In this paper, the complex dynamical behavior of a fractional-order Lorenz-like system with two quadratic terms is investigated. The existence and uniqueness of solutions for this system are proved, and the stabilities of the equilibrium points are analyzed as one of the system parameters changes. The pitchfork bifurcation is discussed for the first time, and the necessary conditions for the commensurate and incommensurate fractional-order systems to remain in chaos are derived. The largest Lyapunov exponents and phase portraits are given to check the existence of chaos. Finally, the sliding mode control law is provided to make the states of the Lorenz-like system asymptotically stable. Numerical simulation results show that the presented approach can effectively guide chaotic trajectories to the unstable equilibrium points.  相似文献

Hopf bifurcation and chaos of a nonlinear electromechanical coupling relative rotation system are studied in this paper. Considering the energy in air-gap field of AC motor, the dynamical equation of nonlinear electromechanical coupling relative rotation system is deduced by using the dissipation Lagrange equation. Choosing the electromagnetic stiffness as a bifurcation parameter, the necessary and sufficient conditions of Hopf bifurcation are given, and the bifurcation characteristics are studied. The mechanism and conditions of system parameters for chaotic motions are investigated rigorously based on the Silnikov method, and the homoclinic orbit is found by using the undetermined coefficient method. Therefore, Smale horseshoe chaos occurs when electromagnetic stiffness changes. Numerical simulations are also given, which confirm the analytical results.  相似文献

In this paper, we design a feedback controller, and analytically determine a control criterion so as to control the codimension-2 Bautin bifurcation in the chaotic Lfi system. According to the control criterion, we determine a potential Bautin bifurcation region (denoted by P) of the controlled system. This region contains the Bautin bifurcation region (denoted by Q) of the uncontrolled system as its proper subregion. The controlled system can exhibit Bautin bifurcation in P or its proper subregion provided the control gains are properly chosen. Particularly, we can control the appearance of Bautin bifurcation at any appointed point in the region P. Due to the relationship between Bantin bifurcation and Hopf bifurcation, the control scheme thereby is also viable for controlling the creation and stability of the Hopf bifurcation. In the controller, there are two terms: a linear term and a nonlinear cubic term. We show that the former determines the location of the Hopf bifurcation while the latter regulates its criticality. We also carry out numerical studies, and the simulation results confirm our analyticai predictions.  相似文献

A stroboscopic map for voltage-controlled single ended primary inductor converter (SEPIC) with pulse width modulation (PWM) is presented, where low-frequency oscillating phenomena such as quasi-periodic and intermittent quasi-periodic bifurcations occurring in the system are captured by numerical and experimental methods. According to bifurcation diagrams and nonlinear dynamical theory, the characteristics of the low-frequency oscillation and the mechanism for the appearance of the low-frequency oscillation are investigated. It is shown that as the controller parameter varies, the change in the conduction mode takes place from the continuous conduction mode (CCM) under the originally stable period one and high periodic orbits to the intermittent changes between CCM and discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), which may be related to the losing stability of the system and brought the system to exhibiting low-frequency oscillating behaviour in the time domain. Moreover, the occurrence of the intermittent quasi-periodic oscillation reflects that the system undergoes a Neimark--Sacker bifurcation.  相似文献

A way resulting in lasing without inversion (LWI) in an open resonant A-type system from a nonlinear dynamics viewpoint is investigated. The destabilization of the non-lasing solution can occur not only through pitchfork bifurcation, giving rise to continuous wave LWI, but also through Hopf bifurcation,giving rise to self-pulsing LWI. This is much different from that of the corresponding closed resonant A-type system in which the destabilization of the non-lasing solution can occur only through pitchfork bifurcation. The effects of the unsaturated gain coefficient, cavity loss coefficient, atomic injection and exit rates on the two bifurcations are discussed.  相似文献

Impulsively coupled systems are high-dimensional non-smooth systems that can exhibit rich and complex dynamics.This paper studies the complex dynamics of a non-smooth system which is unidirectionally impulsively coupled by three Duffing oscillators in a ring structure.By constructing a proper Poincare map of the non-smooth system,an analytical expression of the Jacobian matrix of Poincare map is given.Two-parameter Hopf bifurcation sets are obtained by combining the shooting method and the Runge-Kutta method.When the period is fixed and the coupling strength changes,the system undergoes stable,periodic,quasi-periodic,and hyper-chaotic solutions,etc.Floquet theory is used to study the stability of the periodic solutions of the system and their bifurcations.  相似文献

Multiple steady solutions and hysteresis phenomenon in the square cavity flows driven by the surface with antisymmetric velocity profile are investigated by numerical simulation and bifurcation analysis.A high order spectral element method with the matrix-free pseudo-arclength technique is used for the steady-state solution and numerical continuation.The complex flow patterns beyond the symmetry-breaking at Re■320 are presented by a bifurcation diagram for Re 2500.The results of stable symmetric and asymmetric solutions are consistent with those reported in literature,and a new unstable asymmetric branch is obtained besides the stable branches.A novel hysteresis phenomenon is observed in the range of2208 Re 2262,where two pairs of stable and two pairs of unstable asymmetric steady solutions beyond the stable symmetric state coexist.The vortices near the sidewall appear when the Reynolds number increases,which correspond to the bifurcation of topology structure,but not the bifurcation of Navier-Stokes equations.The hysteresis is proposed to be the result of the combined mechanisms of the competition and coalescence of secondary vortices.  相似文献

Interaction between transmission control protocol (TCP) and random early detection (RED) gateway in the Internet congestion control system has been modelled as a discrete-time dynamic system which exhibits complex bifurcating and chaotic behaviours. In this paper, a hybrid control strategy using both state feedback and parameter perturbation is employed to control the bifurcation and stabilize the chaotic orbits embedded in this discrete-time dynamic system of TCP/RED. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulations show that the bifurcation is delayed and the chaotic orbits are stabilized to a fixed point, which reliably achieves a stable average queue size in an extended range of parameters and even completely eliminates the chaotic behaviour in a particular range of parameters. Therefore it is possible to decrease the sensitivity of RED to parameters. By using the hybrid strategy, we may improve the stability and performance of TCP/RED congestion control system significantly.  相似文献

In this paper, the dynamical behaviour of a linear impulsive system is discussed both theoretically and numerically. The existence and the stability of period-one solution are discussed by using a discrete map. The conditions of existence for flip bifurcation are derived by using the centre manifold theorem and bifurcation theorem. The bifurcation analysis shows that chaotic solutions appear via a cascade of period-doubling in some interval of parameters. Moreover, the periodic solutions, the bifurcation diagram, and the chaotic attractor, which show their consistence with the theoretical analyses, are given in an example.  相似文献

The mechanism of generation and annihilation of attractors during transition from a Hamiltonian system to a dissipative system is studied numerically using the dissipative standard map. The transient process related to the formation of attracting basins of periodic attractors is studied by discussing the evolution of the KAM tori of the standard map. The result shows that as damping increases, attractors are mainly generated from elliptic orbits of the Hamiltonian system and annihilated by colliding with unstable periodic orbits originating from the corresponding hyperbolic orbits of the Hamiltonian system. The transient process also exhibits the general feature of bifurcation.  相似文献

This paper introduces a four-dimensional(4D) segmented disc dynamo which possesses coexisting hidden attractors with one stable equilibrium or a line equilibrium when parameters vary. In addition, by choosing an appropriate bifurcation parameter, the paper proves that Hopf bifurcation and pitchfork bifurcation occur in the system. The ultimate bound is also estimated. 研究了一类具有分数阶导数阻尼的五次方振子系统中的叉形分叉及振动共振现象. 基于快慢变量分离法, 消去系统中的高频激励成分, 得到关于慢变量的等效系统, 根据等效系统中稳态平衡点的变化情况研究了系统的叉形分叉现象. 结果表明: 高频信号幅值的递增变化会引起亚临界叉形分叉, 高频信号频率和分数阶导数阻尼阶数的递增变化都会引起超临界叉形分叉; 振动共振和叉形分叉是关联的, 当叉形分叉发生时, 振动共振曲线会出现两个峰值, 否则只会出现一个峰值. 通过解析结果和数值模拟结果的对比, 验证了解析分析的正确性. 关键词: 亚临界叉形分叉 超临界叉形分叉 分数阶导数阻尼 振动共振  相似文献

A prototypical model for a mean field second order transition is presented, which is based on an ensemble of coupled two-states units. This system is used as a basic model to study the effect of memory. To wit, we distinguish two types of memories: weak and strong, depending on the feasibility of linearizing the generalized mean field master equation. For weak memory we find static solutions that behave much like those of the memoryless (Markovian) system. The latter exhibits a pitchfork bifurcation as the control parameter is increased, with two stable and one unstable solution. The former exhibits an imperfect pitchfork bifurcation to states with the same behaviors. In both cases, the stability of the static solutions is analyzed via the usual linearization around the equilibrium solution. For strong memories we again find an imperfect pitchfork bifurcation, with two stable and one unstable branch. However, it is no longer possible to analyze these behaviors via the usual linearization, which is local in time, because a strong memory requires knowledge of the system for its entire past. Asymptotic state of an open quantum system may change substantially upon variations of system parameters. These changes can be often identified as bifurcation transitions in the classical mean‐filed equations describing evolution of the relevant observables. We demonstrate that these bifurcations can be made visible as changes in the structure of the asymptotic density matrix of the original quantum system. By using an N‐boson dimer, we present quantum ‘bifurcation diagrams’ for the pitchfork and saddle‐node bifurcations (in the stationary dimer) and visualize a period‐doubling transition to chaos (in a periodically modulated dimer).  相似文献

The proposed system can generate a hyper-chaotic attractor in wide parameters regions. By using the center manifold theorem and the local bifurcation theory, a pitchfork bifurcation is demonstrated to arise at the zero equilibrium point. Numerical analysis demonstrates that the hyper-chaotic system can generate complex dynamical behaviors, e.g., a direct transition from quasi-periodic behavior to hyper-chaotic behavior. Finally, an electronic circuit is designed to implement the hyper-chaotic system, the experimental results are consist with the numerical simulations, which verifies the existence of the hyper-chaotic attractor. 研究了叉形分岔系统和FitzHugh Nagumo(FHN)细胞模型两种非线性动力系统分岔点邻域内 随机共振的特性.研究结果表明:这两种系统在分岔发生时具有由一个吸引子变为两个吸引 子或者由两个吸引子变为一个吸引子共同的分岔特性,即在分岔点的邻域内, 系统在分岔点 的两侧有分岔前吸引子和分岔后吸引子存在,在噪声的作用下,系统的运动除了像传统随机 共振的机理那样在分岔点一侧共存的吸引子之间跃迁,还在分岔点两侧三个吸引子(分岔前 一个吸引子和分岔后两个吸引子)之间跃迁,并且这种跃迁单独诱发了随机共振 ;在两种 跃迁都发生的情况下, 在其分岔点的邻域内,由第二种跃迁诱发的随机共振在引起第一种跃 迁噪声的强度很大的范围内变化仍可维持, 而第一种跃迁诱发的随机共振在引起第二种跃迁 噪声的强度很小的范围内变化即迅速消失. 关键词: 随机共振 吸引子 分岔点 跃迁  相似文献

分岔反控制作为传统分岔控制的逆问题, 其目的是在预先指定的系统参数点通过控制主动设计出具有所期望特性的分岔解. 以一类三自由度含间隙双面碰撞振动系统为研究对象, 在不改变原系统平衡解结构的前提下, 考虑到在碰撞振动系统反控制过程中由Poincaré映射的隐式特点和传统的映射Neimark-Sacker分岔临界准则带来的困难, 通过对原系统施加线性反馈控制器并利用不直接依赖于特征值计算的Neimark-Sacker分岔显式临界准则研究了此系统的分岔反控制问题. 首先对原系统施加线性反馈控制, 建立闭环控制系统的六维Poincaré映射. 由于六维映射的雅克比矩阵的特征值没有解析的表达式, 利用高维映射Neimark-Sacker分岔的显式临界准则, 获得了系统出现拟周期碰撞振动运动的控制参数区域. 然后采用中心流形-正则形方法分析了拟周期分岔解的稳定性. 数值仿真结果表明本文方法可以在指定的系统参数点通过控制设计出稳定的拟周期碰撞运动.  相似文献

Compared with general nonlinear systems, multi-time scale system has complex bursting dynamics and has received widespread attention. A memristor-based Jerk system with parametric excitation is proposed in this study. As the selected excitation frequency is far less than the natural frequency, implying the existence of an order gap between the excitation frequency and the natural one, the system can be considered as a classic fast-slow system with two timescales. In our system, when the slow-varying parameters periodically pass through the critical pitchfork bifurcation point periodically, a distinct time delay behavior can be observed. Complex bursting oscillations induced by the delayed pitchfork are revealed with different excitation amplitudes. By virtue of the fast-slow analysis method, the corresponding generation mechanisms are discussed by the transformed phase portraits, the time series, and the phase portraits. As the delay time interval induced by the pitchfork bifurcation is dependant not only on the excitation amplitude, but also on the excitation frequency, some excitation frequency related bursting patterns are also considered in our study. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to verify the validity of the study.  相似文献
