对科学家们发表的论文应如何进行定量化的评估,换句话说,也就是如何来确定他们的工作质量和效率.美国加州大学圣地亚哥分校的Jorge Hirsch教授提出了一种定量评估论文质量的方法,称为h-指数法.其具体计算的方法是以论文发表的数量和论文被引用的次数综合起来考虑的,例如一位科学家共发表了10篇论文,每篇论文被引用过一次,他的h-指数就是10.显然h-指数可以较好地反映出论文的重要性、创新性和在实用上的有效性的.它的累积效应也可以用来作为招聘新工作人员和提升及奖励工作人员的评判标准.  相似文献

The surface composition of 18th century papers was investigated by means of ToF-SIMS and XPS. The aim of the present study was to explore the possibility of using these surface sensitive methods to obtain information which can help to determine the manufacturing process, provenance and state of conservation of ancient papers. The ToF-SIMS results indicate that the analyzed papers were sized by gelatin and that alum was added as hardening agent. The paper sheets produced in near geographical areas but in different paper mills exhibit a similar surface composition and morphology of the fibers as shown by the ToF-SIMS measurements. The ToF-SIMS and the XPS results indicate that a significant fraction of the cellulose fibers is not covered by the gelatin layer. This was observed for the ancient papers and for a modern handmade paper manufactured according to the old recipes.  相似文献

We report on the use of elemental composition, determined by energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF), to identify different types of paper. The concentrations of S, Cl, K, Ca, Ti, Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, Zn, As, Br, Rb, Sr, Ba and Pb were determined in papers from 1555, 1575, 1724, 1748, 1779, 1782, 1787, 1806, 1861, 1919, 1941 and 2005. A preliminary analysis was made with the use of a dendrogram. The Euclidian distances evidenced a big fluctuation in the elemental composition on most recent papers. The dendrogram also allowed us to catalogue the analysed samples into ten types of paper. Calcium, Cu, Fe, Zn and Sr were the only elements found in all paper samples. However the content of each element was different in every paper type. Calcium is the predominant element in all paper types. Applying Spearman coefficients correlations to these papers for Ca, Cu, Fe, Zn and Sr, we found moderate negative correlations between Ca-Cu. Positive correlations were also found between Fe-Cu, though not very strong. High levels of the toxic elements, Co, Ni, As and Pb were present in papers from 1779 and 1787. From this work it becomes clear that the number of elements in modern papers is lower than in older ones. PACS 39.30.+W; 78.70.En; 89.90.+n  相似文献

In the present study, reduced graphene-oxide (r-GO) papers were prepared by vacuum filtration method using chemically obtained graphene oxide as raw materials. Different reduction methods, chemical, thermal or the combination were designed to investigate the influence of reduction process on the structure and conductivity of r-GO papers. The reducibility of the obtained papers was investigated by XPS and Raman. The structure, morphology and electrical conductivity were examined by XRD, SEM and four point resistivity test system, respectively. Results showed that chemical reduction using hydrazine or annealing in reducing ambinent alone was not sufficient to achieve maximum reduction, the highest C/O ratio and highest conductivity was obtained in paper reduced via a combination of hydrazine and thermal annealing treatment. In order to further improve the conductivity of the paper, Ag nanoparticles have been decorated into the paper.  相似文献

This paper reports the investigation of microdroplet sample preparation for phosphate, strontium and rubidium using X-ray fluorescence. Sample filter papers were prepared by drying under several different conditions and the front and the back sides of the filter papers were measured using X-ray fluorescence (XRF), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and electron-probe microanalysis (EPMA).

It was reported by Murata and Murokado that the elemental distribution difference between the front and the back sides after drying the filter paper led to erratic data.1 It has been found that the intensity difference between the front and the back sides was due to the condensation of the material of interest on the surface of the filter papers and the amount of the condensed material on the filter paper was related to the temperature at which the filter paper was dried.

Optimum temperature at which a filter paper is dried and an appropriate internal standard are essential to reproducible measurements.  相似文献

For many years after Bohr's response to the EPR argument, Bohr was considered to have provided an authoritative rebuttal of the ideas of the paper, and more generally of Einstein's stance on quantum theory. More recently, however, there has been great difficulty even in achieving general agreement on Bohr's meaning. Two recent papers, by Dickson, and by Clifton and Halvorson, have sought to establish the structure of Bohr's argument. In the present paper, the papers of EPR and Bohr are re-assessed in the light of these recent papers, and also in light of the development and presentation of quantum information theory.  相似文献

Numerical data for the distribution of citations are examined for: (i) papers published in 1981 in journals which are catalogued by the Institute for Scientific Information (783,339 papers) and (ii) 20 years of publications in Physical Review D, vols. 11-50 (24,296 papers). A Zipf plot of the number of citations to a given paper versus its citation rank appears to be consistent with a power-law dependence for leading rank papers, with exponent close to -1/2. A simple synthetic chemical process to produce metal oxide loaded carbon papers was developed using bacterial cellulose gel, which consisted of nanometer-sized fibrous cellulose and water. Metal ions were successfully impregnated into the gel via aqueous solution media before drying and carbonization methods resulting in metal oxide contents that were easy to control through variations in the concentration of aqueous solutions. The papers loaded by molybdenum oxides were characterized as pseudocapacitor electrodes preliminary, and the large redox capacitance of the oxides was followed by a conductive fibrous carbon substrate, suggesting that a binder and carbon black additive-free electrode consisting of metal oxides and carbon paper was formed.  相似文献

建立了一种利用傅里叶变换红外光谱技术快速检验复印纸的新方法.采用傅里叶变换红外光谱技术对复印纸中填料种类和纤维素的结晶度进行了分析,并研究了复印纸热老化和紫外光老化的规律.以1 429与893 cm-1的吸光度比值表示纤维素的结品度,测定不同纸张样品的结晶度的标准偏差为0.010 7~0.016 0,同一包纸样的平均标准偏差为0.014 8.不同厂家不同牌号、相同厂家不同牌号、相同厂家相同牌号不同生产时间复印纸中添加的填料种类和纤维素的结晶度不同,热老化和紫外光老化规律不同,实现了对复印纸的鉴别,为纸张的相同性比对和同一认定提供了一种实用的检验方法.  相似文献

The literature on Einstein-Maxwell fields with high symmetry (including some work by the present author) abounds in errors and unwitting rediscoveries. In the present paper certain static axisymmetric, stationary cylindrically symmetric and nonstatic spatially homogeneous space-times which were previously investigated in a series of papers by Raychaudhuri, Datta, Bera, and De [1–11] are considered. In most cases the general solution of the problems tackled is now known, and is repeated here. The earlier papers are analyzed; while errors (some already pointed out by Carminati and McIntosh [12]) and duplications are found, it is believed that the papers discussed contain the first occurrences of three of the solutions. The calculations in this paper have been verified using the computer algebra system SHEEP.  相似文献
