A new formulation of effective potential for local composite operators is given. The two-fermion condensate \(\langle \bar \Psi \Psi \rangle \) and four-fermion condensate \(\langle \bar \Psi \Psi \bar \Psi \Psi \rangle \) are calculated simultaneously in the Gross-Neveu model up to next-to-the-leading order in 1/N expansion. It is shown that factorization \(\langle \bar \Psi \Psi \bar \Psi \Psi \rangle = C_1 \langle \bar \Psi \Psi \rangle ^2 \) holds only in theN→∞ limit and the non-factorized part of \(\langle \bar \Psi \Psi \bar \Psi \Psi \rangle \) contributed by the order-1/N terms is comparable to \(C_1 \langle \bar \Psi \Psi \rangle ^2 \) when takingN=3.  相似文献

Rapidity distributions of net hyperons $\left( {\Lambda - \bar \Lambda } \right)$ are compared to distributions of participant protons $\left( {p - \bar p} \right)$ . Strangeness production (mean multiplicities of produced Λ/Σ0 hyperons and $\left\langle {K + \bar K} \right\rangle $ in central nucleusnucleus collisions is shown for different collision systems at different energies. An enhanced production of $\bar \Lambda $ compared to $\bar p$ is observed at 200 GeV per nucleon.  相似文献

A well known difficulty with a large value of the σ term in πN scattering is analysed from positions of the QCD sum rules approach. The matrix element \(\left\langle {p\left| {\bar ss} \right|p} \right\rangle\) is related to flavour singlet correlation function of two quark condensates at zero momentum. The splittings \(\left\langle {p\left| {\bar uu - \bar ss} \right|p} \right\rangle\) and \(\left\langle {p\left| {\bar dd - \bar ss} \right|p} \right\rangle\) are calculated and turn to be in agreement withSU 3 relations.  相似文献

We systematically exploit the reported data on \(F_2^{\gamma p} ,F_2^{\gamma n} ,\sigma ^{vN} ,\sigma ^{\bar vN} ,\left\langle {xy} \right\rangle _{vN} ,\left\langle {xy} \right\rangle _{\bar vN} ,\left\langle {1 - y} \right\rangle _{vN} \) and \(\left\langle {1 - y} \right\rangle _{\bar vN} \) in order to test various versions of the quark parton model and to obtain further predictions.  相似文献

The average multiplicities of charged hadrons and of π+, π? and π0 mesons, produced in \(\bar v\) Ne and νNe charged current interactions in the forward and backward hemispheres of theW ±-nucleon center of mass system, are studied with data from BEBC. The dependence of the multiplicities on the hadronic mass (W) and on the laboratory rapidity (y Lab) and the energy fraction (z) of the pion is also investigated. Special care is taken to determine the π0 multiplicity accurately. The ratio of average π multiplicities \(\frac{{2\left\langle {n_{\pi ^O } } \right\rangle }}{{[\left\langle {n_{\pi ^ + } } \right\rangle + \left\langle {n_{\pi ^ - } } \right\rangle ]}}\) is consistent with 1. In the backward hemisphere \(\left\langle {n_{\pi ^O } } \right\rangle \) is positively correlated with the charged multiplicity. This correlation, as well as differences in multiplicities between \(\mathop v\limits^{( - )} \) and \(\mathop v\limits^{( - )} \) , \(\mathop v\limits^{( - )} \) scattering, is attributed to reinteractions inside the neon nucleus of the hadrons produced in the initial \(\mathop v\limits^{( - )} \) interaction.  相似文献

Approximating the long-distance gluon dynamics ofSU(3)colour by colour-dielectric block-spin variables, we obtain an effective QCD theory of a scalar colour-dielectric field and a massive colour-bleached gluon field coupled to light quarks. The massive vector field produces a strong attraction betweenq \(\bar q\) pairs, which leads toq \(\bar q\) condensation when the colour-dielectric field becomes small. We calculate \(\left\langle {\bar \psi \psi } \right\rangle\) and the pion decay constantf n as a function of the dielectric field expectation value, by evaluating the fermion determinant in a derivative expansion, and integrating out the bosonic variables. We find that the effective quark-gluon coupling,α s eff , including quark effects, is large on the surface of bags, where \(\left\langle {\bar \psi \psi } \right\rangle\) ±0, but decreases inside hadronic bags, where | \(\left\langle {\bar \psi \psi } \right\rangle\) | is decreasing.  相似文献

New spectral representations for f π and chiral condensate are derived in QCD and used for calculations in the large-N c limit. Both quantities are expressed in this limit through string tension σ and gluon correlation length T g without fitting parameters. As a result, one obtains $\left\langle {\bar qq} \right\rangle = - N_c \sigma ^2 T_g a_1 $ , $f_\pi = \sqrt {N_c } \sigma T_g a_2 $ , with a 1=0.0823, a 2=0.30. Taking σ=0.18 GeV2 and T g=1 GeV?1, as known from analytic and lattice calculations, this yields $\left\langle {\bar qq} \right\rangle $ (μ=2 GeV)=?(0.225 GeV)3, f π=0.094 GeV, which is close to the standard values.  相似文献

The topics of confinement, average forces, and the Ehrenfest theorem are examined for a particle in one spatial dimension. Two specific cases are considered: (i) A free particle moving on the entire real line, which is then permanently confined to a line segment or ‘a box’ (this situation is achieved by taking the limit V 0?→?∞ in a finite well potential). This case is called ‘a particle-in-an-infinite-square-well-potential’. (ii) A free particle that has always been moving inside a box (in this case, an external potential is not necessary to confine the particle, only boundary conditions). This case is called ‘a particle-in-a-box’. After developing some basic results for the problem of a particle in a finite square well potential, the limiting procedure that allows us to obtain the average force of the infinite square well potential from the finite well potential problem is re-examined in detail. A general expression is derived for the mean value of the external classical force operator for a particle-in-an-infinite-square-well-potential, $\hat{F}$ . After calculating similar general expressions for the mean value of the position ( $\hat{X}$ ) and momentum ( $\hat{P}$ ) operators, the Ehrenfest theorem for a particle-in-an-infinite-square-well-potential (i.e., $\mathrm{d}\langle\hat{X}\rangle/\mathrm{d}t=\langle\hat{P}\rangle/M$ and $\mathrm{d}\langle\hat{P}\rangle/\mathrm{d}t=\langle\hat{F}\rangle$ ) is proven. The formal time derivatives of the mean value of the position ( $\hat{x}$ ) and momentum ( $\hat{p}$ ) operators for a particle-in-a-box are re-introduced. It is verified that these derivatives present terms that are evaluated at the ends of the box. Specifically, for the wave functions satisfying the Dirichlet boundary condition, the results, $\mathrm{d}\langle\hat{x}\rangle/\mathrm{d}t=\langle\hat{p}\rangle/M$ and $\mathrm{d}\langle\hat{p}\rangle/\mathrm{d}t=\mathrm{b.t.}+\langle\hat{f}\rangle$ , are obtained where b.t. denotes a boundary term and $\hat{f}$ is the external classical force operator for the particle-in-a-box. Thus, it appears that the expected Ehrenfest theorem is not entirely verified. However, by considering a normalized complex general state that is a combination of energy eigenstates to the Hamiltonian describing a particle-in-a-box with v(x)?=?0 ( $\Rightarrow\hat{f}=0$ ), the result that the b.t. is equal to the mean value of the external classical force operator for the particle-in-an-infinite-square-well-potential is obtained, i.e., $\mathrm{d}\langle\hat{p}\rangle/\mathrm{d}t$ is equal to $\langle\hat{F}\rangle$ . Moreover, the b.t. is written as the mean value of a quantity that is called boundary quantum force, f B. Thus, the Ehrenfest theorem for a particle-in-a-box can be completed with the formula $\mathrm{d}\langle\hat{p}\rangle/\mathrm{d}t=\langle{{f_\mathrm{B}}}\rangle$ .  相似文献

The structure of the core of a $1/6\langle 2\overline 1 \overline 1 0\rangle $ superpartial dislocation in the prism plane of the D019 superlattice is studied by computer simulation. Atomic interaction potentials for Ti3Al are derived with the embedded atom method. The core of the superpartial dislocation is found to have three different configurations (of I′, I, and II types) in nonequivalent prism planes $\{ 0\overline 1 10\} $ . For screw and edge dislocations, the core is planar in type-I′ prism planes and nonplanar in prism planes of type I and II. Results of simulation are compared with experimental data for the superdislocation mobility in Ti3Al.  相似文献

The rapidity distributions of inclusive \(e^ + e^ - \to h\bar h + \cdot \cdot \cdot\) of PEP and DESY experiments are analyzed in terms of the covariant partition temperatureT p model. The estimates ofT p * in the fireball system are comparable to the conventional temperature, the energy dependence follows approximately Stefan's law, the radius of the specific volume ralative to the energy density being ~1.18 fm. In the c.m.s. of collision, \(T_p = AW^a (W = \sqrt s in GeV)\) witha=0.60±0.05 andA=0.256±0.006, it is found \(T_p \cong {W \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {W {\tfrac{3}{2}\left\langle {n_ \pm } \right\rangle }}} \right. \kern-0em} {\tfrac{3}{2}\left\langle {n_ \pm } \right\rangle }}\) . These properties hold also for \(\bar pp\) collision, but not forpp→π?+...  相似文献

We analyze the phenomenon of heavy quark condensation within the framework of the QCD sum rule approach. We discuss two alternative expansions for massive quark condensates. The first one (heavy to light quark expansion), introduced by Broadhurst and Generalis, establishes a connection between the heavy and light quark worlds. The other one (heavy quark expansion) is valid when only heavy quark systems are considered. As a byproduct we have obtained the coefficients of \(\left\langle {\bar qq} \right\rangle \) , \(\left\langle {\bar qGq} \right\rangle \) , 〈G 2〉 and 〈G 3〉 for all bilinear currents.  相似文献

We study the one-dimensional random dimer model, with Hamiltonian H ω =Δ+V ω , where for all x $\mathbb{Z}$ , V ω(2x)=V ω(2x+1) and where the V ω(2x) are i.i.d. Bernoulli random variables taking the values ±V, V>0. We show that, for all values of Vand with probability one in ω, the spectrum of His pure point. If V≤1 and V≠1/ $\sqrt 2$ , the Lyapunov exponent vanishes only at the two critical energies given by EV. For the particular value V=1/ $\sqrt 2$ , respectively, V= $\sqrt 2$ , we show the existence of new additional critical energies at E=±3/ $\sqrt 2$ , respectively, E=0. On any compact interval Inot containing the critical energies, the eigenfunctions are then shown to be semi-uniformly exponentially localized, and this implies dynamical localization: for all q>0 and for all ψ $\ell$ 2( $\mathbb{Z}$ ) with sufficiently rapid decrease $${\mathop {\sup }\limits_t} r_{\psi ,I}^{\left( q \right)} {\kern 1pt} \left( t \right): = {\mathop {\sup }\limits_t} \left\langle {P_I \left( {H\omega } \right)\psi _t ,\left| X \right|^q P_I \left( {H\omega } \right)\psi _t } \right\rangle < \infty $$ Here $\psi _t = e^{- iH_{\omega ^t}} \psi$ , and P I(H ω) is the spectral projector of H ωonto the interval I. In particular, if V>1 and V $\sqrt 2$ , these results hold on the entire spectrum [so that one can take I=σ(H ω)].  相似文献

Solvable vertex models in statistical mechanics give rise to soliton cellular automata at q=0 in a ferromagnetic regime. By means of the crystal base theory we study a class of such automata associated with non-exceptional quantum affine algebras U′ $_q$ ( $\widehat {\mathfrak{g}}$ $_n$ ). Let B $_l$ be the crystal of the U′ $_q$ ( $\widehat {\mathfrak{g}}$ $_n$ )-module corresponding to the l-fold symmetric fusion of the vector representation. For any crystal of the form B = $B_{l_1 }$ ? ...? $B_{l_N }$ , we prove that the combinatorial R matrix B $_M$ ?B $\widetilde \to$ B?B $_M$ is factorized into a product of Weyl group operators in a certain domain if M is sufficiently large. It implies the factorization of certain transfer matrix at q=0, hence the time evolution in the associated cellular automata. The result generalizes the ball-moving algorithm in the box-ball systems.  相似文献

The coefficients of an expansion series in the hopping coefficients are determined. This allows to calculate \(\left\langle {\bar \Psi \Psi } \right\rangle\) analytically for any coupling constant and fermion mass in 1+1 dimensions.  相似文献

A comparison of multiplicity distributions and \(\left\langle {P_T^2 } \right\rangle of \bar pp\) annihilation reactions at two energies ande + e ?→hadrons leads to a model for \(\bar pp\) annihilation into gluons. The \(\bar pp\) data are consistent with the QCD predictions for the ratio of the moments of the fragmentation functions given for isolated gluon jets. The energy dependence of the ratio of the moments is also consistent with the predictions.  相似文献

The fireball formed in a heavy ion collision is characterized by the impact parameter vector $\vec b$ , which is orthogonal to the beam direction and can be determined from the multiplicity and the angular distribution of the reaction products. By appropriate rotations the $\vec b$ vectors of each collision can be oriented into a fixed direction. Using the measured values of the momentum distributions of the vector mesons an integral equation can be formulated for the unknown emission densities $(E_M (\vec r))$ and for the unknown absorption densities $(\Delta \mu _M (\vec r,p))$ of the different vector mesons $M( \equiv \omega ^0 ,\rho ^0 ,\phi ^0 ,\psi ^0 ,\psi ^{0'} ,\Upsilon )$ .  相似文献
