In the framework of quantum defect theory, we study super-excited states of F2 molecules which can dissociate into F^+ (^3P2,1,0) and F^-(^1 So) ion-pair. Based on our calculation, we present a vibrational resolved assignment of the high precision photofragment yield spectra for F^- from the F2 ion-pair production.  相似文献

A renormalization of the-propagator is presented. It is shown that if the-wave, isovector - amplitude is assumed to be dominated by this renormalized, many scattering parameters are predicted that agree well with experimental data. The model is compared with one presented by Tschang and Parkinson. It is shown that the predictions of the two models are the same, but that the renormalization model does not contain some of the theoretical problems of the Tschang and Parkinson scheme.Research partially supported by NSF Institutional Grant No. GU3220 and a grant from the Research Corporation.  相似文献

We discuss the possibility that the existence of dark energy may be due to the presence of a spin zero field φ(χ),either elementary or composite. In the presence of other matter field, the transformation φ(χ)→φ(χ)+constant can generate a negative pressure, like the cosmological constant. In this picture, our universe can be thought asa very large bag, similar to the much smaller MIT bag model for a single nucleon.  相似文献

A new isospectral problem is established by constructing a simple interesting loop algebra. A commutation operation of the loop algebra is as straightforward as the loop algebra A1. It follows that a type of multi-component integrable hierarchy is obtained. This can be used as a general method.  相似文献

The helium atom confined by a spherical parabolic potential well is studied employing the adiabatic hyperspherical approach method. Total energies of the ground and three low-excited states are obtained as a function of the confined potential radii. We find that the energies of a spherical parabolic potential well are in good agreement with those of an impenetrable spherical box for the larger confined potential radius. We find also that the confinement may cause accidental degeneracies between levels with different low-excited states and the inversion of the energy values. The results for the three-dimensional spherical potential well and the two-dimensional disc-like potential well are compared with each other. We find that the energy difference between states in a two-dimensional parabolic potential is also obviously larger than the corresponding levels for a spherical parabolic potential.  相似文献

A new type of THz waveguides, which employs a solid polyethylene rod as the core and polyethylene tubes in a periodic array of square lattice as the cladding, is proposed. Optical properties of this new THz waveguide, especially in dispersion, confinement loss and single mode property, are investigated in detail with the plane wave expansion method and the beam propagation method. Numerical results demonstrate that the new THz waveguide can reach not only low dispersion but also low confinement loss at single mode propagation. Therefore, the square lattice structure is a better candidate as THz waveguides than the triangular ones.  相似文献

We show that acid deposition is analogous to complex systems composed of a series of interconnected components. Frequency-size distributions of weekly hydrogen deposition (WHD) of precipitation are consistent with double power-law in two different regimes separated by a crossover WHD. The distribution of variations in acid deposition over a week interval is remarkably symmetrical, with long tail extending over eight orders of magnitude. The acid deposition fluctuations exhibit fractal Brown motion with two different temporal scaling regimes and long-range correlation exists in the series. The power-laws in the acid deposition dynamics are considered to be indicators of self-organization of atmosphere under environmental pollution stress.  相似文献

Expressions are obtained for the intensity and the quantum yield of the sensitized luminescence of the chromophore that plays the role of a reaction center in the simplest model trichromophore molecular [lightcollecting] antenna which is so constructed and so oriented in space that the irradiation photons coherently excite its other two chromophorespigments. The quantum electrodynamics formalism which takes into account the radiative dissipative interaction between the pigments and the reaction center of the antenna was used. The comparative analysis of the obtained expressions with the corresponding expressions for the luminescence of a bichromophore molecular system, differing from the trichromophore antenna by the absence of one of the pigments, has shown that the collective dissipative interaction of the pigments with the reaction center of the antenna can be considered as a highly efficient mechanism of [light collection] in molecular antennas.  相似文献

In this paper we present a model with spatial heterogeneity based on cellular automata (CA). In the model we consider the relevant heterogeneity of host (susceptible) mixing and the natural birth rate. We divide the susceptible population into three groups according to the immunity of each individual based on the classical susceptible-infectedremoved (SIR) epidemic models, and consider the spread of an infectious disease transmitted by direct contact among humans and vectors that have not an incubation period to become infectious. We test the local stability and instability of the disease-free equilibrium by the spectrum radii of Jacobian. The simulation shows that the structure of the nearest neighbour size of the cell (or the degree of the scale-free networks) plays a very important role in the spread properties of infectious disease. The positive equilibrium of the infections versus the neighbour size follows the third power law if an endemic equilibrium point exists. Finally, we analyse the feature of the infection waves for the homogeneity and heterogeneous cases respectively.  相似文献

We consider the coagulation dynamics A+A-->A and A+A <==> A and the annihilation dynamics A+A-->0 for particles moving subdiffusively in one dimension. This scenario combines the "anomalous kinetics" and "anomalous diffusion" problems, each of which leads to interesting dynamics separately and to even more interesting dynamics in combination. The motivation of this theoretical work is to introduce a model calculation for the elastic waves scattering and coherent phonon transport at an atomic nanojunction between face-centered cubic (fcc) leads. The model system A/B consists of two perfect semi-infinite fcc leads A and B, oriented in the same direction and joined by an atomic interface. It is applied to the system Cu/Ni and its inverse Ni/Cu. A theoretical approach based on the matching method is used to study the dynamics of the system A/B.  相似文献

A plastic crack model for smectic A liquid crystals under longitudinal shear is suggested. The solution of the screw dislocation in smectic A is the key to the correct result that we obtained by overcoming a longstanding puzzle. We further use the dislocation pile-up principle and the singular integral equation method to construct the solution of the crack in the phase. From the solution, we can determine the size of the plastic zone at the crack tip and the crack tip opening (tearing) displacement, which are the parameters relevant to the local stability/instability of materials. Our results may be useful for developing soft-matter mechanics.  相似文献

Previous works dealing with the stability of the A15 phases are reviewed. Data for over 60 known A15 phases are used to develop criteria for stability which may be applied to hypothetical A15 phases. Occurrence of these phases is examined in terms of the valence bond concepts of the Engel-Brewer correlation and in its frequency with changes in electronic density of states. A15 is most favored when the “A” elements are V, Nb or Cr, when radii of the constituent atoms differ by no more than 8 per cent, at compositions determined by electron concentration, and at relatively low temperatures. Composition and temperature of formation are predicted for several likely hypothetical A15 phases.  相似文献

Total-reflected x-ray diffraction of the A1-Ge(001) interface is analyzed by means of a simple theoretical model. The result suggests that the horizontal lattice constant of the initially deposited 30 ± 5 A1 layers changes gradually from 3.997 Å to 4.05 Å to accommodate the mismatch of the Ge and A1 lattice constants. The analysis also indicates that the A1 layer lattice is more disordered closer to the Ge substrate and is made up of ordered domains with an average size of 320 Å for all the A1 films prepared.  相似文献

We confirm by X-rays studies on aligned samples the existence in a binary system of a smectic A - smectic A transition. We find that the smectic layer periodicity is doubled from the higher phase SA1 to the lower one SA2. The observation of diffuse scattering planes in nematic and SA1 indicates the existence of pretransitional SA2 effects and we suggest an analogy between the SA1–SA2 transition and the classical para-antiferroelectric transition in crystals.  相似文献

A thermodynamic method capable of determining the B/A value of 4-ml sample volumes is described. The method involves a procedure in which the static pressure of the sample is altered in a short period of time, to approximate an adiabatic process, during which the ultrasonic velocity is measured. The velocity change so determined is used to calculate the B/A value. The B/A measurement error is less than 0.7%.  相似文献

CERN experiment NA44 measures pion and kaon distributions atpT=0–320 MeV/c at midrapidity in p+A and A+A collisions at 450 and 200A GeV/c, respectively. Pion production from p+Pb and A+A is slightly enhanced at lowpT relative to p+Be, but less than observed at target rapidity. The lowpT behavior can be understood in the context of the RQMD model as arising from baryonic resonance decays.  相似文献

介绍了一种软X射线多道能谱测量的新方法,该方法用软件实现实时采集、数据处理并通过软X射线能谱计算及时显示电子温度。和传统的脉高分析器(PHA)相比,道数和时间分辨率可用软件设定。新方法采用一台配有高速A/D采集卡的个人计算机获取原始的模拟信号,开发了专用的处理软件用来处理电子温度。新方法已经应用于HL-2A装置实验,与其它方法测到的电子温度具有较好的一致性。  相似文献
