YBa2Cu3O7?x (Y123) films with quantitatively controlled artificial nanoprecipitate pinning centers were grown by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) and characterized by transport over wide temperature (T) and magnetic field (H) ranges and by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The critical current density Jc was found to be determined by the interplay of strong vortex pinning and thermally activated depinning (TAD), which together produced a non-monotonic dependence of Jc on c-axis pin spacing dc. At low T and H, Jc increased with decreasing dc, reaching the very high Jc  48 MA/cm2 ~20% of the depairing current density Jd at 10 K, self-field and dc  10 nm, but at higher T and H when TAD effects become significant, Jc was optimized at larger dc because longer vortex segments confined between nanoprecipitates are less prone to thermal fluctuations. We conclude that precipitates should extend at least several coherence lengths along vortices in order to produce irreversibility fields Hirr(77 K) greater than 7 T and maximum bulk pinning forces Fp,max(77 K) greater than 7–8 GN/m3 (values appropriate for H parallel to the c-axis). Our results show that there is no universal pin array that optimizes Jc at all T and H.  相似文献

Correlation of phase formation, critical transition temperature Tc, microstructure, and critical current density Jc with sintering temperature has been studied for acetone doped MgB2/Fe tapes. Sintering was performed at 600–850 °C for 1 h in a flowing Ar atmosphere. High boron substitution by carbon was obtained with increasing the sintering temperature; however, the acetone doped samples synthesized at 800 °C contain large size MgB2 grains and more MgO impurities. Incomplete reaction for the acetone doped samples heated at 600 °C result in bad intergrain connectivity. At 4.2 K, the best Jc value was achieved in the acetone doped sample sintered at 700 °C, which reached 24,000 A/cm2 at 10 T and 10,000 A/cm2 at 12 T, respectively. Our results indicate that the small grain size and less impurity were also important for the improvement of JcB properties besides the substitutions of B by C.  相似文献

The critical current density Jc of some of the superconducting samples, calculated on the basis of the Bean’s model, shows negative curvature for low magnetic field with a downward bending near H = 0. To avoid this problem Kim’s expression of the critical current density, Jc = k/(H0 + H), where Jc has positive curvature for all H, has been employed by connecting the positive constants k and H0 with the features of the hysteresis loop of a superconductor. A relation between the full penetration field Hp and the magnetic field Hmin, at which the magnetization is minimum, is obtained from the Kim’s theory. Taking the value of Jc at H = Hp according to the actual loop width, as in the Bean’s theory, and at H = 0 according to an enhanced loop width due to the local internal field, values of k and H0 are obtained in terms of the magnetization values M+(?Hmin), M?(Hmin), M+(Hp) and M?(Hp). The resulting method of estimating Jc from the hysteresis loop turns out to be as simple as the Bean’s method.  相似文献

Mg0.9Ti0.1B2/Cu wires have been successfully synthesized by the powder-in-tube (PIT) technique combined with the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) method in an unsealed furnace. The analysis includes the studies of the sample microstructure, phase composition, critical transition temperature Tc and critical current density Jc. The experiments show that the PIT technique combined with the SHS method is effective in reducing the Mg volatilization and oxidation. There is little reaction between Mg and Cu in the SHS process, but with the MgCu2 and CuO phases, the reaction does occur in the inner sheath wall of the copper tube. The findings also indicate that there is little MgO in the sample. The sample has a very strong flux pinning ability at the low magnetic fields since the TiB2 phase may prevent the growth of MgB2 grains and lead to a favorable effect on grain refinement. The wires exhibit a high critical current density, e.g. 2.7 × 105 A/cm2 in the 1.0 T field at 4.2 K and 1.3 × 105 A/cm2 in the 2.0 T field at 4.2 K.  相似文献

(Gd,Y)Ba2Cu3Ox tapes have been fabricated by metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) with Zr-doping levels of 0–15 mol.% and Ce doping levels of 0–10 mol.% in 0.4 μm thick films. The critical current density (Jc) of Zr-doped samples at 77 K, 1 T applied in the orientation of H 6 c is found to increase with Zr content and shows a maximum at 7.5% Zr doping. The 7.5% Zr-doped sample exhibits a critical current density (Jc) of 0.95 MA/cm2 at H 6 c which is more than 70% higher than the Jc of the undoped sample. The peak in Jc at H 6 c is 83% of that at H 6 ab in the 7.5% Zr-doped sample which is more than twice as that in the undoped sample. Superconducting transition temperature (Tc) values as high as about 89 K have been achieved in samples even with 15% Zr and 10% Ce. Ce-doped samples with and without Ba compensation are found to exhibit substantially different Jc values as well as angular dependence characteristics.  相似文献

The co-doped MgB2 bulk samples have been synthesized using an in situ reaction processing. The additives is 8 wt.% SiC nano powders and 10 wt.% [(CH2CHCOO)2Zn]n poly zinc acrylate complexes (PZA). A systematic study was performed on samples doped with SiC or PZA and samples co-doped with both of them. The effects of doping and co-doping on phase formation, microstructure, and the variation of lattice parameters were studied. The amount of substituted carbon, the critical temperature (Tc) and the critical current density (Jc) were determined. The calculated lattice parameters show the decrease of the a-axis, while no obvious change was detected for c-axis parameter in co-doped samples. This indicates that the carbon was substituted by boron in MgB2. The amount of substituted carbon for the co-doped sample shows an enhancement compared to that of the both single doped samples. The co-doped samples perform the highest Jc values, which reaches 3.3 × 104 A/cm2 at 5 K and 7 T. It is shown that co-doping with SiC and organic compound is an effective way to further improve the superconducting properties of MgB2.  相似文献

Low-field ac measurements of magnetic susceptibility of YBa2Cu3O7 high-temperature superconducting thin film were carried out over a wide range of temperatures and ac magnetic field amplitudes. A strong field dependence of the real χ′ and imaginary χ″ components was observed. The field dependence of the imaginary component is used to extract the temperature dependence of the critical current density in the sample using the critical state model. The exponent β of the power law relation Jc  (1 ? T/Tc)β was determined from ac-susceptibility data and different values were found. Experimental results are compared with predictions of some existing theoretical models describing the ac response of superconducting thin film in perpendicular ac field.  相似文献

We report the achievement of transport critical currents in Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 wires and tapes with a Tc = 34 K. The wires and tapes were fabricated through an in situ powder-in-tube process. Silver was used as a chemical addition as well as a sheath material. All the wire and tape samples have shown the ability to transport superconducting current. Critical current density Jc was enhanced upon silver addition, and at 4.2 K, a largest Jc of ~1200 A/cm2 (Ic = 9 A) was achieved for 20% silver added tapes, which is the highest in iron-based wires and tapes so far. The Jc is almost field independent between 1 T and 10 T, exhibiting a strong vortex pinning. Such a high transport critical current density is attributed to the weak reaction between the silver sheath and the superconducting core, as well as an improved connectivity between grains. We also identify a weak-link behavior from the apparent drop of Jc at low fields and a hysteretic phenomenon. Finally, we found that compared to Fe, Ta and Nb tubes, Ag was the best sheath material for the fabrication of high-performance 122 type pnictide wires and tapes.  相似文献

Magnetisation and magneto-resistance measurements have been carried out on superconducting Ba1?xKxFe2As2 samples with x = 0.40 and 0.50. From high field magnetization hysteresis measurements carried out in fields up to 16 T at 4.2 K and 20 K, the critical current density has been evaluated using the Bean critical state model. The JC determined from the high field data is >104 A/cm2 at 4.2 K and 5 T. The superconducting transitions were also measured resistively in increasing applied magnetic fields up to 12 T. From the variation of the TC onset with applied field, dHC2/dT at TC was obtained to be ?7.708 T/K and ?5.57 T/K in the samples with x = 0.40 and 0.50.  相似文献

Oxygen deficiency, thermal and chemical expansion of La0.5Sr0.5Fe1−xCoxO3−δ (x = 0, 0.5, 1) have been measured by thermogravimetry, dilatometry and high temperature X-ray diffraction. The rhombohedral perovskite materials transformed to a cubic structure at 350 ± 50 °C. The thermal expansion of the materials up to the onset of thermal reduction was 14–18 × 10 6 K 1. Above 500 °C in air (400 °C in N2), chemical expansion contributed to the thermal expansion and the linear thermal expansion coefficients were significantly higher, 16–35 × 10 6 K 1. The chemical expansion, εc, showed a maximum of 0.0045 for x = 0.5 and 0.0041 for x = 1 at 800–900 °C. The normalized chemical expansion, εcδ, was 0.036 for x = 0.5 and 0.035 for x = 1 at 800 °C. The chemical expansion can be correlated with an increasing ionic radius of the transition metals with decreasing valence state.  相似文献

We have prepared high-quality polycrystalline FeTe1?xSex by sintering at different temperatures and characterized their structural and magnetic properties with X-ray diffraction, magnetization measurements, and magneto-optical imaging. The intragranular Jc was estimated to be 5 × 104 A/cm2, which is smaller than the single crystal, but still in the range for practical applications.  相似文献

The 5d transition metal W was added into the MgB2 superconductor. The Mg, B and W were sintered at 1173 K for 30 min under H2/Ar atmosphere in the electric furnace. The Wx(MgB2)1?x samples were prepared in the W concentration range of 0 ? x ? 0.05. Temperature and field dependences of magnetization were measured by the SQUID magneto-meter. The field and x dependences of Jc at 20 K were analyzed by the extended critical state model. The enhancement of Jc became maximum for the x = 0.02 sample.  相似文献

High critical current density YBa2Cu3O7?x (YBCO) films were prepared by solution deposition of aqueous non-fluorine precursors. Non-fluorine polymer-assisted deposition (PAD) processes utilizing rheology modifiers and chelating agents were used to produce 50 nm films with a critical current density (Jc) over 3 MA/cm2 and 400 nm films with Jc > 1 MA/cm2. Tc measurements indicated that films have Tc values near 90 K. The total heat treatment time to produce these high performance films was less than 4 h. Rheology modifiers such as polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) were used to increase the thickness of deposited films independent of the solution cation concentration. Chelating agents such as polyethylene glycol (PEG) and sucrose increased the barium ion solubility. Nitrate crystallization during deposition was controlled through rapid drying with vacuum and coating with hot solutions.  相似文献

The decomposition of dimethyl ether (CH3OCH3) has been investigated behind incident shock waves in a diaphragmless shock tube using laser schlieren densitometry, LS (T = 1500–2450 K, P = 57 ± 4, 125 ± 5 and 253 ± 12 Torr). The LS density gradient profiles were simulated and excellent agreement was found between the simulations and experimental profiles. Rate coefficients for CH3OCH3  CH3O + CH3 were obtained. They showed strong fall-off, and at the lower end of the experimental temperature range are close to the low pressure limit. First order rate coefficient expressions were determined over 1500 < T < 2450 K. k57Torr = (3.10 ± 1.0) × 1079T?19.03 exp(?54417/T) s?1, k125Torr = (1.12 ± 0.3) × 1083T?19.94 exp(?55554/T) s?1and k253Torr = (1.02 ± 0.3) × 1073T?17.09 exp(?51500/T) s?1. The effect of a roaming channel for decomposition of dimethyl ether was assessed and the best agreement was obtained with 1% dissociation of DME via the roaming path.  相似文献

Inelastic neutron scattering has been performed on powder sample of an iron-based superconductor BaFe2(As0.65P0.35)2 with superconducting transition temperature (Tc) = 30 K, whose superconducting (SC) order parameter is expected to have line node. In the normal state, constant-E scan of dynamical structure factor, S(Q, E), exhibits a peak structure centered at momentum transfer Q  1.20 Å?1, corresponding to antiferromagnetic wave vector. Below Tc, the redistribution of the magnetic spectral weight takes place, resulting in the formation of a peak at E  12 meV and a gap below 6 meV. The enhanced magnetic peak structure is ascribed to the spin resonance mode, evidencing sign change in the SC order parameter similar to other iron-based high-Tc superconductors. It suggests that fully-gapped s± symmetry dominates in this superconductor, which gives rise to high-Tc (=30 K) despite the nodal symmetry.  相似文献

Isothermal magnetization M(t) in nanocrystalline single-phase B1 MoCy encapsulated in multiwall carbon nanocages is studied within the time window of 100 < t < 5000 s. The current density J exhibits a linear logarithmic time decay. The effective activation energy Ueff increases linearly with increasing temperature T, and decreases linearly with increasing J. The behaviors of J(t), Ueff(T), and Ueff(J) can be described by the Anderson–Kim flux-creep model for thermally activated motion of uncorrelated vortices or vortex bundles over a net potential barrier Ueff. The slower relaxation of current density above the broad peak field in the isothermal magnetization curves suggests that the peak is a result of vortex dynamics.  相似文献

The properties of discontinuous aligned pinning centers (PCs) created by high-energy heavy-ions are compared for bulk melt-textured and coated conductor HTS. Properties of PCs, which increase Jc (pinning potential and entanglement), and negative properties which decrease Jc (e.g., decreased Tc and percolation paths) are evaluated. Mechanisms are proposed to explain the very large increases in Jc resulting from multiple-in-line-damage (MILD) compared to continuous columnar pinning centers (CCPC). In particular, a mechanism which results in fluxoid entanglement, even for parallel (unsplayed) PCs, is discussed. The same mechanism is found to also account for restoration of much of the pinning potential expected to be lost due to the gaps in MILD PCs. It also accounts for the fact that at high fluence, Jc increases as fluence is increased, instead of decreasing as expected. The very low self-field in coated conductor permits separation of the negative and positive effects of PCs. It is found that parameters developed to quantify the negative effects in bulk melt-textured YBCO, by 63 GeV U238 ions, successfully describe damage to 2.1 μm thick coated conductor by 1 GeV Ru44 ions. Coated conductor at 77 K and self-field is generally known to have Jc about 100 times that of melt-textured YBCO. However, at 77 K and applied field of 1 T, when both forms of HTS are processed with comparable numbers of near-optimum MILD PCs, the difference in Jc is reduced to a factor of 1.3–2. Whereas Jc for melt-textured YBCO increased sharply, by a factor of up to 16.8 for high-fluence MILD PCs, Jc in coated conductor increased by a smaller factor of 2.5–3.0. Nevertheless, 2.1 μm thick coated conductor, with near-optimum MILD PCs, exhibits Jc = 543 kA/cm2 at 77 K and applied field of 1.0 T, and Ic = 114 A/cm-width of conductor. This is the highest value we find in the literature. The phenomenology developed indicates that for optimum MILD PCs in coated conductor, Jc  700 ± 70 kA/cm2 should be achievable at 77 K, 1.0 T.  相似文献

Transport properties of (Cu, C)Ba2CuOx [(Cu, C)-1201] thin films have been characterized by in situ temperature dependence of resistivity, without breaking vacuum from the deposition to the measurement. In in situ transport properties measurements, the obtained results reveal that (Cu, C)Ba2CuOx films exhibit Tc > 20 K on the cased of conductivity at 290 K (σ[290 K]) > 4 × 102 S/cm and temperature coefficient of resistivity (TCR) > 1.5 × 10?3 K?1, and doping level of them should be in between under-doped and optimally-doped states. Their results suggest that there would be possible to further increases of Tc, and XPS data suggest that (Cu, C)-system should have the excellent dopability in their charge reservoir and the possibility of low anisotropy.  相似文献

Mg0.9Zr0.1B2/Cu wires were successfully synthesized by powder-in-tube (PIT) techniques with self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) method. We loaded the mixed of Mg, Zr and B power into Cu tube. The tube was drawn to a wire and each end of the tube was sealed by the sealant, then rolled into solenoid with 1.5 cm diameter. The wire was heated up to 270 °C in a furnace with general air pressure, then, ignited the wire with electric arc from one of the end, the self-propagating reaction was completed in 2.0–2.5 s. Finally, the prepared wire was followed by furnace cooling to room temperature. The sample was examined using XRD, SEM, and magnetization measurements. The experiments show that there are small MgCu2 and boron-rich phases inner sheath wall of copper tube. The magnesium oxide is small in the sample. So, PIT technologies with SHS method is effective in stopping the volatile and oxidize of magnesium. The Jc results show that Mg0.9Zr0.1B2/Cu wires samples which were synthesized by SHS method are better than those sintered for 1 h and Cu clad pure MgB2 wire. The highest Jc of the prepared Mg0.9Zr0.1B2/Cu wire by SHS method in the air is 5.1 × 105 A/cm2 (5 K, 0.5 T), 1.4 × 105 A/cm2 (20 K, 1 T) and 4.3 × 104 A/cm2 (30 K, 0.5 T).  相似文献

AC susceptibility and DC magnetization measurements were performed for the RPdIn (R=Gd–Er) compounds both in the paramagnetic and in the ordered state. In opposite to GdPdIn, which is a ferromagnet (Tc=102 K), the other samples show a complex ferrimagnetic behavior with the additional transition at Tt<Tc. In the high-temperature phase (for Tt<T<Tc), a ferromagnetic interaction dominates, while in the low-temperature phase (for TTt) antiferromagnetic interactions with the magnetocrystalline anisotropy, especially strong for TbPdIn, come into play. The ordering temperatures are Tc=70, 34, 25 and 12.3 K for Tb-, Dy-, Ho- and ErPdIn respectively, while transition temperatures are Tt=6, 14 and 6 K for Tb-, Dy- and HoPdIn respectively. TbPdIn reveals an additional transition at 27 K connected with the intermediate ferrimagnetic phase. The critical fields for the magnetization process of the low-temperature phase are high (52 and 150 kOe for TbPdIn and 32 kOe for DyPdIn at T=4.2 K) yet these values decrease remarkably with increasing temperature. Results of the study are compared with magnetic and neutron diffraction data hitherto available. We state that irreversibility of the zero-field cooled–field cooled magnetization is not connected with the spin-glass phase claimed elsewhere.  相似文献
