Excess molar enthalpies, HijkE, of 1,3-dioxolane or 1,4-dioxane (i) + aniline (j) + benzene or toluene (k) ternary mixtures have been measured as a function of composition at 308.15 K. The HijkE data have been fitted to Redlich-Kister equation to determine ternary adjustable parameters along with their standard deviations. It has been observed that HijkE values predicted by Graph theory compare well with their corresponding experimental values. The observed data have been analyzed in terms of (i) Graph theory (which involves the topology of a molecule); (ii) Prigogine-Flory-Patterson; and (iii) Sanchez and Lacombe theories.  相似文献

Densities ρ, dynamic viscosities η, of the ternary mixture (diethylcarbonate + p-chloroacetophenone + 1-hexanol) and the involved binary mixtures (diethylcarbonate + p-chloroacetophenone), (diethylcarbonate + 1-hexanol), and (p-chloroacetophenone + 1-hexanol) have been measured over the whole composition range at 303.15 K for the liquid region and at ambient pressure. The data obtained are used to calculate excess molar volumes VmE, excess partial molar volumes V¯m,iE, limiting excess partial molar volumes V¯m,iE,∞, and viscosity deviations Δη, of the binary and ternary mixtures. The data of excess molar volumes of the binary systems were fitted to the Redlich–Kister equation while for the ternary system the Cibulka equation was used. The McAllister's four body, and Kalidas and Laddha interaction models are used to correlate the kinematic viscosities of binary and ternary mixtures, respectively, to determine the fitting parameters and the standard deviations. The experimental data of the constitute binaries and ternary are analyzed to discuss the nature and strength of intermolecular interactions in these mixtures.  相似文献

The absorption spectrum of ozone, 16O3, has been recorded in the 5903-5960 cm−1 region by high sensitivity CW-cavity ring down spectroscopy (αmin ∼ 5 × 10−10 cm−1). The ν1 + 3ν2 + 3ν3 and 4ν1 + ν2 + ν3 A-type bands centred at 5919.15 and 5947.07 cm−1 were newly observed. A set of 173 and 168 energy levels could be experimentally determined for the (1 3 3) and (4 1 1) states, respectively. Except for a few Ka = 5 levels of the (4 1 1) state, the rotational structure of the two states was found mostly unperturbed. The spectroscopic parameters were determined from a fit of the corresponding line positions by considering the (1 3 3) and (4 1 1) states as isolated. The determined effective Hamiltonian and transition moment operators were used to generate a list of 785 transitions given as Supplementary Material.  相似文献

Densities ρ, viscosities η, and refractive indices nD, of the binary and ternary mixtures formed by cyclohexanone + N,N-dimethylacetamide + N,N-diethylethanolamine were measured at (298.15, 308.15, and 318.15) K for the liquid region and at ambient pressure for the whole composition ranges. The excess molar volumes VmE, viscosity deviations Δη, and refractive index deviations ΔnD, were calculated from experimental densities and refractive indices. The excess molar volumes are positive over the mole fraction range for binary mixtures of cyclohexanone(1) + N,N-dimethylacetamide (2) and N,N-dimethylactamide (2) + N,N-diethylethanolamine (3) and increase with increasing temperatures from (298.15 to 318.15) K. The excess molar volumes of cyclohexanone (1) + N,N-diethylethanolamine (3) are S-shaped dependence on composition with negative values in the N,N-diethylethanolamine rich-region and positive values at the opposite extreme and increase with increasing temperatures from (298.15 to 318.15) K. The excess molar volumes are positive over the whole mole fraction ranges for the ternary mixtures at all temperatures. Viscosity deviations are negative over the mole fraction range for all binary and ternary mixtures and decrease with increasing temperatures from (298.15 to 318.15) K. Refractive index deviations are negative over the mole fraction range for all binary and ternary mixtures and increase with increasing temperatures from (298.15 to 318.15) K. The experimental data of constitute were correlated as a function of the mole fraction by using the Redlich–Kister equation for binary and , Cibulka, Jasinski and Malanowski , Singe et al., Pintos et al., Calvo et al., Kohler, and Jacob–Fitzner for ternary mixture, respectively. McAllister's three body, Hind, and Nissan–Grunberg models were used for correlating the kinematic and dynamic viscosity of binary mixtures. The experimental data of the constitute binaries are analyzed to discuss the nature and strength of intermolecular interactions in these mixtures.  相似文献

The densities ρ, viscosities η, and refractive indices nD of binary mixtures of dimethyl carbonate (DMC) with acetophenone, cyclopentanone, cyclohexanone, and 3-pentanone have been measured over the entire range of composition at the temperatures 303.15, 308.15 and 313.15 K and at atmospheric pressure. The density values were used to calculate excess molar volumes VE, and other excess functions of interest such as deviations in viscosity Δη, excess Gibb's free energies of activation of viscous flow ΔGE and deviations in molar refraction ΔR. The measured viscosities were compared with those predicted using the Grunberg-Nissan, Eyring-Margules, Soliman-Marshall, and McAllister four body models. Furthermore the refractive indices data have been correlated using Lorentz-Lorentz, Weiner, Newton, Gladstone-Dale, Eykman, and Eyring-John equations and a satisfactory agreement was found for all the binary systems studied in the present work.  相似文献

A high resolution (0.0018 cm−1) Fourier transform instrument has been used to record the spectrum of an enriched 34S (95.3%) sample of sulfur dioxide. A thorough analysis of the ν2, 2ν2 − ν2, ν1, ν1 + ν2 − ν2, ν3, ν2 + ν3 − ν2, ν1 + ν2 and ν2 + ν3 bands has been carried out leading to a large set of assigned lines. From these lines ground state combination differences were obtained and fit together with the existing microwave, millimeter, and terahertz rotational lines. An improved set of ground state rotational constants were obtained. Next, the upper state rotational levels were fit. For the (0 1 0), (1 1 0) and (0 1 1) states, a simple Watson-type Hamiltonian sufficed. However, it was necessary to include explicitly interacting terms in the Hamiltonian matrix in order to fit the rotational levels of the (0 2 0), (1 0 0) and (1 0 1) states to within their experimental accuracy. More explicitly, it was necessary to use a ΔK = 2 term to model the Fermi interaction between the (0 2 0) and (1 0 0) levels and a ΔK = 3 term to model the Coriolis interaction between the (1 0 0) and (0 0 1) levels. Precise Hamiltonian constants were derived for the (0 0 0), (0 1 0), (1 0 0), (0 0 1), (0 2 0), (1 1 0) and (0 1 1) vibrational states.  相似文献

Densities ρ, speeds of sound u, viscosities η and refractive indices nD of binary mixtures of octan-2-ol with benzene, chlorobenzene and bromobenzene have been measured over the entire range of composition at 298.15 and 303.15 K and atmospheric pressure. From the experimental data, excess molar volumes VE, isentropic compressibilities κS, excess isentropic compressibilities κSE, and deviations of speeds of sound uD, have been calculated at 298.15 and 303.15 K. These excess functions have been fitted to the Redlich-Kister polynomial equation. The viscosity data have been correlated using Kendall-Monroe, Grunberg-Nissan, Tamura-Kurata, Hind-Mclaughlin Ubbelohde and Katti-Chaudhary viscosity models, and McAllister's three-body interaction model at different temperatures.  相似文献

Ab initio transition state theory (TST) based master equation simulations are used to predict the temperature and pressure dependence of the H + NCO reaction rate and product branching. The barrierless entrance channels to form singlet HNCO and NCOH are studied with variable reaction coordinate TST employing a potential energy surface obtained from multi-reference configuration interaction ab initio calculations. The remaining channels, including reactions on the triplet surface, are studied with standard TST methods employing high level electronic structure results. The energy transfer parameters for the master equation simulations arise from a fit to the experimentally observed HNCO dissociation rate. The lowest energy threshold to formation of bimolecular products, 3NH + CO, lies well below the reactants. The bottleneck for intersystem crossing, which precedes the formation of 3NH + CO from the singlet adducts, becomes the dominant bottleneck for that channel at quite low energies relative to reactants. The effect of this bottleneck is studied with model calculations designed to reproduce detailed experimental observations of photolysis branching ratios. This bottleneck greatly reduces the flux from H + NCO to 3NH + CO via the singlet adducts. As a result, stabilization and reaction on solely the triplet surface are significant components of the overall rate. The present predictions for the high pressure and collisionless limit rate coefficients are accurately reproduced over the 200-2500 K range by the expressions, 1.53 × 10−5T−1.86exp(−399/T) + 1.07 × 103T−3.15exp(−15219/T) and 5.62 × 10−12T0.493exp(148/T) cm3 molecule−1 s−1, respectively, where T is in K. These predictions are in reasonably satisfactory agreement with the somewhat discordant experimental rate measurements.  相似文献

The absorption spectrum of acetylene-d has been observed at high resolution between 6470 and 6630 cm−1 using an external cavity diode laser. Three cold bands have been observed: the strong 2ν1 band, the weaker ν1 + ν2 + 2ν5 band, and the (ν1 + ν3 + ν5)1 band, which gains its intensity through Coriolis resonance with 2ν1. Centers of unblended lines are determined with an accuracy of approximately 10 MHz.  相似文献

The pure rotational J + 1 ← J transitions, with J = 0, 1, 3-8, of H13CN have been observed in the millimeter- and submillimeter-wave region using the Lamb-dip technique to resolve the hyperfine structure due to H, 13C, and 14N. The present observations allow us to provide for the first time the spin-rotation constant of 13C and the spin-spin interaction constant S12 (between H and 13C) as well as to remarkably improve the quadrupole coupling and spin-rotation constants of 14N. In addition, a good empirical estimation of CI(H), based on ab initio calculations, has also been provided. Furthermore, our frequencies together with previous data permit to determine the most accurate ground state rotational parameters known up to now.  相似文献

We attempt to correlate qualitatively the surface structure with the chemical activity for a metal surface, Cr(1 1 0), and one of its surface oxides, Cr2O3(0 0 0 1)/Cr(1 1 0). The kinetics and dynamics of CO2 adsorption have been studied by low energy electron diffraction (LEED), Aug er electron spectroscopy (AES), and thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS), as well as adsorption probability measurements conducted for impact energies of Ei = 0.1-1.1 eV and adsorption temperatures of Ts = 92-135 K. The Cr(1 1 0) surface is characterized by a square shaped LEED pattern, contamination free Cr AES, and a single dominant TDS peak (binding energy Ed = 33.3 kJ/mol, first order pre-exponential 1 × 1013 s−1). The oxide exhibits a hexagonal shaped LEED pattern, Cr AES with an additional O-line, and two TDS peaks (Ed = 39.5 and 30.5 kJ/mol). The initial adsorption probability, S0, is independent of Ts for both systems and decreases exponentially from 0.69 to 0.22 for Cr(1 1 0) with increasing Ei, with S0 smaller by ∼0.15 for the surface oxide. The coverage dependence of the adsorption probability, S(Θ), at low Ei is approx. independent of coverage (Kisliuk-shape) and increases initially at large Ei with coverage (adsorbate-assisted adsorption). CO2 physisorbs on both systems and the adsorption is non-activated and precursor mediated. Monte Carlo simulations (MCS) have been used to parameterize the beam scattering data. The coverage dependence of Ed has been obtained by means of a Redhead analysis of the TDS curves.  相似文献

In this work, angular distribution measurements for the elastic channel were performed for the 9Be + 12C reaction at the energies ELab=13.0ELab=13.0, 14.5, 17.3, 19.0 and 21.0 MeV, near the Coulomb barrier. The data have been analyzed in the framework of the double folding São Paulo potential. The experimental elastic scattering angular distributions were well described by the optical potential at forward angles for all measured energies. However, for the three highest energies, an enhancement was observed for intermediate and backward angles. This can be explained by the elastic transfer mechanism.  相似文献

Densities and viscosities of ternary mixtures of 2-pyrrolidone + 1,2-propanediol + water and corresponding binary mixtures of 1,2-propanediol + water, 2-pyrrolidone + water and 2-pyrrolidone + 1,2-propanediol have been measured over the whole composition range at 313.15 K. From the obtained data, the excess molar volumes (VE), the deviations in viscosity (Δη) and the excess Gibbs free energy of activation (ΔG?E) have been calculated. The VE, Δη and ΔG?E results were correlated and fitted by the Redlich–Kister equation for binary mixtures and by the Cibulka equation for ternary mixtures, as a function of mole fraction. Several predictive empirical relations were applied to predict the excess molar volumes of ternary mixtures from the binary mixing data.  相似文献

Monte Carlo simulations show that, at one monolayer coverage, H2 molecules adsorbed on a NaCl(0 0 1) surface occupy all Na+ sites and form a commensurate c(2 × 2) structure. If the Cl sites are occupied as well, a bi-layer p(2 × 1) structure forms. An examination of the H2 molecules’ rotational motion shows the molecular axes are azimuthally delocalized and so both of the structures acquire (1 × 1) symmetry in accord with experimental observations. These calculations also show that helicoptering o-H2 (J = 1, m = ±1) prefer to sit on top of Na+ sites, while cartwheeling o-H2 (J = 1, m = 0) prefers to locate over Cl sites, in agreement with other work.  相似文献

The ammonia ν1 + 2ν4 perpendicular stretch-bend combination band has been investigated in spectra of 14NH3 and 15NH3 recorded in the 6400-6800 cm−1 region with an external cavity tunable diode laser (ECTDL) spectrometer. For 14NH3, new assignments were determined initially by extrapolating from published low-J jet-cooled beam results up to transitions of higher J and K. Corresponding ν1 + 2ν4 transitions for the 15NH3 species were then found by identifying similar patterns of lines with a characteristic downshift of approximately 9.7 cm−1. Assignments were confirmed employing ground-state combination differences. Term values, a-s inversion splittings, l-doubling energies and parameter estimates from simple single-state fits are reported for the two ammonia species.  相似文献

Densities (ρ) and speeds of sound (u) for the binary mixtures of 1-hexanol with n-hexane, n-octane and n-decane have been measured over the entire composition range at 298.15, 303.15 and 308.15 K. The dynamic viscosities (η) for these systems have been measured at 298.15 K. From experimental data, excess molar volumes (VmE), molar isentropic compressibility (Ks,m), excess molar isentropic compressibility (Ks,mE), deviation in speed of sound (uD) from their ideal values (uid) in an ideal mixture, and excess free volumes (VfE) have been calculated. The excess functions have also been correlated with the Redlich–Kister polynomial equation. The viscosity data have been analysed in terms of some semi-empirical equations. The theoretical values of speed of sound (u) and isentropic compressibility (κS) have also been estimated using the Prigogine–Flory–Patterson (PFP) theory with the van der Waals (vdW) potential energy model and the results have been compared with experimental values. The effect of chain-length of n-alkanes as well as the temperature on the excess properties has also been studied.  相似文献

The adsorption of sulfur dioxide molecule (SO2) on Li atom deposited on the surfaces of metal oxide MgO (1 0 0) on both anionic and defect (Fs-center) sites located on various geometrical defects (terrace, edge and corner) has been studied using density functional theory (DFT) in combination with embedded cluster model. The adsorption energy (Eads) of SO2 molecule (S-atom down as well as O-atom down) in different positions on both of O−2 and Fs sites is considered. The spin density (SD) distribution due to the presence of Li atom is discussed. The geometrical optimizations have been done for the additive materials and MgO substrate surfaces (terrace, edge and corner). The oxygen vacancy formation energies have been evaluated for MgO substrate surfaces. The ionization potential (IP) for defect free and defect containing of the MgO surfaces has been calculated. The adsorption properties of SO2 are analyzed in terms of the Eads, the electron donation (basicity), the elongation of S-O bond length and the atomic charges on adsorbed materials. The presence of the Li atom increases the catalytic effect of the anionic O−2 site of MgO substrate surfaces (converted from physisorption to chemisorption). On the other hand, the presence of the Li atom decreases the catalytic effect of the Fs-site of MgO substrate surfaces. Generally, the SO2 molecule is strongly adsorbed (chemisorption) on the MgO substrate surfaces containing Fs-center.  相似文献

The far-infrared and middle-infrared emission spectra of deuterated water vapour were measured at temperatures 1370, 1520, and 1940 K in the ranges 320-860 and 1750-3400 cm−1. The measurements were performed in an alumina cell with an effective length of hot gas of about 50 cm. More than 3550 new measured lines for the D216O molecule corresponding to transitions from highly excited rotational levels of the (0 2 0), (1 0 0), and (0 0 1) vibrational states are reported. These new lines correspond to rotational states with higher values of the rotational quantum numbers compared to previously published determinations: Jmax = 29 and Ka(max) = 22 for the (0 2 0) state, Jmax = 29 and Ka(max) = 25 for the (1 0 0) state, and Jmax = 30 and Ka(max) = 23 for the (0 0 1) state. The extended set of 1987 experimental rotational energy levels for the (0 2 0), (1 0 0), and (0 0 1) vibration states including all previously available data has been determined. For the data reduction we used the generating function model. The root mean square (RMS) deviation between observed and calculated values is 0.004 cm−1 for 1952 rovibrational levels of all three vibration states. A comparison of the observed energy levels with the best available values from the literature and with the global predictions from molecular electronic potential energy surfaces of water isotopic species [H. Partridge, D.W. Schwenke, J. Chem. Phys. 106 (1997) 4618] is discussed. The latter confirms a good consistency of mass-dependent DBOC corrections in the PS potential function with new experimental rovibrational data.  相似文献

The absorption spectrum of carbon dioxide has been studied between 8800 and 9530 cm−1 by intracavity laser absorption spectroscopy based on a vertical external cavity surface emitting lasers (VeCSEL). Previous laboratory spectra at high resolution were nearly absent in the considered spectral region. Experiments were carried with natural carbon dioxide and with 13C enriched carbon dioxide leading to the determination of the rovibrational parameters of a total of 15 very weak vibrational transitions, including two bands of the 16O13C18O isotopologue. The observed transitions are assigned to components of the 2ν1 + 3ν3 triad and of the much weaker 5ν1 + ν3 hexad. Our measured line positions are found in excellent agreement with the predictions of the effective Hamiltonians developed for 12C16O2 and 13C16O2 but significant deviations were evidenced for the 16O13C18O minor isotopologue. The relative band intensities within each polyad are also discussed on the basis of the effective Hamiltonian model.  相似文献
