysis clearly reveals the particular electronic dynamics in recollision process: the momentum of the recolliding electron encounters a sudden change both in magnitude and in
direction when it approaches the nucleus closely, which show that the nuclear Coulomb attraction plays a key role in the recollision process of nonsequential double ionization of Ar atoms.  相似文献

A semiclassical quasistatic model is used to investigate the recollision dynamics in circularly polarized laser fields. A velocity window for recollision to occur is found. Only when the return electron's orbits are irregular does significant double ionization take place. The model reproduces the experimental results for magnesium and explains the apparently conflicting experimental results in terms of an analytical formula that demarcates the phase diagram for the nonsequential double ionization in circularly polarized laser fields.  相似文献

Using the classical ensemble method, we investigate nonsequential double ionization (NSDI) of diatomic molecules by elliptically polarized laser pulses. The results show that the ellipticity of the laser field has a strong suppression effect on NSDI probabilities both in parallel and perpendicular alignments. The double ionization (DI) channel is commonly dominated by NSDI, and the NSDI channel changes with ellipticity. As ellipticity increases, more and more NSDIs occur through recollision excitation with subsequent field ionization (RESI). Moreover, like the case of linear polarization, the two electrons involved in NSDI for perpendicularly aligned molecules are more likely to emit into the opposite hemispheres as compared to the case of parallel alignment. Additionally, this alignment effect increases as ellipticity increases.  相似文献

利用含时波包加上傅里叶变换方法研究强激光场中不同同位素分子对高次谐波产率的影响。运用电子与核运动的相干量子力学方法得到了电离电子与正离子的碰撞几率。通过对三种同位素分子H2,D2和T2的碰撞几率分布的对比,发现在前三个光周期内电离电子会多次返回与正离子发生碰撞,但是对应不同同位素分子的碰撞几率的最大值都出现在第一个光周期中。在后两个光周期内三种分子的碰撞几率分布表明较重同位素分子T2对应的碰撞几率最大。通过对三种同位素分子电离率的计算发现同位素分子中较重分子的电离率较高,而电离率越大高次谐波产率越大。因此,在同等条件下,重同位素分子对应较高的高次谐波产率。  相似文献

By numerically solving the three-dimensional time-dependent Schrödinger equation, we have invest-tigated multiphoton ionization of hydrogen atom in the two-color circularly polarized (TCCP) laser fields consisting of a strong 400 nm and a much weaker 800 nm pulses. Due to the presence of perturb-bative 800 nm laser pulse, sideband peaks emerge between the above-threshold ionization rings in the photoelectron momentum distributions. Our numerical results show that the sideband peaks exhibit one-lobe structure in the co-rotating TCCP laser fields, while it displays the three-lobe structure in the counter-rotating TCCP laser fields. Moreover, the photoelectron yield of sidebands in the co-rotating TCCP fields is much higher than those of the counter-rotating TCCP fields. These phenomena could be well explained from the perspective of the photon-absorption channels via the selection rules. In-terestingly, an obvious phase shift between the sidebands of different orders from the co-rotating and counter-rotating TCCP fields is observed. This shift indicates the helicity-dependent time delay in the one-photon continuum-continuum transition process.  相似文献

With the three-dimensional semiclassical ensemble model, we studied the correlated electron dynamics in strong-field nonsequential double ionization of Xe by mid-infrared laser pulses over a wide range of laser intensities. Numerical results show that the correlated electron momentum distribution exhibits the strong back-to-back pattern at the lower laser intensity. It evolves into the side-by-side behavior as the laser intensity increases and presents the experimentally observed crosslike shape at high laser intensity. Different from the case of near-infrared region where recollision mainly occurs at the first returning, at the mid-infrared region recollision dominantly occurs at the later returnings. The windows of initial transverse velocity for the various multiple-returning recollision trajectories are different and are unambiguously determined by this semiclassical ensemble model.  相似文献

We report that multiple dissociative channels of carbon monoxide (CO) molecules are selectively controlled using intense phase-stabilized few-cycle laser fields (4.2 fs, 740 nm, 6×10(14) W/cm(2)). The controllable emission direction of C(2+) from charge asymmetrical dissociation and ionization of CO dications is out of phase in a linear polarized laser field. The strong coupling between the channels is explained as the competition of recollision excitation and recollision ionization in a recollision process, leading to the opposite asymmetrical property. The experimental result provides insight into high degree controlling molecular multiple dissociative processes in the time scale of electronic motion.  相似文献

The production of high-momentum electrons in double ionization of helium by near-infrared lasers is investigated using three-dimensional classical ensembles. The nucleus' role is examined by systematically adjusting the nuclear potential. The primary source of the high-energy electrons is found to be backscattering off the nucleus at recollision. Recollision excitation with backscattering of the unbound electron is found to be especially important. It is shown that recollision excitation with ionization before the next field maximum can lead to a correlated electron pair.  相似文献

We experimentally investigate the double ionization of molecular hydrogen subjected to ultrashort intense laser pulses.The total kinetic energy release of the two coincident H~+ ions,which provides a diagnosis of different processes to double ionization of H_2,is measured for two different pulse durations,i.e.,25 and 5fs,and various laser intensities.It is found that,for the long pulse duration(i.e.,25 fs),the double ionization occurs mainly via two processes,i.e.,the charge resonance enhanced ionization and recollision-induced double ionization.Moreover,the contributions from these two processes can be significantly modulated by changing the laser intensity.In contrast,for a few-cycle pulse of 5fs,only the recollsion-induced double ionization survives,and in particular,this process could be solely induced by the first-return recollision at appropriate laser intensities,providing an efficient way to probe the sub-laser-cycle molecular dynamics.  相似文献

Through C60, we address the role of electron recollision in the nonresonant, femtosecond laser ionization of large, highly polarizable molecules. We show how the electron trajectories are influenced by the laser field, the laser induced dipole field, and the Coulomb field of the ion core. Working at long wavelengths we observe recollision in C60 through the ellipticity dependence of the fragmentation it produces. The ionizing electron emerges from C60z+ (z = 3, 4) with a lateral velocity of approximately 12 angstroms/fs, approximately half its Fermi velocity. Despite the large lateral velocity and competing forces on the electron, recollision remains relatively probable for this scale of molecule.  相似文献

This paper uses the classical ensemble method to study the double ionization of a 2-dimensional (2D) model helium atom interacting with an elliptically polarized laser pulse. The classical ensemble calculation demonstrates that the ratio of double to single ionization decreases with the increasing ellipticity of the driving field. The classical scenario shows that there are hardly any e--e recollisions with the circularly polarized laser pulse. The double ionization probability is studied for linearly and circularly polarized laser pulses. The classical numerical results are consistent with the semiclassical rescattering mechanism and in agreement with the experimental results and the quantum calculations qualitatively.  相似文献

Using a classical ensemble model, we investigate the correlation behaviour of electrons originating from nonsequential double ionization (NSDI) of argon atoms by the elliptically polarized laser pulses. Because of the ellipticity, not only the first electron to return but also the later return of tunneled electrons contribute significantly to NSDI. We mainly discuss two kinds of events of NSDI originating from the first and the second return separately. For the NSDI resulting from the recollision of the first return, the correlated electron momentum spectrum along the long axis of the laser polarization plane reveals an obvious V-like shape, located at the first and third quadrant. However, for the NSDI resulting from the recollision of the second return, the momenta of two electrons are distributed in the four quadrants uniformly. By analysing the trajectories of these two kinds, we find that the recollision energy and the laser phase at recollision are different for the first and second returning trajectories, which are responsible for the difference in the correlated behavior of the final electron momentum.  相似文献
