高温热管是公认的被动式高温传热器件,以及明显高于相同几何尺寸金属材料的当量导热率,使其成为研究热点,并具有广泛的应用前景。在高温热管的蒸汽流动中,当喉部流速达到声速后,会出现声速传热极限,主要表现为冷凝段温度持续降低,传热量停滞不增,以及蒸汽的阻塞状态。本文设计、制备了高温热管传热器件,以高频感应方式为热源,盘管式水冷套为冷源,搭建了可以定量测试高温热管声速极限的实验台,并应用理论模型进行了验证。实验测试了高温热管在高热流加热条件下的冷态启动过程,以及稳态传热状态下的温度、热流等基本物理量,并对此进行了理论分析。实验结果表明:长径比、加热热流、工作温度是影响高温热管声速极限的主要因素。  相似文献

The problem of kink stability of isothermal spherical self-similar flow in newtonian gravity is revisited. Using distribution theory we first develop a general formula of perturbations, linear or non-linear, which consists of three sets of differential equations, one in each side of the sonic line and the other along it. By solving the equations along the sonic line we find explicitly the spectrum, k, of the perturbations, whereby we obtain the stability criterion for the self-similar solutions. When the solutions are smoothly across the sonic line, our results reduce to those of Ori and Piran. To show such obtained perturbations can be matched to the ones in the regions outside the sonic line, we study the linear perturbations in the external region of the sonic line (the ones in the internal region are identically zero), by taking the solutions obtained along the line as the boundary conditions. After properly imposing other boundary conditions at spatial infinity, we are able to show that linear perturbations, satisfying all the boundary conditions, exist and do not impose any additional conditions on k. As a result, the complete treatment of perturbations in the whole spacetime does not alter the spectrum obtained by considering the perturbations only along the sonic line.  相似文献

Ruthenium-exchanged FAU-Y zeolite (RuY) was used as a recyclable catalyst for regioselective ring-opening of epoxides with indoles under irradiation of sonic waves. The unwanted reflection seriously baffles the practical applications of sonic crystals, such as for various acoustic lenses designed by utilizing the in-band properties of sonic crystals. Herein we introduce the concept of the antireflection coating into the sonic crystal-based devices. The efficiency of such accessorial structures is demonstrated well by an originally high reflection system. Promising perspectives can be anticipated in extending the antireflection coating layers into more general acoustic applications through a flexible design process.  相似文献

The kink stability of self-similar solutions of a massless scalar field with circular symmetry in 2 + 1 gravity is studied, and found that such solutions are unstable against the kink perturbations along the sonic line (self-similar horizon). However, when perturbations outside the sonic line are considered, and taking the ones along the sonic line as their boundary conditions, we find that non-trivial perturbations do not exist. In other words, the consideration of perturbations in the whole spacetime limits the unstable mode of the perturbations found along the sonic line, and the kink instability rises because of the incomplete treatment of the problem. As a result, the critical solution for the scalar collapse remains critical even after the kink perturbations are taken into account.  相似文献

An earlier paper [J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 98, 3412-3417 (1995)] reported on the comparison of rise times and overpressures of sonic booms calculated with a scattering center model of turbulence to measurements of sonic boom propagation through a well-characterized turbulent layer under moderately turbulent conditions. This detailed simulation used spherically symmetric scatterers to calculate the percentage of occurrence histograms of received overpressures and rise times. In this paper the calculation is extended to include distorted ellipsoidal turbules as scatterers and more accurately incorporates the meteorological data into a determination of the number of scatterers per unit volume. The scattering center calculation overpredicts the shifts in rise times for weak turbulence, and still underpredicts the shift under more turbulent conditions. This indicates that a single-scatter center-based model cannot completely describe sonic boom propagation through atmospheric turbulence.  相似文献

The last decade has seen a revival of sonic boom research, a direct result of the projected market for a new breed of supersonic passenger aircraft, its design, and its operation. One area of the research involves sonic boom penetration into the ocean, one concern being the possible disturbance of marine mammals from the noise generated by proposed high-speed civil transport (HSCT) flyovers. Although theory is available to predict underwater sound levels due to a sonic boom hitting a homogeneous ocean with a flat surface, theory for a realistic ocean, one with a wavy surface and bubbles near the surface, is missing and will be presented in this paper. First, reviews are given of a computational method to calculate the underwater pressure field and the effects of a simple wavy ocean surface on the impinging sonic boom. Second, effects are described for the implementation of three additional conditions: a sonic boom/ocean "wavelength" comparison, complex ocean surfaces, and bubbles near the ocean surface. Overall, results from the model suggest that the realistic ocean features affect the penetrating proposed HSCT sonic booms by modifying the underwater sound-pressure levels only about 1 decibel or less.  相似文献

An attempt has been made to model the acoustic pressure field and the spatial distribution of the cavitation phenomena in a dual frequency sonic processor. A methodology has been presented with numerical simulations to optimize the conditions of the dual frequency acoustic field. The simulations presented in this work reveal that with manipulation of the parameters (viz., frequency ratio and the pressure amplitude ratio of the two acoustic waves and the phase difference between the two waves) of the dual frequency acoustic field it is possible to control the mode (stable or transient) and spatial distribution of the cavitation events in the sonic processor. It has been shown that two major shortcomings of the sonic reactor, viz., directional sensitivity of the cavitation events and erosion of the sonicator surface can be overcome by application of a dual frequency acoustic field.  相似文献

A theoretical study of the response of a flat plate to a sonic boom excitation is presented. For such a study, the problem of transient vibrations of elastic plates having clamped or simply supported boundary conditions under a pulse load in the shape of a capital N corresponding to a typical far-field sonic boom disturbance is discussed in a new fashion by using the concept of iso-amplitude contour lines on the surface of the plate. Series solutions consisting of products of eigenfunctions times functions of time are employed to analyse the motions. As an illustration of the technique, an elliptical plate subjected to a typical N wave arriving at normal incidence is chosen as a model because this involves a curvilinear boundary of a relatively simple shape, yet has no simple exact solution. Closed form solutions are obtained for both clamped as well as simply supported edges. The results have technical importance for the prediction of response of window panes and wall-panels to sonic boom. All details are explained by graphs.  相似文献

Gravity/fluid correspondence acts as an important tool in investigating the strongly correlated fluids.We carefully investigate the holographic fluids at the finite cutoff surface by considering different boundary conditions in the scenario of gravity/fluid correspondence. We find that the sonic velocity of the boundary fluids at the finite cutoff surface is critical in clarifying the superficial similarity between the bulk viscosity and perturbation of the pressure for the holographic fluid, where we set a special boundary condition at the finite cutoff surface to explicitly express this superficial similarity. Moreover, we further take the sonic velocity into account to investigate a case with a more general boundary condition. In this more genaral case, although two parameters in the first order stress tensor of holographic fluid cannot be fixed, one can still extract the information about the transport coefficients by considering the sonic velocity seriously.  相似文献

The conventional antireflection coating (ARC) structure for sonic crystal devices is to place the cylinders at the interface between a sonic crystal device and a background medium. The radius of ARC cylinders and the distance between the ARC and the sonic crystal device are adjusted to obtain an optimal antireflection effect. We propose that ARC structures are directly designed by using the conventional ARC theory instead of scanning the geometric and spatial parameters of the conventional ARC structures. According to the concept of the effective refractive index of sonic crystals, the exact ARC structures can be implemented by sonic crystals. The transmission efficiency of a bending waveguide designed by graded sonic crystals can be enhanced by introducing the ARC structures based on sonic crystals. The performances of different ARC structure designs are compared and discussed.  相似文献

The frequency effect of low-MHz ultrasound was studied by using the electrical detection method. The experimental data and theoretical analysis results showed that an appropriate frequency value of ultrasound can be chosen to make a sonochemical reaction give its maximum yield according to the distribution of bubbles in liquid. A Gaussian shape distribution of gas bubble radii is to be expected in a water sample with a normal air atmosphere. In addition, the experimental data indicated that comparison of the effect of frequency on the sonochemical efficiency should be carried out under conditions of not only the same sonic power but also the same sonic intensity.  相似文献

In order to determine the effect of the number of sonic boom occurrences on annoyance, a computer-based system was developed for studying the subjective response of people to the occurrence of simulated sonic booms in their homes. The system provided a degree of control over the noise exposure not found in community surveys and a degree of situational realism not available in the laboratory. A system was deployed for eight weeks in each of 33 homes. Each day from 4 to 63 sonic booms were played as the test subject went about his or her normal activities. At the end of the day, the test subjects rated their annoyance to the sonic booms heard during the day. The sonic booms consisted of different combinations of waveforms, levels, and occurrence rates. The experiment confirmed that the increase in annoyance resulting from multiple occurrences can be modeled by the addition of the term "10 * log(number of occurrences)" to the sonic boom level. Of several noise metrics considered, perceived level was the best annoyance predictor. Comparisons of the subjective responses to the different sonic boom waveforms found no differences that were not accounted for by the noise metrics.  相似文献

The theory of a periodic flow of a conducting magnetized liquid in the presence of an ac current passing through it is described. It is shown that the flow arising under these conditions is of pseudosound character rather than sonic, as stated in some publications. Detection reliability of sonic infrared imaging is one of the increasingly important aspects for out of lab applications. And for the detection reliability evaluation, probability of detection (POD) for different defects under given test conditions has been successfully used as an accepted quantitative measurement. In this study, we test a set of C45 ferritic steel plates with artificial fatigue cracks. Experimental results show that the crack heating response increases with the increasing crack length, and the relationship between the logarithmic form of heat response signal and the crack length appears to be linear. Based on the above statistic characteristics, the linear regression analysis and the Wald method are adopted to estimate the POD function and its confidence interval. The study aims to provide a quantitative evaluation method for detection reliability in sonic infrared imaging.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to zinc corrosion and oxidation mechanism in an ultrasonically stirred aerated sodium sulfate electrolyte. It follows a previous study devoted to the influence of 20 kHz ultrasound upon zinc corrosion in NaOH electrolytes [Ultrason. Sonochemis. 8 (2001) 291]. In the present work, various ultrasound regimes were applied by changing the transmitted power and the wave frequency (20 and 40 kHz). Unlike NaOH electrolyte which turns the zinc electrode into a passive state, Na2SO4 saline media induces soft corrosion conditions. This allows a study of the combined effects of ultrasonically modified hydrodynamic and mechanical damage (cavitation) upon the zinc corrosion process. A series of initial experiments were carried out so as to determine the transmitted power and to characterize mass transfer distribution in the electrochemical cell. Zinc corrosion and oxidation process were subsequently studied with respect to the vibrating parameters. When exposed to a 20 kHz ultrasonic field, and provided that the electrode is situated at a maximum mass transfer point, the corrosion rate reaches values six to eight times greater than in silent conditions. The zinc oxidation reaction, in the absence of competitive reduction reactions, is also activated by ultrasound (20 and 40 kHz) but probably through a different process of surface activation.  相似文献

Changes in the structural, molecular and functional properties of the immunogenic corn cob xylan evoked by ultrasonication in water, 1% NaOH and 5% NaOH were investigated. The reduction of the high molar mass (MM) fraction was more intense than that of the medium MM fraction, depending on the sonic power, sonication time, and alkali concentration. The chain degradation was more effective in the alkaline media. The UV-absorbing component, accompanying the xylan polymers in the whole MM range, showed an accumulation in the high MM region as well as shiftening to higher sizes, particularly in 5% NaOH. The sugar composition and primary structure of the xylan was almost retained under all irradiation conditions studied. Although the biological activity of the xylan was affected by the ultrasound, no significant decrease of the biological response was found at short irradiation time and low sonic power.  相似文献
