The fidelity and entanglement entropy in an antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic alternating Heisenberg chain are investigated by using the method of density-matrix renormalization-group. The effects of anisotropy on fidelity and entanglement entropy are investigated. The relations between fidelity, entanglement entropy and quantum phase transition are analyzed. It is found that the quantum phase transition point can be well characterized by both the ground-state entropy and fidelity for large system.  相似文献

By using the method of density-matrix renormalization group, the reduced fidelity and entanglement in the one-dimensional bond-alternating S = 1 Heisenberg chain are investigated. The results demonstrate that the quantum phase transition from the Haldane phase to the dimer phase can be characterized by the reduced fidelity and the first derivation of the entanglement entropy. Through the finite-size scaling, the critical point and the critical exponent of the correlation length are obtained accurately.  相似文献

The quantum teleportation with the entangled thermal state is investigated based on the completely anisotropic Heisenberg chain in the presence of the externally inhomogeneous magnetic field. The effects of the anisotropy and magnetic field for the quantum fidelity are studied in detail. The zero temperature limit and the features of the nonzero temperature for this nonclassical fidelity are obt8ained. We find that the quantum teleportation demands more stringent conditions than the thermal entanglement of the resource by investigating the threshold temperature of the thermal concurrence and the critical temperature of the maximal teleportation fidelity. The useful quantum teleportation should avoid the point of the phase transition of the system and the anisotropy of the chain and the external magnetic field can control the applicability of the resource in the quantum teleportation.  相似文献

We consider a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain as a resource for quantum teleportation via the standard teleportation protocol To. The effects of anisotropic on teleportation fidelity and entanglement are studied in detail. We find anisotropic not only improves the criticM temperature Tc and criticM magnetic field Bc, beyond which quantum teleportation is inferior to classicM communication protocol, but also enhances the fidelity for fixed magnetic field B and temperature T. For entanglement teleportation, the effects of magnetic field on average fidelity and output entanglement are studied.  相似文献

We study the polaronic crossover properties in the two-site Holstein model by the quantum entanglement and the fidelity. Based on the exact wave function obtained by the extended bosonic coherent states, the linear entropy and the fidelity are evaluated. The maximum of the entanglement between the electron and surrounding phonons is observed in a small polaron regime. A smooth change (no singularity) of the ground-state fidelity as well as its susceptibility appears in the intermediate coupling regime, which confirms a crossover rather than a phase transition in this system by this quantum information tool. In addition, the results for some quantities in the weak-coupling and strong-coupling limit are given analytically.  相似文献

We study the field dependence of the entanglement of formation in anisotropic S=1/2 antiferromagnetic chains displaying a T=0 field-driven quantum phase transition. The analysis is carried out via quantum Monte Carlo simulations. At zero temperature the entanglement estimators show abrupt changes at and around criticality, vanishing below the critical field, in correspondence with an exactly factorized state, and then immediately recovering a finite value upon passing through the quantum phase transition. At the quantum-critical point, a deep minimum in the pairwise-to-global entanglement ratio shows that multispin entanglement is strongly enhanced; moreover this signature represents a novel way of detecting the quantum phase transition of the system, relying entirely on entanglement estimators.  相似文献

By Lanczos exact diagonalization and the infinite time-evolving block decimation (iTEBD) technique, the two-site entanglement as well as the bipartite entanglement, the ground state energy, the nearest-neighbor correlations, and the magnetization in the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg (AFH) model under an external field are investigated. With increasing external field, the small size system shows some distinct upward magnetization stairsteps, accompanied synchronously with some downward two-site entanglement stairsteps. In the thermodynamic limit, the two-site entanglement, as well as the bipartite entanglement, the ground state energy, the nearest-neighbor correlations, and the magnetization are calculated, and the critical magnetic field h(c) = 2.0 is determined exactly. Our numerical results show that the quantum entanglement is sensitive to the subtle changing of the ground state, and can be used to describe the magnetization and quantum phase transition. Based on the discontinuous behavior of the first-order derivative of the entanglement entropy and fidelity per site, we think that the quantum phase transition in this model should belong to the second-order category. Furthermore, in the magnon existence region (h < 2.0), a logarithmically divergent behavior of block entanglement which can be described by a free bosonic field theory is observed, and the central charge c is determined to be 1.  相似文献

The entanglement properties of a three-spin X X Z Heisenberg chain with three-spin interaction are studied by means of concurrence of pairwise entanglement. We show that ground-state pairwise entanglement, pairwise thermal entanglement, or quantum phase transition is not present in antiferromagnetic spin chain. For the ferromagnetic case, quantum phase transition takes place at △ = 1 for anisotropic interaction and at some values of three-spin coupling strength, and pairwise thermal entanglement increases when the value of J/T increases and with anisotropic interaction and three-spin interaction decrease. In addition, we find that increasing the anisotropic interaction and the three-spin interaction will decrease critical temperature.  相似文献

We study quantum fidelity, the overlap between two ground states of a many-body system, focusing on the thermodynamic regime. We show how a drop in fidelity near a critical point encodes universal information about a quantum phase transition. Our general scaling results are illustrated in the quantum Ising chain for which a remarkably simple expression for fidelity is found.  相似文献

The quantum phase transition in the isotropic XY chain with three-site interaction has been studied by calculating the quantum discord, classical correlation, and concurrence measuring entanglement. It is found that the quantum discord is a better choice than concurrence to signal the presence of the quantum phase transition in this model, since that for next-nearest neighbor spins the derivative of the quantum discord still exhibits singularity at the critical point while there is no more entanglement.  相似文献

We investigate two solvable models for Bose-Einstein condensates and extract physical information by studying the structure of the solutions of their Bethe ansatz equations. A careful observation of these solutions for the ground state of both models, as we vary some parameters of the Hamiltonian, suggests a connection between the behavior of the roots of the Bethe ansatz equations and the physical behavior of the models. Then, by the use of standard techniques for approaching quantum phase transition - gap, entanglement and fidelity - we find that the change in the scenery in the roots of the Bethe ansatz equations is directly related to a quantum phase transition, thus providing an alternative method for its detection.  相似文献

We experimentally demonstrate quantum teleportation for continuous variables by using squeezed-state entanglement. A fidelity expression for a real experimental system is presented, where all the imperfection factors are considered, including losses and phase fluctuations. The measured fidelity for input coherent states is 0.62 and the prospective result with our measured entanglement and efficiencies is 0.69. We will show the details of the quantum teleportation for continuous variable and discuss the problems for further improvement in this experiment.  相似文献

We study the thermal entanglement and teleportation using quantum dot as the quantum channel. We firstly investigate the evolution of entanglement in the vertical quantum dot, then focus on the effects of the important parameters of the system on the teleported fidelity under different conditions. We obtain the critical temperature of suddenly dead entanglement. Based on Bell measurements in two subspaces, the isotropy and anisotropy subspaces, we can find that the anisotropy measurements always overmatch the isotropy ones. Moreover, we obtain the high-fidelity teleportation for quantum dot as quantum channel when the parameters are adjusted. The possible applications of quantum dot are expected in quantum teleportation  相似文献

We study quantum teleportation via a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain under an inhomogeneous magnetic field. We first consider entanglement teleportation, and then focus on the teleportation fidelity under different conditions. The effects of anisotropy and the magnetic field, both uniform and inhomogeneous, are discussed. We also find that, though entanglement teleportation does require an entangled quantum channel, a nonzero critical value of minimum entanglement is not always necessary.  相似文献

We develop the perturbation theory of the fidelity susceptibility in biorthogonal bases for arbitrary interacting non-Hermitian many-body systems with real eigenvalues. The quantum criticality in the non-Hermitian transverse field Ising chain is investigated by the second derivative of the ground-state energy and the ground-state fidelity susceptibility. We show that the system undergoes a second-order phase transition with the Ising universal class by numerically computing the critical points and the critical exponents from the finite-size scaling theory. Interestingly, our results indicate that the biorthogonal quantum phase transitions are described by the biorthogonal fidelity susceptibility instead of the conventional fidelity susceptibility.  相似文献

We consider the standard quantum teleportation protocol where a general bipartite state is used as entanglement resource. We use the entanglement fidelity to describe how well the standard quantum teleportation channel transmits quantum entanglement and give a simple expression for the entanglement fidelity when it is averaged on all input states.  相似文献

We show that the reduced fidelity susceptibility in the family of one-dimensional XY model obeys scaling behavior in the vicinity of quantum critical points both analytically and numerically. The logarithmic divergence behavior suggests that the reduced fidelity susceptibility can act as an indicator of quantum phase transition.  相似文献

The ground-state entanglement associated with a three-spin transverse Ising model is studied. By introducing an energy current into the system, a quantum phase transition to energy-current phase may be presented with the variation of external magnetic field; and the ground-state entanglement varies suddenly at the critical point of quantum phase transition. In our model, the introduction of energy current makes the entanglement between any two qubits become maximally robust.
