提出了在数据包长可变的自相似业务下研究光纤延时线所组成的光缓存问题的解析模型.利用Pareto到达过程来模拟自相似业务.研究表明,缓存深度越大,包丢失率越低,而且存在与业务强度对应的最佳光纤延时线单位,使得在给定的缓存深度下,数据包丢失率最小,在业务强度和缓存深度相同时,Pareto到达比Poisson到达有更大的包丢失率.  相似文献

随着全光接入网的不断发展,接入速率不断提高,对于边缘节点发送来的高速数据业务也必须进行流量梳理。为了适应未来全光高速网络接入的需求,基于光纤延迟线(Fiber delay lines,FDLs)结构,构造了一种简单高效的全光包交换网络边缘汇聚节点。并针对光线延迟线结构,提出一种新的主动缓存队列管理模型来分析节点性能,得到了与以往研究不同的结果。同时在对节点性能分析的基础上,提出一种新的FDLs的排列方式,在缓存深度相同的情况下,大大提高了FDLs的效率,实现了对到来的具有自相似性的数据业务的合理调配。  相似文献

为了有效地降低突发包的丢失率和保证OBS网络中不同优先级业务的服务质量,提出了一种基于优先级与突发包分割的偏射路由机制.当冲突发生时,首先基于突发包的优先级进行"竞争突发包头部分割或者原突发包尾部分割"处理;无冲突部分直接在事先预留的输出数据信道上处理,冲突部分的分割突发包根据参数可调的偏射路由机制被偏射到最佳偏射路径上.仿真结果表明,该机制能够有效地降低整个网络的丢包率和端到端的延时,并且得到高优先级突发包的丢失率和延时低于低优先级突发包.由此可知,基于优先级与突发包分割的偏射路由机制能够有效地解决突发包的冲突问题,从而提高整个OBS网络的性能.  相似文献

研究了异步光分组网中的输出光缓存问题,与以往不同的是在处理光分组到达时间间隔时采用Weibull分布,以便更有效地描述互联网中的WWW业务流量类型.通过建立基于Weibull分布的排队模型,得到了排队模型中的丢包率的解析式,并根据数值解得出了光缓存系统的丢包率、系统实际利用率、服务窗口利用率以及平均排队时间随光纤延时线单位缓存时间变化的关系曲线.研究结果表明:在不同的业务强度和缓存深度下选取恰当的单位缓存时间,可以优化光缓存系统的性能.  相似文献

对服务质量(QoS)中的队列机制进行了重点的分析, 并对先进先出(FIFO)以及具有优先级(PQ)的两种队列机制的特点进行了详细的比较。具有优先级(PQ)队列可以降低高优先级业务的平均排队时延, 但却无法保证时延抖动的要求。提出了基于具有优先级队列机制的改进方案。仿真结果表明, 新的排队机制有效得解决了具有优先级(PQ)排队机制中无法保证高优先级(视频)业务传输中的时延抖动问题, 当初始时延分布差别很大的数据包在经过节点排队调度之后, 时延抖动有了明显改善。  相似文献

为了解决用有限的码字来实现多于码字数目的多媒体工作站间的信息通信,提出一种基于光码分多址(Optical Code Division Multiple Access,OCDMA)技术的塑料光纤接入网的多优先级控制协议. 该协议通过使用预约方案和仲裁算法可以有效地解决信道冲突和目的地址的冲突问题,可以支持多媒体信息传输中各类信息不同的时间延迟要求.通过建立一个离散马尔科夫链模型对塑料光纤接入网的网络吞吐量和平均延时时间进行了数值分析和仿真实验,结果证明,这种多优先级控制协议能够适应多媒体网络中各类业务对信号时延要求的不同进行信道的优先级分配.  相似文献

为了解决偏射算法在偏射控制上的问题,提出了一种基于优先级和门限的偏射路由算法.该算法采用丢弃少量偏射的高优先级分割突发数据包来保证偏射路由上低优先级非偏射突发数据包的QoS.当冲突发生时,分割偏射优先级低的突发数据包,从而保护高优先级突发数据包;在偏射路由上,通过启用偏射检测函数来判断是允许偏射的分割突发数据包抢占资源或是丢弃偏射的分割突发数据包.仿真结果表明,虽然该算法增加了少量的端到端的传输时延,但这种算法可以很好地控制偏射突发对网络偏射路由上正常流量的影响,并且能够有效地降低整个网络的丢包率,很好地保护高优先级突发数据包的完整性.故这种方法能够有效地提高OBS网络的性能.  相似文献

提出一种基于光码分多址(OCDMA)技术的塑料光纤接入网的多优先级控制协议.由于受传输误码率的限制,常规的光码分多址系统只允许有限个用户传输数据或接入网络,为了解决用有限的码字来实现多于码字数目的多媒体工作站间的信息通信,这种多优先级的控制协议通过使用预约和随机分配算法可以有效地解决信道冲突和目的地址的冲突问题, 该协议可以支持多媒体信息传输中各类信息不同的时间延迟要求.另外,在该接入网中,每个光网络单元均设有两套光编码器和光解码器,一套用于控制信道,另一套用于各个数据信道.利用本文提出的协议对塑料光纤接入网的网络吞吐量和平均延时时间进行了数值分析和仿真实验,结果证明了这种多优先级控制协议的有效性和高效性.  相似文献

本文采用了M/G/1/K排队模型对Darwin标准草案中建议的弹性分组环网的分组传输延时进行了性能分析,结果表明不同优先级的业务等待延时不同,高优先级分组在网络中传输延时最低,中优先级分组的延时仅略低于低优先级分组,当网络规模增加时,这种差距逐渐减小甚至可以忽略;并且从理论上推导出网络最大吞吐量,这对于制定相关标准、设计和规划实用网络具有重要指导作用.  相似文献

研究了时隙光分组交换网中的光缓存配置方案,针对反馈共享式缓存结构,通过对传统的连续分布式光缓存结构中不同延迟粒度的光缓存丢包的分布情况仿真结果研究,发现在传统的连续分布式光缓存结构中,丢包主要发生在小粒度的光缓存上,为此,提出通过适当增加小粒度的光缓存的方法,达到有效地降低丢包率,仿真结果显示,这种光缓存方案可以明显降低节点的丢包率.  相似文献

This paper aims to analyze the influence of wavelength conversion on the design of optical fiber delay line (FDL) buffers in a wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) packet switch. We focus on the network scenario that variable-length packets arrive at the optical switch asynchronously. Through a detailed analysis of the behaviors of packets in the WDM FDL buffer, an approximate analytical traffic model is established. And the theoretical model is proved to be reasonable by simulations. Based on the model, it is clear that, under the same traffic load per wavelength channel, the utilization of tunable wavelength converters (TWCs) to resolve the output contention significantly reduces the number of fiber delay lines (FDLs) in optical buffers, and to achieve a given packet loss probability under a certain number of FDLs, the required number of tunable wavelengths can be predicted. The model can also estimate the optimal value of the basic time unit of the FDLs, and examine the influence of WDM on the optimal value. Finally, the impact of wavelength conversion on the optical switch size is analyzed. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first time that modeling on this problem is presented.  相似文献

对反馈FDL结构的光分组交换竞争解决方案建立了数学模型并进行了理论分析,推导出了在反馈FDL输入分组比输入光纤输入分组具有更高输出优先级时的系统丢包率公式,对系统丢包率与负载、输入光纤端口数和FDL数目的关系进行了数值计算和讨论.结果表明:由于FDL缓存分组的概率与输入分组负载的非线性关系导致了反馈FDL结构在低负载时对丢包率的改善非常明显,对高负载的改善却十分有限.随着FDL数目的增加,对系统丢包率的改善不会趋于一个极限值,这是与使用波长转换器进行竞争解决的不同之处,因此使用反馈FDL结构可以降低波长转换器的丢包率极限.  相似文献

Packet contention is a major issue in optical packet switching network and it is not a trivial task to resolve due to lack of optical RAM technology. In order to resolve contention optical buffering approach is used using fiber delay lines (FDLs). Yet there is a heavy packet loss rate due to unavailability of output port and free FDLs. This paper proposes a hybrid buffering architecture using feed-forward and feedback shared FLDs to resolve packet contention resolution of an optical packet switch. Feed-forward FDLs are used as primary buffer and feedback FDLs are implemented as supplementary buffer. Simulation result shows that proposed hybrid buffering switch achieves packet loss rate between 10−1 and 10−2 at heavy traffic load (ρ = 0.9) for a 32 × 32 switch using different FDL length.  相似文献

研究了光分组交换网络中的两种竞争解决方案.结合课题研究的进展,基于突发和非突发业务,对这两种竞争处理结构进行了深入分析,得出了几点重要结论,首先,在竞争处理上,对于非突发业务,光纤延迟线比可调谐波长转换器有效;而对于突发业务而言,可调谐波长转换器比光纤延迟线有效.其次,在突发业务下反馈式光纤延迟线结构(FFA)是一种较为理想的竞争解决结构,但对非突发业务而言,反馈式光纤延迟线和可调谐波长转换器结构(FFTA)在成本上和结构尺寸上比FFA要有效的多.随着平均突发长度的增加,FFTA中的可调谐波长转换器数目也要增加才能获得合理的分组丢失率。但无论是针对突发业务还是非突发业务,FFTA都是一种成本有效的竞争解决结构.  相似文献

In this paper, a single relay cooperative diversity network model is proposed, analyzing queuing delay of the packets at relay node. Using dynamic radio link adaptation in wireless networks, based on the character of GBN-ARQ protocol and the queuing theory, the paper solves the problem that packets wait to transmit at relay, and presents a relay node to destination node queuing analysis model for GBN-ARQ protocol with fixed feedback delay. The paper establishes Markov model of packet transmission, and the delay statistics at relay node are figured out by using matrix geometric methods.  相似文献

It is commonly assumed that one can always assign a direction-upward or downward-to a percept of pitch change. The present study shows that this is true for some, but not all, listeners. Frequency difference limens (FDLs, in cents) for pure tones roved in frequency were measured in two conditions. In one condition, the task was to detect frequency changes; in the other condition, the task was to identify the direction of frequency changes. For three listeners, the identification FDL was about 1.5 times smaller than the detection FDL, as predicted (counterintuitively) by signal detection theory under the assumption that performance in the two conditions was limited by one and the same internal noise. For three other listeners, however, the identification FDL was much larger than the detection FDL. The latter listeners had relatively high detection FDLs. They had no difficulty in identifying the direction of just-detectable changes in intensity, or in the frequency of amplitude modulation. Their difficulty in perceiving the direction of small frequency/pitch changes showed up not only when the task required absolute judgments of direction, but also when the directions of two successive frequency changes had to be judged as identical or different.  相似文献

Optical burst switching is a switching technology that is able to provide viable switching for optical internet with the present day technology. This paper presents a new medium access protocol for wavelength division multiplexing based optical burst switched metro ring network namely distributed queue optical burst switched ring (DQOBSR). It is a slotted, distributed queue access protocol with fixed bus structure and simple wavelength assignment. The topology consists of two unidirectional, counter rotating rings and the medium access protocol is based on distributed queuing. The protocol provides zero blocking with acceptable access delays. A mathematical model is also presented to determine the mean access delay which is the important performance parameter for the protocol. The simulation and model based results are compared and found to be in good agreement.  相似文献

Low earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellations using laser inter-satellite links (ISLs) are recognized as a promising technology to provide global broadband network services. In this paper, the queuing delay model of an optical space network built on LEO satellite constellations is established. It is assumed that the optical space network employs wavelength division multiplexing ISLs with wavelength routing technology to communication satellites and makes routing decisions. With consideration of the network task characterizations such as distribution of task arrival time and task holding duration, simulation experiment results are analyzed and the expression of optical space network queuing delay is given. Both theoretical analysis and simulation results show that features of queuing delay vary with distribution characterizations of the network tasks. It is hoped that the study can be helpful to evaluate the design of constellation networking.  相似文献
