Iron-yttrium mixed oxides in varying ratios (YFe 91, 31, 11, 12, 13, and 19) annealed to different temperatures (850, 1000 and 1250 C) have been investigated by Mössbauer spectroscopy down to 85 K. The Mössbauer spectra are complex in nature, showing up to three magnetically split hyperfine patterns in iron-rich (Y Fe 11, 12, 13 and 19) samples; these three components are attributed to characteristic YFeO3, Y3Fe5O12 and hematite. The yttrium-rich samples (YFe 91, 31) show only one six-line spectrum of YFeO3.  相似文献

The rare-earth site of samples having the compositions (Fe,Cu)Sr2(Eu,Ce) n Cu2O4+2n+z (n=2 and 3) were studied by151Eu Mössbauer spectroscopy. The results obtained are compared with measurements of EuBa2Cu3O7– (123) and Bi2Sr2(Ca1–yEuy)Cu2O8+E (2212) samples. The full quadrupole Hamiltonian of the 21.5-keV -transition was applied in analyzing the measured spectra. Simultaneous fitting of spectra recorded from crystallites oriented in various directions was used to determine the hyperfine parameters of then= 2 and 3 samples. Two different electric field gradients, not discernible in simple random crystallite measurements, were obtained for then=3 series.  相似文献

In this paper we present the results of a search for the charmed strange baryon c + in the final states 0++K and ++. The experiment was performed using the magnetic spectrometer BIS-2 with a hydrogen target located in the neutron beam of the Serpukhov accelerator. A narrow peak in the 0++K state is observed at a mass of 2440 and possibly also of 2310 MeV/c2, corresponding to signals for the c + 0++K and c + 0++K (0 0) decays respectively. The applicability of (K ,) - and (K , N)-reactions on13,14C and14,15N nuclei to the study of -transitions in primary and daughter -hypernuclei is discussed. The intensity of -deexcitation of 13C state |S 12C(15·11 MeV; 1+1): 1/2+ has been shown to be comparable with the intensity of baryon decay. Isospin selection rules are used to distinguish excitation energy ranges of primary hypernuclei, where the identification of the secondary -lines is probable.Presented at the symposium Mesons and Light Nuclei, Bechyn, Czechoslovakia, May 27–June 1, 1985.  相似文献

The fine structures of the threshold of subsidiary absorption and parallel pumping, observed on highly polished YIG spheres in 1975 by W. Jantz et al., are discussed with a model which uses instead of plane spin-waves the true modes regarding the shape of the sphere. These spherical modes are magnetostatic modes taking additionally the exchange interaction into account. At the closely spaced resonances of the fine structure of parallel pumping single spherical modes with angular-momentum quantum numberm=0 are excited, whereas at the resonances of subsidiary absorption pairs of spherical modes with big angular-momentum quantum numbers (|m|1000) satisfying the selection rulem+m=1 are excited. The analysis of the fine structure of subsidiary absorption shows that in regimes where the plane wave approximation predicts the excitation of spin-waves with formalk0, modes withk1.5·105 cm–1 have the lowest threshold. This discrepancy is discussed with the effect of surface pit scattering, which increases the threshold of modes withk < 2/pit, where pit is a typical size of the surface pits. Consequently modes withk22/pit instead ofk0 have the lowest threshold.  相似文献

We present a method for obtaining bounds on the magnetic moment of the lepton. In order to do this, we study the radiative decayW as a function of the anomalous magnetic moment of the ,a . One can obtain bounds as good asa < 4.05×10–2, 2.25×10–2, 4.5×10–3, and 2.5×10–3 at the present Fermilab, future Fermilab, SSC, and LHC, respectively.  相似文献

Changes in the fluorescence intensity of polyanions bearing 4-acryloylbenzo-18-crown-6 units on the addition of cations were studied in a mixed solvent of methanol and water at 30°C. The sensitivity of the change in fluorescence intensities of the polymers toward cations was strongly enhanced compared to that of the corresponding model compound. When alkali metal cations were added, the fluorescence intensity of the polymers decreased in the orders Li+>Na+>Cs+>Rb+>K+ in a methanol-water (19) mixture and Li+>Na+>Rb+>K+Cs+ in a methanol-water (91) mixture. Alkaline earth metal cations and alkylamine hydrochlorides decreased the fluorescence intensity of the polymers in a methanol-water (19) mixture. The cation-dependent decrease in the fluorescence intensity of the polymers was affected by the water fraction in a mixed solvent of methanol and water.  相似文献

The aim of this note is to show that the affine Lie algebraA 1 (1) has a natural family , ,v of Fock representations on the spaceC[x i,y j;i andj ], parametrized by (,v) C 2. First results on d are reported. The measurements were made using 8 specially designed neutron counters, which were carefully calibratedin situ. The differential cross sections atT =142, 180, 217, and 254 MeV were obtained at four angles between 0° and 90°, they are compared to + d pp data measured at the same energies and angles with the same setup. At every beam energy, the shape of the angular distributions of d nn and + d pp is the same to ±2%. The absolute cross sections differ by 1 to 10%. We prove the following long-time tail results: (1) limt td/2t= V2Md/2–3(d/2)d/2 and (2) limt td/4 st(w)= Zs weakly in path space, with {Zs:s>0} the Gaussian process with EZs=0 and EZrZs= V2Md/2–4(d)d/2 (r + s)–d/2. HereM and V2 are the mean and variance of w(0) under . The main surprise is that fixingw changes the power of the long-time tail fromd/2 tod/4. Green rust-like compounds (GRs) were discovered as natural minerals in various hydromorphic soils, where anoxic conditions allow their stability. They may control some redox processes in aquifers and participate to the transformation of various pollutants. Since Mg(II) cations are present in the fields where GRs were discovered, a partial substitution of Mg(II) to Fe(II) leading to intermediate compounds between GRs and usual Mg(II)–Fe(III) hydroxysalts is suspected. Mg(II)–Fe(II)–Fe(II) hydroxycarbonates can be obtained as intermediate oxidation products of (Mg, Fe)(OH)2 in carbonate-containing aqueous media obeying to [FeII 4(1–x)MgII 4x FeIII 2(OH)12]2+ [CO3 2– nH2O]–2. TMS spectra at 12 K are similar to those of GRs, i.e., two quadrupole doublets, one due to Fe(II) with a large isomer shift =1.29 mms–1 (with respect to -iron at room temperature) and quadrupole splitting E Q=2.76 mms–1, the other one due to Fe(III) with smaller hyperfine parameters =0.49 mms–1 and E Q=0.44 mms–1. Fe(II) ions oxidise rapidly into Fe(III) with dissolved O2. The reactivity is similar to that of Fe(II)–Fe(III) hydroxysalts GR, and thus the potential of Mg(II)–Fe(II)–Fe(III) compounds for reducing pollutants.  相似文献

Methyl-, ethyl- and n-butyl ferrocene (I–III) form dark colored charge transfer complexes with TCNE both in solution and by trituration of the solid donor and acceptor. Their Mössbauer spectra suggest only minor reduction of the TCNE acceptor. On the other hand, 1,1-dimethylferrocene (IV) forms a ferricenium complex with TCNE of 12 stoichiometry whose structure is likely similar to that determined for [IV][TCNQ]2. The new 12 ferricenium-TCNE phase undergoes a novel, spontaneous, irreversible solid-state transformation back to a mixture of a low spin FeII ferrocene species and a high spin FeII complex over a period of weeks at ambient temperature. In preliminary studies, irradiation of samples of these materials with white light (including near infrared wavelengths) suggests significant photochemical activity of the type and vice versa in the solid state. This is observable in Mössbauer spectra at 77 K. In the absence of irradiation with tungsten-halogen white light sources, however, the photo product is not permanently trapped at this temperature.  相似文献

The uniform nearest particle system (UNPS) is studied, which is a continuoustime Markov process with state space . The rigorous upper bound (mf) = ( – 1)/ for the order parameter 2, is given by the correlation identity and the FKG inequality. Then an improvement of this bound (mf) is shown in a similar fashion; C( – 1)/|log( – 1) for >1. Recently, Mountford proved that the critical value c=1. Combining his result and our improved bound implies that if the critical exponent exists, it is strictly greater than the mean-field value 1 in the weak sense.  相似文献

The measurements of diffuse reflectance spectra in the range of 400; 2500 nm and of photoacoustic spectra in the range of 350; 800 nm were used for the study of the influence of iron (III) oxide and lathanum oxide additions on the band structure of polycrystalline lead zirconate — lead titanate solid solutions. The molar ratio of zirconium and titanium in the studied solid solutions was 60 40, and the concentrations of the dopants werex FeO1.5, andy LaO1.5, werex 0; 0·05 mol, andy 0; 0·10 mol, respectively. The diffuse reflectance spectra were expressed in terms of the Kubelka-Munk function values versus incident electromagnetic radiation energy. These dependences were decomposed into partial absorption bands using a computer. Transitions of charged carriers between energy levels or bands which differ mutually by the energy of 0·9, 1·2–1·3, 1·6, 1·65–1·7, 2·4–2·5, 2·75–2·8, 2·9–3·2, 3·4–3·8 eV, were identified. Their intensities depend on the concentration of Fe and/or on La in the Pb(Zr0.60 Ti0.40) solid solutions.The authors are very grateful to Mrs. Iva Havlasová, Vra Andrsová, Ing. Investigations were made of the electrical properties, the cathodolumiescence and photoconductivity spectra, and the temperature dependence of the majority carrier lifetime in gallium arsenide with a high concentration of tin (n=2·1018 cm–3, 1.5·1017 cm–3) that was doped with copper under different diffusion regimes. Measurements of the Hall effect revealed centers with an ionization energy 0.175 ± 0.005 eV, their concentration depending on the rate of cooling of the samples. The cathodoluminescence and Hall effect data suggest that the cathodoluminescence band observed at 1.35 eV in GaAsSnCu is associated with radiative transitions of electrons to centers with a =Ev + 0.175 eV. For the radial Schrödinger equation with a potentialq(x) decreasing at infinity asq 0 q , (0, 2), the low energy asymptotics of spectral and scattering data is found. In particular, it is shown that forq 0>0 the spectral function vanishes exponentially as the energyk 2 tends to zero. On the contrary, there is always a zero-energy resonance forq 0<0. These results determine the local asymptotics of solutions of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for large timest. Specifically, for positive potentials its solutions decay as exp(–0 t (2–)/(2+), 0>0,t. In the case (1, 2) it is shown that for ±q 0>0 the phase shift tends to ± ask0 and its asymptotics is evaluated.  相似文献

We investigate the band-gap structure of some second-order differential operators associated with the propagation of waves in periodic two-component media. Particularly, the operator associated with the Maxwell equations with position-dependent dielectric constant (x),xR 3, is considered. The medium is assumed to consist of two components: the background, where (x) = b , and the embedded component composed of periodically positioned disjoint cubes, where (x) = a . We show that the spectrum of the relevant operator has gaps provided some reasonable conditions are imposed on the parameters of the medium. Particularly, we show that one can open up at least one gap in the spectrum at any preassigned point provided that the size of cubesL, the distancel=L betwen them, and the contrast = b / a are chosen in such a way thatL –2, and quantities -1-3/2 and 2 are small enough. If these conditions are satisfied, the spectrum is located in a vicinity of widthw(3/2)-1 of the set {2 L -2 k 2:kZ3}. This means, in particular, that any finite number of gaps between the elements of this discrete set can be opened simultaneously, and the corresponding bands of the spectrum can be made arbitrarily narrow. The method developed shows that if the embedded component consists of periodically positioned balls or other domains which cannot pack the space without overlapping, one should expect pseudogaps rather than real gaps in the spectrum.  相似文献
