For studying the interference between two Bose-Einstein condensates we introduce the atomic coherentstate (ACS) in the Schwinger bosonic realization along with the phase operator to directly calculate the interference pattern with steady relative phase cos Ф. Eigenstates of the density operator of condensates are classified as ACS is also demonstrated. The entangled state representation is used in some calculations.  相似文献

We find that a kind of atomic coherent state, formed as exp[ ξJ+-ξJ-]|00〉,when the SU(2) generators J± are taken as Fan's form J+=(1/2)(α1-α2)(α1-α2),J-=(1/2)(α1+α2)(α1+α2),and J0=(1/2)(α1α2-α1α2),is simultaneously a two-mode squeezed state. The entanglement of two atomic qubits, which are coupled to a coherent state field with different couplings, is studied. The dynamical evolution of the concurrence, which measures the degree of the entanglement between the two qubits, is plotted versus the scaled time gt. It is found that the two qubits can be entangled by the coherent state field even when they are initially prepared in the most mixed state, and for very weak field, the most mixed state can be more easily entangled than some pure states. It is also found that the entanglement between the qubits sensitively depends on the relative difference of the atomic couplings and the mean photon number of the field.  相似文献

We report on the phenomena of the periodic spontaneous collapse and revival in the dynamics of an atomic beam interacting with a single-mode and coherent-state light field. Conventional collapse and revival by Eberly et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 44(1980)1323 ] are presented in the case of the evolution with time of the population inversion. Here, we study the evolution with coupling strength of population inversion. We define the collapse and revival coupling strengths as characteristic parameters to describe the above collapse and revival. Furthermore, we present the analytic formulas for the population inversion, the collapse and revival coupling strengths.  相似文献

Taking into account the interaction between electrons and phonons, in the case without-rotating-wave aproximation, we study the entangling property between the mesoscopic circuit and environment at coherent state or equilibrium state. The result indicates that, in long time limit t →∞, the averages of charge and current in the circuit only depend on the average of the system at the initial state when the environment is initially at thermal equilibrimn. However, when the environment is initially at coherent state, the average of charge and current in the circuit is determined by the specific coherent state ensemble. Generally speaking, the entanglement between the circuit and environment will lead to the quantum state purity declining of the circuit, then the circuit emerges decoherent phenomenon, and so a mixed sta.te appears. Purity changes are related to the initial quantum state of environment and circuit. With the further evolution of time, coherence will be gradually restored, but cannot return to 1.  相似文献

Controlled quantum teleportation of superposed coherent states using GHZ entangled 3-mode coherent states is studied. Proposed scheme can be implemented experimentally using linear optical components such as a symmetric lossless beam splitter, two phase-shifters and two photon counters. Fidelity is found close to unity for appreciable mean number of photons in coherent states and is 0.99 for mean photon number equal to two.

多波混频是一种重要的非线性光学过程,其在非线性光学和量子信息科学中有重要的应用.本文详细讲述了该领域的进展.在频域中,首先通过电磁诱导透明在实验上得到了共存的四六波混频信号,继而观察到了它们之间伴随着能量交换和时空干涉的相互竞争.此外,两个竞争的四六波混频之间的抑制增强以及相应的AT分裂也被实验证实了.在空间域中,研究了因为两束泵浦光之间干涉导致的电磁诱导光栅,对多波混频信号的空间移动和分裂也进行了讨论,并且得到了带隙孤子,涡旋孤子,有荷偶极孤子,以及二维表面孤子.这些概念可以扩展到量子领域,并且与之相关的一些效应具有研究价值.本文同时也讨论了多波混频在腔量子电动力学中,里德堡态中,以及全固态量子计算中的发展前景以及潜在应用.  相似文献

We describe a recently introduced single-step traveling-wave quantum state engineering scheme using the one-dimensional coherent-state representation introduced by Janszky. In this representation, the photon number expansion of the output state is derived in a compact formula that is advantageous for numerical optimization.
