The temporal dependence of X-ray excited scintillation from Eu3+-activated lutetium oxide transparent optical ceramic has been studied both experimentally and theoretically. The waveform of the decay was measured on time scales ranging from to . Kinetic equations were applied and a computational model was developed to describe the observed temporal behavior. This model involves two overlapping Gaussian distributions of trap depths; those ranging from 0.58 to may contribute to afterglow.  相似文献

Ab initio CI electronic dipole transition moments have been calculated for the transitions between singlet states of the hydrogen molecule correlating asymptotically with H(nl)+H(1s) (n=1,2,3). The investigated singlet-singlet transitions include the 30 (n=3) inter-Rydberg transitions and the 32 transitions which may contribute to absorption in the far wings of the Balmer α line of atomic hydrogen perturbed by another hydrogen atom in its ground state. Results are presented for internuclear distances 1.0a0?R?12a0. The present results compare well with the previous theoretical calculations available for about half of the transitions treated in the present work. Thirty eight new transitions are presented. Adiabatic potential energies for the and and improved energies for the and states are reported as well.  相似文献

Spectral absorption cross-sections, kν (), have been measured in the 8.0 and bands of C2F6. Temperature and total (N2-broadening) pressure have been varied to represent the conditions specified in various models of the terrestrial atmosphere so that the absorption cross-sections can be applied directly to the optical remote-sensing of C2F6 in the atmosphere. The measured absolute intensities of the 8.0 and the bands are (1.636±0.003)×10−16 and (, respectively.  相似文献

Thermoluminescence (TL) studies of Eu2+ and Mn2+ doped BaMgAl10O17 (BAM) are reported and discussed. The TL spectra that are measured after irradiation with ultraviolet (120-) show a series of TL peaks between 100 and . The TL spectra are similar for BAM with the two dopants, which suggest that the shallow traps are typical for the BAM host lattice. Using the Hoogstraaten analysis trap depths between 0.1 and are determined. A model is proposed based on thermally activated recombination in local TL centres (not via the conduction band). Further support for this model is obtained from the observation that the TL signal is strongest for excitation around the band edge of BAM . Upon heating the samples in air all low temperature TL peaks decrease in intensity. In addition a new peak appears in the TL spectrum, which is connected with a deeper trap and also a partial oxidation of Eu2+ to Eu3+ is observed. The luminescence efficiency is lower and the UV induced degradation is faster after annealing in air. These results indicate that the shallow traps are related to oxygen vacancies. The shallow traps do not have a negative influence on performance (efficiency and degradation) of BAM as a lighting phosphor. The luminescence efficiency and stability are strongly influenced by the formation of Eu3+ and a deeper trap during annealing in air. Subsequent annealing in a reducing atmosphere restores the original properties.  相似文献

The , , and band spectra of HCSi radical were investigated by means of near-infrared diode laser spectroscopy to determine precise molecular constants for the and states. The detailed analysis of the rotationally resolved band spectra, studied for the first time in the present investigation, leads to the precise determination of molecular constants for the state associated with the Renner-Teller interaction. We obtained −0.15126663(53) and 495.00698(30) cm−1 as the Renner-Teller parameter ε and the bending vibrational frequency ω2, respectively. Based on the molecular constants for the and states, the rotational levels of the state were analyzed to obtain molecular constants and information on upper state perturbations. Using the available spectroscopic data, valence force fields for both the and states were estimated to aid in understanding the vibrational energy levels of the HCSi radical.  相似文献

The tetragonal (s.g. I4/mmm; #139) ThCr2Si2 is widely known as a structural type of the broad family of the so-called 122-like ternary phases which includes now more than 800 members. Among them the superconducting iron-pnictides (discovered in 2008, -earth metals) and the newest superconducting iron-chalcogenides (discovered in 2010, metals) have attracted recently enormous interest in this class of materials. Meanwhile, the data about the electronic, magnetic, and elastic properties of the ThCr2Si2 phase itself are still practically absent. Here, by means of first-principles calculations, the optimized structural parameters, spin ordering of the magnetic ground state, independent elastic constants, bulk, shear, and Young’s moduli, elastic anisotropy indexes, total and partial densities of states, and inter-atomic bonding picture for ThCr2Si2 were obtained for the first time and analyzed in comparison with the aforementioned most popular 122-like systems and .  相似文献

Measurements of near-infrared water vapour continuum using continuous wave cavity ring down spectroscopy (cw-CRDS) have been performed at around 10611.6 and . The continuum absorption coefficients for N2-broadening have been determined to be and at , and and at , respectively.These results represent the first near-IR continuum laboratory data determined within the complex spectral environment in the 940 nm water vapour band and are in reasonable agreement with simulations using the semiempirical CKD formulation.  相似文献
