一种用于密集波分复用系统中的可调谐液晶法布里-珀罗滤光片 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
基于液晶分子的双折射特性,设计并制作了一种结构简单的可用于波分复用系统中的可调谐液晶法布里-珀罗滤光片。对器件的光谱调谐特性进行了分析和模拟,并得到了液晶分子的折射率调制与其分子在电场作用下产生的转动角度之间的关系式。最后,对所设计的结构进行了制作和实验,测试结果显示了滤光片的性能受液晶分子的排列特性和法布里-珀罗腔的反射镜参量的影响较大,同时实验表明了这种利用向列型液晶分子作为法布里-珀罗腔内介质的可调谐滤光片在加电压调试下其调谐性能良好,调谐范围可覆盖C波段,透过峰的半峰全宽达到了0.8nm,实验结果与设计相吻合。 相似文献

在电调谐液晶法布里一珀罗腔滤波器的连续调谐过程中,存在“透射峰跳跃”现象,影响器件的单调调谐性。为了改善器件的单调调谐性能,对此现象进行了分析,表明这是由于法布里—珀罗腔干涉级次在调谐过程中发生改变引起的;进而给出了法布里一珀罗腔透射波长λ,干涉级次m与腔内介质折射率n的关系,以及器件实际的有效调谐范围。当腔长为10μm、折射率差为0.05时,就可以使器件的单调调谐范围达到整个C波段。数值模拟与实验结果相吻合。并针对改善器件的单调调谐性能,提出了几种可行的方案。 相似文献

利用向列相液晶材料的电控双折射效应,研制了用于可见光波段光谱调谐的大口径液晶可调滤光片,透过光谱测试表明,该滤光片在可见光波段(420~700 nm)以20 nm光谱分辨率可实现连续调谐和任意波长选择。利用该滤光片搭建了一种小型光谱成像系统,并在实验室内对若干样品进行了测试,结果表明,该系统可同时实现高图像分辨率和高光谱分辨率光谱成像,具备高、超光谱分辨率光谱成像的应用潜力,在生物医学、环境保护和资源探测等领域具有较好的应用前景。 相似文献

We demonstrate an electrically tunable Sagnac filter based on a photonic bandgap fiber that is realized by infusing liquid crystal into a solid-core air-hole photonic crystal fiber. The filter enables an electrical tuning with a range of about 26 nm for one single interference minimum in the transmission bandgap from 1330 to 1650 nm wavelength. A novel free-spectral range (FSR) tunable Fabry-Perot filter (FPF) with two superimposed fiber Bragg gratings (SFBGs) is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The SFBGs, initially uniform in period with slightly different Bragg wavelengths, were glued onto the lateral surface of a specially-designed cantilever beam and linearly chirped by beam bending-induced strain gradient. As a result, their reflection bands overlap and a grating-based FPF with a tunable FSR is formed. A continuously tunable FSR of 0.1-0.5 nm has been achieved in the experiment. 相似文献

A voltage controlled multiple-stage tunable filter with broad continuous tuning range was studied in theory and experiment. Four liquid crystal retarders, two quartz plates with certain integral ratio phase retardations and five polarization films were assembled into a traditional Lyot filter. The tunable function was achieved by using the electro-birefringence effect of liquid crystal. The result of numerical simulation showed that the spectral resolution was ∼10 nm around bands of 500-700 nm; side forms rejection ratio and FWHM changed in contrast to considering and not considering the birefringence dispersion effect of liquid crystal and quartz; the shape of filtered light displayed by spectral photometer would be affected by spectrum bands of light source in spectral photometer. A four-stage tunable filter was made and tested, experiment results agreed with the numerical simulation results very well, the research results could be applied as reference for the study of broad spectrum tunable filters. 相似文献

By combining two well-established techniques--multispectral imaging with a tunable filter and regularized data inversion--a fast and accurate method for measuring, at each pixel of a CCD array, the spectrum emitted by a radiating object is obtained. The method is demonstrated with ruby R(1)- and R(2)-line fluorescence, using a narrowband tilt-tunable Fabry-Perot interference filter for data acquisition. Since the data inversion problem is badly ill conditioned, regularization is essential to obtain meaningful results. The reconstruction is capable of a peak wavelength accuracy of 0.01 nm, sufficient to measure the small wavelength shifts encountered in rubylike materials due to changes in the local crystal lattice stress. Thus, the technique presents a novel approach to piezospectroscopic imaging and offers 2 to 3 orders of magnitude faster mapping of local stress than current techniques. 相似文献

A variation in the thickness of a biomembrane based on liquid crystal is experimentally studied in the presence of external electric field using a low-Q-factor Fabry-Perot interferometer. Variation in the thickness of the membrane is determined with the aid of the interference pattern of the reflected beam with an accuracy of up to 0.1 Å. The nonlinear elasticity of the liquid crystal is determined from the experimental data. Chaotic fluctuations of the membrane are observed at a certain threshold voltage. 相似文献
