We proposed a scheme for generating fully three-mode continuous-variable (CV) entanglement between three nondegenerate cavity modes in a single-atom laser. In our scheme, the single-atom laser consists of a four-level atom inside a triply resonant cavity, and the atomic coherence is induced by two classical laser fields driving the corresponding atomic transitions. To demonstrate the generation of entanglement, we numerically simulated the dynamics of this system, and the numerical simulation shows that the single-atom laser considered here can be seen as a three-mode CV entanglement amplifier even in the presence of cavity losses. Moreover, we also show that the generation of entanglement doesn’t depend intensively on the initial condition of cavity field, and the fully three-mode CV entanglement can be realized no matter the three entangled (nondegenerate) modes are initially in the same state or different states based on our scheme.  相似文献

We propose a new scheme to achieve fully three-mode entanglement based on the standard criteria [P. van Loock and A. Furusawa, Phys. Rev. A 67, 052315 (2003)] in a four-level atomic system driven by two strong classical fields. Via numerically simulating the dynamics of the system, we investigate the generation and evolution of entanglement. Based on our scheme, it is demonstrated that the three-mode continuous-variable (CV) entanglement can be achieved under different initial conditions and the entangled period will be extended by enhancing the intensity of the classical field. Moreover, our numerical results also show that the present system can be considered as a three-mode entanglement amplifier.  相似文献

We develop three-mode generalizations of the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paradox, allowing us to define inequalities which may be used to indicate continuous-variable tripartite entanglement. We use these inequalities and an appropriate version of the previously developed van Loock-Furusawa inequalities to theoretically compare the continuous-variable tripartite entanglement available from the use of three concurrent x (2) nonlinearities and from three independent squeezed states mixed on beamsplitters. We devise the optimal form of Gaussian resource states enabling continuous-variable teleportation with maximal fidelity. We show that a nonclassical optimal fidelity of N-user teleportation networks is necessary and sufficient for N-party entangled Gaussian resources, yielding an estimator of multipartite entanglement. The entanglement of teleportation is equivalent to the entanglement of formation in a two-user protocol, and to the localizable entanglement in a multiuser one. Finally, we show that the continuous-variable tangle, quantifying entanglement sharing in three-mode Gaussian states, is defined operationally in terms of the optimal fidelity of a tripartite teleportation network.  相似文献

We present a scheme to generate tripartite continuous-variable entanglement at the steady state by using an ensemble of Na five-level double-Λ ? V atoms embedded in a three-mode cavity. The scheme is based on the two-channel resonant four-wave mixing, which leads to the parametric interaction between the sum mode of two fields from the upper double-Λ system and the mode from the lower V system. It is for such reason that three cavity modes are correlated and entangled. The present scheme has the following two striking features. One is that the steady-state tripartite entanglement is achieved under the full-resonance condition. Another feature is the fact that all the fields are coupled to the different atomic transitions, respectively. In particular, the tripartite entanglement occurs among the fields with the large frequency differences, which may be necessary for the progress of quantum information.  相似文献

We propose a scheme to generate three-mode-entangled lights by means of the interaction between the four-level atoms and a three-mode cavity. We deduce the master equation of the cavity field and prove the existence of the three-mode entanglement by employing the criterion of positivity of partial transpose. We also discuss the effects of the initial atomic state and of the Rabi frequency of the classical pumping field on the entanglement and amplification.  相似文献

We present a scheme to obtain continuous-variable multimode entanglement via multi-wave mixing. For a four-level atomic system in a diamond configuration, four strong coherence fields are applied to the four dipole-allowed transitions to amplify eight sidebands as cavity fields, respectively. Due to the atomic coherence, the eight side modes constitute a pair of double quantum-beats and combine into two quantum-beat collective modes, which are in a four-wave mixing parametric interaction. As a result, the entanglement occurs between these two collective modes. Correspondingly, any two individual modes from two different collective modes are entangled with each other. This gives rise to continuous-variable eight-mode entanglement with different frequencies, which has extensively application in quantum communication and quantum network.  相似文献

We demonstrate the generation of two-mode continuous-variable (CV) entanglement in a V-type three-level atom trapped in a doubly resonant cavity using a microwave field driving a hyperfine transition between two upper excited states. By numerically simulating the dynamics of this system, our results show that the CV entanglement with large mean number of photons can be generated even in presence of the atomic relaxation and cavity losses. More interestingly, it is found that the intensity and period of entanglement can be enhanced significantly with the increasing of the atomic relaxation due to the existence of the perfect spontaneously generated interference between two atomic decay channels. Moreover, we also show that the entanglement can be controlled efficiently by tuning the intensity of spontaneously generated interference and the detuning of the cavity field.  相似文献

量子纠缠是一种重要的量子资源,在多个空间分离的量子存储器间建立确定性的量子纠缠,然后在用户控制的时刻将所存储的量子纠缠转移到量子信道中进行信息的分发和传送,这对于实现量子信息网络是至关重要的.本文介绍了用光学参量放大器制备与铷原子D1吸收线对应的非经典光场,而且在三个空间分离的原子系综中确定性量子纠缠的产生、存储和转移.利用电磁感应透明光和原子相互作用的原理,将制备的多组分光场纠缠态模式映射到三个远距离的原子系综以建立原子自旋波之间的纠缠.然后,存储在原子系综中的纠缠态通过三个量子通道,纠缠态的量子噪声被转移到三束空间分离的正交纠缠光场.三束释放的光场间纠缠的存在验证了该系统具有保持多组分纠缠的能力.这个方案实现了三个量子节点间的纠缠,并且可以直接扩展到具有更多节点的量子网络,为未来实现大型量子网络通信奠定了基础.  相似文献

We study entangling and disentangling functions of optical Fourier multiport devices in which input-output relation for the creation and annihilation operators is given by a finite Fourier transform. It is shown that these Fourier multiport devices can act as entanglement converters which can not only create entanglement from an unentangled state at the input but also destroy entanglement in an entangled state at the input. Creation and destruction of two-mode and three-mode entangled coherent states (ECSs) are investigated in detail. The creation and destruction of Bell-type two-mode ECS, GHZ-type and W-type three-mode ECSs are indicated explicitly through using Fourier four-port and six-port devices, respectively.  相似文献

We investigate the generation and the evolution of continuous-variable (CV) entanglement from a laser-driven four-state atom inside a doubly resonant cavity under Raman excitation. Two transitions in the four-state atom independently interact with the two cavity modes, while two other transitions are driven by coupling laser fields. By including the atomic relaxation as well as cavity losses, we show that the CV entanglement with large mean number of
photons can be generated in our scheme. We also show that the intensity of the coupling laser fields can influence effectively the entanglement period of the cavity field. Different from the conventional resonant excitation scheme where zero one-photon detuning are required, it is found that the intensity and period of entanglement between the two cavity modes as well as the total mean photon number of the cavity field can be adjusted by properly

Quantum entangled states, especially those having particular properties, are key resources for quantum information and quantum computation. In this paper, we put forward a new scheme to produce 31 continuous–variable(CV) tripartite entanglement fields based on three optical frequency combs via cascade nonlinear processes in an optical parametric cavity,and investigate the spectral characteristics of three frequency combs. The center wavelengths of the three combs are designed as 852 nm, 780 nm(atomic transition lines), and 1550 nm(fiber communication wavelength). The positivity under partial transposition(PPT) criterion, which is sufficient and necessary, is used to evaluate the entanglement in each group of comb lines. This scheme is experimentally feasible and valuable for constructing quantum information networks in future.  相似文献

The time evolution of the field quantum entropy and entanglement in a system of multi-mode coherent light field resonantly interacting with a two-level atom by degenerating the multi-photon process is studied by utilizing the Von Neumann reduced entropy theory, and the analytical expressions of the quantum entropy of the multimode field and the numerical calculation results for three-mode field interacting with the atom are obtained. Our attention focuses on the discussion of the influences of the initial average photon number, the atomic distribution angle and the phase angle of the atom dipole on the evolution of the quantum field entropy and entanglement. The results obtained from the numerical calculation indicate that: the stronger the quantum field is, the weaker the entanglement between the quantum field and the atom will be, and when the field is strong enough, the two subsystems may be in a disentangled state all the time; the quantum field entropy is strongly dependent on the atomic distribution angle, namely, the quantum field and the two-level atom are always in the entangled state, and are nearly stable at maximum entanglement after a short time of vibration; the larger the atomic distribution angle is, the shorter the time for the field quantum entropy to evolve its maximum value is; the phase angles of the atom dipole almost have no influences on the entanglement between the quantum field and the two-level atom. Entangled states or pure states based on these properties of the field quantum entropy can be prepared.  相似文献

In order to understand our previous numerical finding that steady-state entanglement along the instability boundary remains unchanged in a three-mode optomechanical system [Phys. Rev. A 101 023838 (2020)], we investigate in detail the boundary entanglement in a simpler two-mode optomechanical system. Studies show that both the mechanism to generate entanglement and the parameter dependence of boundary entanglement are quite similar in these two models. Therefore, the two-mode system has captured the main features in the three-mode system. With the help of analytical calculations and discussing in a much bigger parameter interval, we find that the unchanging behavior previously discovered is actually an extremely slow changing behavior of the boundary entanglement function, and most importantly, this nearly invariant boundary entanglement is a general phenomenon via parametric down conversion process in the weak dissipation regime. This is by itself interesting as threshold quantum signatures in optomechanical phonon lasers, or may have potential value in related applications based on boundary quantum properties.  相似文献

A quantum well in a microcavity driven by an external field is studied. Applying a linearized fluctuation analysis, single mode quadrature squeezing spectra as well as continuous-variable (CV) entanglement between the cavity field and exciton are investigated. It shows that a maximum squeezing can be achieved by choosing appropriate quadrature angles for different nonlinearities. More importantly, CV entanglement can be generated in this scheme.  相似文献

A scheme is proposed to produce two-color continuous-variable (CV) entanglement in nondegenerate optical parametric oscillator with an injected signal (INOPO). The quantum correlations between signal and idler beams are calculated by applying sufficient inseparability criteria for bipartite CV entanglement. The results indicate that two-color CV entangled beams can be produced when the INOPO is operating both below and above the threshold. The injected signal does not markedly diminish the quantum correlations between the signal and idler beams. The degree of entanglement dependence on damping rates is also investigated.  相似文献

Three-colour continuous-variable (CV) entanglement can be directly generated by an injection-seeded nondegenerate optical parametric oscillator (INOPO). The quantum correlations among the pump, signal, and idler beams are calculated and discussed by applying sufficient inseparability criteria for CV entanglement. The results clearly show that strong three-colour CV entanglement can be produced by operating the pump above the oscillation threshold. The INOPO is easier to realize experimentally and more steady in comparison to that without an injected signal since the injected signal can increase the nonlinear conversion efficiency and the stability, as well as allow a large degree of tunability. This scheme can be very useful for the applications in quantum communication and computation networks.  相似文献

We quantify correlations (quantum and/or classical) between two continuous-variable modes as the maximal number of correlated bits extracted via local quadrature measurements. On Gaussian states, such "bit quadrature correlations" majorize entanglement, reducing to an entanglement monotone for pure states. For non-Gaussian states, such as photonic Bell states, photon-subtracted states, and mixtures of Gaussian states, the bit correlations are shown to be a monotonic function of the negativity. This quantification yields a feasible, operational way to measure non-Gaussian entanglement in current experiments by means of direct homodyne detection, without a complete state tomography.  相似文献
