设计了一种阈值较低的太阳光直接抽运的Nd∶YAG固体激光器,采用有效面积为1.03m2、焦距为1.2 m的菲涅耳透镜为第1级太阳光会聚装置,分腔水冷型镀金锥形腔为第2级太阳光会聚装置。在液体导光透镜和镀金锥形腔的共同作用下,通过端面、侧面同时抽运直径为5 mm、长度为75 mm的Nd∶YAG螺纹晶体棒,获得了连续稳定的1064nm激光输出。利用光学设计软件ZEMAX和激光谐振腔仿真软件LASCAD建立理论模型,通过数值模拟验证实验结果并优化系统设计。该太阳光抽运Nd∶YAG固体激光器的激光输出功率最高为31.5 W,收集效率为30.58 W/m2,激光器阈值功率为102 W,斜率效率为4.25%,太阳光到激光的能量转换效率为3.2%。  相似文献

 为了实现高可靠、窄脉宽、高峰值功率激光输出,采用侧面泵浦技术和电光调Q技术,设计出一种激光二极管侧面泵浦电光调Q全固态绿光激光器。采用结构简单、紧凑的平-平腔设计,其端镜和输出镜均为平面镜,获得较稳定的侧面泵浦Nd∶YAG腔外倍频KTP脉冲绿光激光输出。当泵浦电流为120A,重复频率为600Hz时,获得脉冲绿光的最高输出平均功率为3.62W,1064nm到532nm的转换效率为15.3%,其脉宽为21ns,峰值功率为300kW, 单脉冲能量为6.01mJ。实验结果表明:该激光器稳定性可靠,输出激光脉宽较窄、峰值功率高。  相似文献

太阳光直接泵浦固体激光器相对于传统二极管泵浦激光器具有能耗低、效率高等优势,在大气传感、深空通信及国防安全等重要领域具有极大的应用潜力,战略意义重大。本文综述了太阳光直接泵浦固体激光器的阳光收集光学系统、增益介质及泵浦系统设计的国内外研究进展,揭示了其与激光输出质量及光转化效率提升的定向关联。提出在太阳光直接泵浦固体激光器发展中,高汇聚效率及高功率的激光输出是核心研究目标,而高品质增益介质是实现上述目标的关键所在。最后,展望了太阳光直接泵浦固体激光器的未来发展趋势。  相似文献

针对机载激光测距及激光指示应用需求,设计了一种紧凑可靠的电光调Q脉冲激光器。从调Q速率方程出发,分析了激光器输出能量随优化参数z增大而增大、脉宽随z增大而减小的关系。采用?6 mm×56 mm的Nd:YAG激光晶体,LD侧面泵浦,角锥棱镜作为折光器的u形折叠式非稳腔,在增益满足的前提下,提高谐振腔抗失调能力。在注入电脉冲1.2 J条件下,激光器单脉冲能量输出为108 mJ,脉冲宽度为11.8 ns,能量不稳定度 < 0.8%;光-光效率18%,可长时间稳定运行。  相似文献

为了简化激光器冷却系统,减小体积,降低成本,设计出一种基于水、风混合型的冷却系统,具有水冷和风冷的优点,可以实现稳定的绿光激光输出.采用结构简单、紧凑的平-凹腔设计,其端镜为平面镜,输出镜为凹面镜,曲率半径R=1 m,腔长L=165 mm,获得较稳定的单端泵浦Nd:YVO4腔内倍频KTP连续绿光激光输出.当晶体吸收的泵浦功率为24.3 W时,532 nm激光功率达到4.2 W,光-光转换效率达到17.2%.在绿光输出功率为3 W的情况下,观测到的变化范围在2.5%左右,温度变化范围在0.1°左右.实验结果表明,该冷却系统能够较好地转移晶体热效应产生的热量,实现转化效率较高的绿光输出,有利于实现高功率激光器的微型化.  相似文献

为了选择适合太阳光泵浦的激光材料,本文从四能级速率方程出发,综合考虑了太阳辐射带状光谱特性和激光材料对泵浦光吸收能力,建立了太阳光泵浦固体激光理论模型。利用该模型推导得到了单束光侧面泵浦和椭球腔侧面泵浦方式下的泵浦阈值表达式,并结合Nd~3+∶YAG、Nd~3+∶glass、Nd~3+∶Cr~3+∶GSGG(Nd~3+∶Cr~3+∶Gd_3Sc_2Ga_3O_12)、Cr~3+∶BeAl_2O_4和Cr~3+∶Nd~3+∶YAG等激光材料的光谱参数,计算了这些材料的泵浦阈值光强。结果表明:在单束光侧面泵浦和椭球腔侧面泵浦方式下,Nd~3+∶YAG的泵浦阈值光强分别为448个太阳常数和224个太阳常数,是比较适合用太阳光泵浦的激光材料。由于椭球腔的特殊结构,采用椭球腔侧面泵浦激光介质,阈值光强比较低。分析了泵浦阈值光强与材料直径的关系。该模型可用于从现有的激光材料中筛选出在太阳光泵浦下最易输出激光的工作物质。  相似文献

本文报道在国内首次实现的LD泵浦的四倍频连续紫外激光器的实验结果.首先研究了LD泵浦的Nd:YVO4激光器,在普通平-平腔结构下,得到斜效率55.68%,激光输出波长1064nm;利用KTP作为倍频晶体,实现腔内倍频,在泵浦功率11.85W时得到绿光(532nm)输出1.35W,光-光转换效率11%;用BBO晶体进行外腔谐振倍频,得到紫外光(266nm)输出.  相似文献

2μm激光器作为中波红外固体激光器的泵浦源方案之一,由于可以获得较高的中波红外激光输出,因此逐渐得到重视。设计了一种基于1 940nm光纤激光器泵浦的高平均功率准连续Ho∶YLF激光器,并对其进行了实验研究,表明在Ho离子掺杂浓度0.5%、晶体长度35mm、晶体控温20℃时,采用双棒串接、平凹腔L型结构获得了36 W的准连续2.067μm激光输出,其最高光光转换效率为51.4%,重复频率20kHz,脉冲宽度121ns,谱线宽度小于3nm。实验结果验证了采用1 940nm光纤激光器泵浦作为泵浦Ho∶YLF获得高功率准连续2μm激光的可行性。  相似文献

为LDA侧面泵浦Nd∶YAG棒状固体激光器的优化设计、参数选取及后续试验提供了理论依据和参考,建立了环形侧面泵浦棒状介质泵浦光场分布数值计算模型,研究了LDA侧面泵浦固体Nd∶YAG激光器泵浦光场的分布特点。模拟分析了LDA的bar间距、玻璃管厚度、激光晶体半径等几个主要泵浦结构参数对泵浦光场分布的影响。通过对不同泵浦参数下泵浦光分布特性的数值计算,优化了LDA侧面泵浦固体激光器的泵浦结构参数,优化后的仿真结果表明:在泵浦距离为2 mm条件下,晶体直径为4 mm,玻璃管套筒厚度为1 mm,冷却水层厚度为1 mm时,泵浦光在晶体中心处强度相对值为40.8%,在晶体轴心附近分布比较均匀,且均匀分布区域相对较大。  相似文献

采用高功率激光二极管阵列(LDA)端面泵浦Nd:YAG激光棒方式, 结合凸凹非稳腔的设计,获得20 Hz运转条件下小束散角激光输出平均能量约为83 mJ。以该激光为振荡源,同样采用LDA端面泵浦Nd:YAG激光棒的方式进行能量放大,组成LDA端面泵浦振荡-放大(MOPA)激光器,最终获得重频频率20 Hz、平均能量>200 mJ、发散角<2.1 mrad、能量波动<±2.5%的脉冲激光输出。该激光器光光转换效率约为14.6%,体积为175×91×49 mm3,质量<1 kg,激光经8倍发射天线后发散角<0.3 mrad。  相似文献

A high-average-power conduction-cooled diode-pumped Nd:YLF rod laser has been developed. A new conduction-cooled side-pumping scheme with a solid prismatic pump-light confinement cavity was employed. A transparent, high-thermal-conductivity MgF>(2) prism was used as a highly efficient pump cavity as well as a low-thermal-resistance heat spreader. The pumping efficiency and thermal resistance of the cavity were 85% and 0.20 degrees C degrees W, respectively. When this scheme was combined with heat pipes for heat removal, a maximum average output power of 72 W was demonstrated, with an optical slope efficiency as high as 49%.  相似文献

We have designed and realized a cw all-fiber tunable Yb-doped double-clad fiber laser in a unidirectional ring cavity. The side-pumping V-groove technique is used, yielding very good launching efficiency of the high-power pumping laser diode, together with a compact configuration. The fiber laser delivers as much as 800 mW of power and is tunable in the spectral range 1.04-1.10 microm . The laser linewidth is ~0.1 nm .  相似文献

报道了一种适合中小功率输出的全固态激光器的角抽运方法, 抽运光从板条激光器中板条晶体的角部入射, 可获得较高的抽运效率和较好的抽运均匀性.采用单角抽运方式, 首次进行了角抽运Nd:YAG复合板条946 nm连续运转激光器的实验研究. 激光腔采用紧凑型平凹直腔结构, 腔长仅为20 mm. 当注入抽运功率为50 W时, 946 nm激光连续输出功率最高达5.29 W, 光光转换效率为10.6%, 斜效率为12%. 整台激光器结构紧凑, 调谐简单, 成本低, 具有广阔的应用前景. 关键词: 角抽运 Nd:YAG晶体 连续波 946 nm激光  相似文献

A new compact high efficient diode-double-passing-pumped Tm:YLF laser at room temperature is presented. Using a crystal of 3 mm × 3 mm × 12 mm 4% doping Tm:YLF and double-end-double-passing pumping cavity structure without complex optical splitter pumping system, 5.6 W CW 1907.6 nm laser is obtained at 26.2 W 792 nm pumping laser. The slope efficiency is as high as 37.8% and the spectrum width is 2 nm. The relationship between cavity length and output laser is also analyzed. Experiments verify that the highest energy and convertion efficiency can be reached by optimizing the oscillator cavity length. Finally, we used this Tm:YLF laser to pump Ho:YAG crystal at room temperature and achieved 1.65 W 2.1 μm output laser with slope efficiency 67%.  相似文献

The optimization of the pumping power that is focused on a gain medium inside an optical cavity is fundamental for increasing the efficiency of the power transferred inside a crystal, in this way increasing the output power of the laser. Nevertheless, in the case of pumping with a highly astigmatic laser diode, an undesirable form of the beam is focused on the cavity and the process to improve the cross section and sizes of the beam produce a notable reduction in the effective pump power ultimately focused in the crystal. The cavity design improvements for a Cr:LiSAF laser pumped with a 200 um × 1 um laser diode emission is presented for three different configurations, Z, V, and ring. The pump power is introduced in the cavity through a simple optical array, coupling more than 83% of the laser-diode power. The design requirements for the resonant cavity are reviewed in order to improve the coupling between the fundamental mode of the cavity and the cross-section form of the pumping beam. The stability limits of the cavities and Kerr sensitivity region are presented.  相似文献

太阳光抽运激光器中,抽运系统提供的太阳抽运光与激活晶体之间的耦合决定了激光输出的总体效率。使用Tracepro软件,建立了菲涅耳透镜、锥形抽运腔二级抽运系统模型,并对该系统进行优化。通过分析菲涅耳透镜焦斑能量沿轴线的分布,得到了锥形腔入射窗口的口径和窗口距菲涅耳透镜的距离。通过改变锥形抽运腔的腔长和锥度,分析晶体棒轴向抽运功率密度分布,得到了锥形腔的最佳结构,并对镜面反射腔和陶瓷腔进行了详细的介绍。  相似文献

To clarify the advantages of Cr:Nd:YAG ceramics rods in solar-pumped lasers, a fused silica light guide with rectangular cross-section is coupled to a compound V-shaped cavity within which a 7 mm diameter 0.1 at.% Cr:1.0 at.% Nd:YAG ceramic rod is uniformly pumped. The highly concentrated solar radiation at the focal spot of a 2 m diameter stationary parabolic mirror is transformed into a uniform pump radiation by the light guide. Efficient pump light absorption is achieved by pumping uniformly the ceramic rod within the V-shaped cavity. Optimum pumping parameters and solar laser output powers are found through ZEMAX© non-sequential ray-tracing and LASCAD© laser cavity analysis codes. 33.6 W continuous-wave laser power is measured, corresponding to 1.32 times enhancement over our previous results with a 4 mm diameter Nd:YAG single-crystal rod. High slope efficiency of 2.6 % is also registered. The solar laser output performances of both the ceramic and the single-crystal rods are finally compared, revealing the relative advantage of the Cr:Nd:YAG rod in conversion efficiency. Low scattering coefficient of 0.0018 cm?1 is deduced for the ceramic rod. Heat load is considered as a key factor affecting the ceramic laser output performance.  相似文献

Efficient and stable continuous-wave (CW) laser operation at 1053 nm in a Nd-doped phosphate single-mode fiber (Nd:PSMF) has been demonstrated experimentally. The fiber laser consisted of a 21 cm Nd:PSMF placed in a F-P cavity formed by high reflector butt-coupled to coupling end of the fiber and Fresnel reflection of the other end facet. An output power of 1.42 W and a slope efficiency of 34.1% (18.4%) with respect to absorbed pump power (incident pump power) were obtained with 808 nm diode pumping. An increment as much as 9.7 and 15.0% in slope efficiency of the input coupling efficiency and the output power, respectively, were obtained by using a local-cooling design provided by watered sealing the coupling point. The repeatable results indicate that the design, featuring fluid sealing the coupling point of the fiber laser, which was capable of offering an effective alleviation of thermal effects and an elevation of the quality of the laser cavity, could be expected to be a convenient and effective scheme to improve the performance characteristics of the non-silica fiber lasers and the high power fiber lasers, generally in free-space coupling configuration.  相似文献

We have developed theoretical model to investigate characters of fused angle-polished side-pumping coupler for monolithic fiber lasers and amplifiers. In the simulation the interplay of different couplers is considered. Five pumping fibers with different polished angles are employed in the experiment. The results showed that, the backward coupling efficiency, forward and backward pumping leakage are lower than 4%, 8% and 10% respectively, while the forward coupling efficiency is about 100%, with the polished angle suitable for commercial fibers. The experimental results agree well with the simulations. Furthermore, we fabricate a two-points co-propagating fused angle-polished side-pumping coupler, with the coupling efficiency of 94.1% and 87.9%. These couplers are quite suitable for multi-points side-pumping high power monolithic fiber lasers and amplifiers.  相似文献
