Spin valves with holmium layers and three-layer structures metal/Ho/metal were prepared by magnetron sputtering. A holmium layer in the spin valves is polycrystalline with weak axial <002> texture. The structural coherence length along the hexagonal c-axis is approximately 2/5 of the total thickness of the holmium layer. Field dependences of the spin valves magnetoresistance were measured at different temperatures. Correlation was revealed between magnetic state in holmium layer and the shape of magnetoresistive curve. Deviation of magnetic moments of the reference layer and the adjacent part of holmium from the applied magnetic field was investigated. The field induced mobility of the magnetic helicoid in holmium layers was revealed.  相似文献

In situ magnetic hysteresis measurements of magnetic tips in a magnetic force microscope (MFM) are demonstrated using alternating gradient force magnetometry. The measured magnetic moments of MFM tips are estimated in the range from 10−6 to 10−5 emu by this technique and the whole MFM tips in cantilevers are considered to be measured from the value of measured magnetic moments. The relationship between the magnetic hysteresis loops of MFM tips and those of coated magnetic films is discussed.  相似文献

The magnetic properties of Mn-doped ZnO semiconductor have been investigated using the Monte Carlo method within the Ising model. The temperature dependences of the spontaneous magnetization, specific heat and magnetic susceptibility have been constructed for different concentrations of magnetic dopant Mn and different carrier concentrations. The exact values of Mn concentration and carrier concentration at which high temperature transition occurs are determined. An alternative for the explanation of some controversies concerning the existence and the nature of magnetism in Mn diluted in ZnO systems is given. Other features are also studied.  相似文献

The behavior of the effective shear modulus and low-frequency internal friction in magnesium-thermal beryllium condensate before and after the treatment of samples in a weak constant magnetic field has been studied. The data obtained have been used for calculating the temperature and time dependences of the ratio between the dislocation motion velocities during and after the magnetic action. It has been shown that the exposure of samples to a magnetic field and their aging after the magnetic action radically change the character of the temperature dependences of the dislocation motion velocities. Empirical expressions describing these dependences have been obtained. It has been demonstrated that the magnetic aftereffect in diamagnetic beryllium has a complex character, which indicates the presence of several magnetic memory mechanisms.  相似文献

The magnetic behaviors of ferromagnetic single-walled nanotubes are systematically investigated by use of the many-body Green's function method of quantum statistical theory. The spontaneous magnetization, absolute value of ferromagnetic energy, area of hysteresis loop and coercivity increase with diameter of the tubes and spin quantum number, and decrease with temperature. Curie temperature increases with diameter and spin quantum number. As the diameter of the tube tends to infinity, all the numerical results approach to those of a two-dimensional monolayer. The dependences of initial susceptibility on temperature and diameter below and above Curie point are contrary. The calculated results are compared with experimental results where possible, and are qualitatively in agreement with the latter. The Curie temperature is determined by the tube diameter and independent of rolling helicities.  相似文献

Magnetic vortex has attracted attention in the field of information storage because their topological spin structures with chiral bistable states. If the vortex core polarity and vortex circulation sense can be controlled simultaneously in a nanodisk, which will be more beneficial to realize the multi-bit ultrahigh density storage. In this paper, a reliable control scheme for magnetic vortex chirality is proposed by optimizing the structure of Pac-Man-like nanodisk. The results show that the polarity and circulation of the vortex can be controlled simultaneously by changing the direction of the global magnetic field, and even the chiral states of the vortex can be determined by detecting the stray field distribution on the surface of the nanodisk. The optimized Pac-Man-like nanodisk provide an experimental method for the control and detection of magnetic vortex chirality, which will be beneficial to the realization of multi-bit magnetic storage or magnetic logic technology in the future.  相似文献

Micro-particles in suspension in a fluid are an example of a very low Reynolds number problem. In this case, no inertial effects are observed. Magnetic micro-particles with magnetic moment m, suspended in a fluid orient to applied external magnetic fields B due to the interaction between the field and the magnetic moment. In this work, we present a simple method to estimate the total magnetic moment of magnetic micro-organisms. The method is based on the application of an external oscillating magnetic field in the sites where the micro-organisms are. In this case, it is possible to obtain theoretically the solution of the equation of motion (rotation of the organism and its trajectory). The solution is a transcendental equation relating the orientation angle and m and can be solved by numerical methods. Changing the frequency and/or the field intensity, it is possible to obtain a situation in which the crystal rotates uninterruptedly (a resonance regime). This condition is related to the applied field intensity, to the frequency, to the medium viscosity, to the crystal dimension, and to the micro-crystal magnetic moment m. The method can be used to estimate the total cellular magnetic moment of magnetic micro-particles.  相似文献

A novel platform for microfluidic manipulation of magnetic particles is discussed. The particles are confined by an array of magnetic spin valves with bistable ferromagnetic “ON” and antiferromagnetic “OFF” net magnetization states. The switchable fringing fields near the spin-valve traps can be used to selectively confine or release particles for transport or sorting. Spin-valve traps may be potentially used as magnetic molecular tweezers or adapted to a low-power magnetic random access memory (MRAM) switching architecture for massively parallel particle sorting applications.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline CoFe2O4 ferrite with crystallite sizes of 30 nm have been successfully prepared by an emulsion method. X-ray diffractometer (XRD) shows that nanocrystalline CoFe2O4 ferrite possesses face center cubic structure. Crystal structure of the CoFe2O4 nanocrystals will not be changed by the applied magnetic field and pressures. The obtained CoFe2O4 nanocrystalline powders were pressed into thin columns with different pressures. Meanwhile, the dependences of the applied pressures and the direction of applied magnetic field on the magnetic properties of the CoFe2O4 nanocrystals were investigated in detail using vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The pressed CoFe2O4 nanocrystal gains the most excellent magnetisms in a parallel applied magnetic field.  相似文献

The tunneling of a giant spin at excited levels is studied theoretically in mesoscopic magnets with a magnetic field at an arbitrary angle in the easy plane. Different structures of the tunneling barriers can be generated by the magnetocrystalline anisotropy, the magnitude and the orientation of the field. By calculating the nonvacuum instanton solution explicitly, we obtain the tunnel splittings and the tunneling rates for different angle ranges of the external magnetic field ( θ H = π/2 and π/2 < θ H < π). The temperature dependences of the decay rates are clearly shown for each case. It is found that the tunneling rate and the crossover temperature depend on the orientation of the external magnetic field. The temperature dependences of the magnetic susceptibility in the absence and presence of a bias field have been analyzed. The drift of stripe-domain walls in a (111) ferrite-garnet plate with orthorhombic anisotropy and quality factor Q < 1 in an alternating magnetic field of 30–1000 Hz was investigated. The obtained experimental dependences of the domain wall drift velocity on the magnetic field frequency and amplitude are compared to the corresponding theoretical dependences.  相似文献

We proposed a technique to observe magnetostrictive coefficients of a single crystal specimen with X-ray diffraction. An angle between a direction of crystallographic orientation and a direction of magnetic field could be estimated with two kinds of diffraction peaks which were found with an X-ray four-circle goniometer. The magnetostriction was measured by a shift of Bragg angle. This technique was suitable for a case to observe the magnetostrictive coefficient which varied as a function of the magnetic field direction. We applied the technique to a single crystal specimen of nickel and showed dependences of the magnetostriction on the magnetic field strength and its direction around an axis of easy magnetization at room temperature.  相似文献

The morphology of magnetic fluid droplets on magnetic thin film dots is studied experimentally, including the aspect ratio and the contact angle variation of the droplets. Under a uniform external magnetic field, the droplet's aspect ratio increases with the external field and with the diameter of the magnetic dot due to the concentrated magnetic flux inside the magnetic fluid droplet. Similar to the electrical wetting phenomenon, the induced magnetic dipoles in the magnetic film and in the magnetic fluid near the solid–liquid interface change the solid–liquid interfacial tension, and in consequence reduce the apparent contact angle of the magnetic fluid droplet.  相似文献

磁源定位及磁矩反演技术在空间探测、无损检测以及目标追踪等领域有着广泛的应用前景。利用磁场梯度张量信息进行磁源定位及磁矩反演的思想是在1975年首次提出的,2006年提出的磁性目标线性方程定位方法以其快速准确求解的特点而备受关注。但是,对于该梯度张量矩阵求逆法进行磁源定位的全方位的误差分析仍有待完善。在简要回顾梯度张量矩阵求逆法进行磁源定位的方法的基础上,提出了一种基于该方法的系统误差和随机误差分析的理论;研究结果表明定位误差是由于将差分近似为微分而引起的系统误差和传感器测量的随机误差构成。以目前具有超高精度、超高灵敏度的超导量子干涉仪作为典型磁场测量传感器,分析了梯度张量矩阵求逆法进行磁源定位及磁矩反演误差与传感器分辨率和相对误差水平之间的关系。  相似文献

In this paper, a Monte Carlo simulation is carried out to evaluate the equilibrium magnetization of magnetic multi-core nanoparticles in a liquid and subjected to a static magnetic field. The particles contain a magnetic multi-core consisting of a cluster of magnetic single-domains of magnetite. We show that the magnetization of multi-core nanoparticles cannot be fully described by a Langevin model. Inter-domain dipolar interactions and domain magnetic anisotropy contribute to decrease the magnetization of the particles, whereas the single-domain size distribution yields an increase in magnetization. Also, we show that the interactions affect the effective magnetic moment of the multi-core nanoparticles.  相似文献

This paper presents an important improvement for precise AC magnetic measurement under sinusoidal magnetic flux by using the digital feedback of harmonic compensation. Core loss-testing can be simply carried out with the sinusoidal magnetic flux even at a magnetic induction up to 1.87 T. The principle, circuit diagram, experimental results and its analysis are reported. Also it is found that the hysteresis loss per cycle P is smaller after correcting the magnetic flux waveform than before.  相似文献

在有梯度的静磁场中,对由软磁材料制作的磁屏蔽罩所受的静磁力的量级进行了评估。使用有限元分析和实验测试的方法研究了纯铁方形屏蔽罩在梯度静磁场中的受力情况,结果表明:把内腔尺寸100mm×100mm×150mm、罩体厚度为20mm的方形屏蔽罩放置在强度约为0.2T、梯度为0.03T?m?1的磁场中,其所受的静磁力约为184N,与其自身重力相当;静磁力随磁场强度的升高而增大;有限元分析与实验测试结果的偏差在0.2T背景磁场下约为21%。因此,在考虑一定余量的情况下,使用有限元计算评估屏蔽罩在静磁场中的受力情况是一种有效和比较可靠的方法。  相似文献
