In this work, the exchange bias behavior and magnetocaloric effect have been studied in Mn7Sn4 alloy. The X-ray powder diffraction pattern recorded at room temperature indicates that the sample crystallizes in a single phase with Ni2In-type hexagonal structure (space group P63/mmc). The maximum magnetic entropy change value across paramagnetic/ferrimagnetic transition is about 3.3 J kg−1 K−1 under the magnetic field change of μ0ΔH=0-5T. With further cooling, the reentrant spin-glass-like state is obtained below 150 K, for which the exchange bias effect has been observed. The exchange bias field is ∼7.8 mT and ∼6.7 mT at T=10K when the cooling field is μ0HCF=0.1T and 0.5 T, respectively. The magnetic behavior and the origin of exchange bias in Mn7Sn4 are discussed.  相似文献

The equilibrated grain boundary groove shape of solid Al in equilibrium with Al-Sn-Mg eutectic liquid was observed by using a Bridgman type directional solidification apparatus. The ratio of the thermal conductivity of the equilibrated liquid to the thermal conductivity of solid Al has been obtained as 0.91. In addition, the average Gibbs-Thomson coefficient, Γ=(4.20±0.35)×108Km, the solid-liquid interfacial energy, σSL=180.68±23.48mJ/m2 and the grain boundary energy, σGB=309.30±29.47mJ/m2, in the Al/Al-Sn-Mg system have been calculated from the measured grain boundary shapes.  相似文献

A single-polarization filter comprising a gold-coated photonic crystal fiber based on surface plasmon resonance is designed and investigated. The pattern matching and coupled polarization characteristics analyzed by the full-vector finite element method (FEM) and losses at 1,540 nm are achieved to 1,016.01739 dB/cm (x-pol core mode) and 33.81917 dB/cm (y-pol core mode). The crosstalk (CT) value of the 1,540 nm band is ?853.12653 dB for fiber length L=1,000μm and the bandwidth is 850 nm. The working wavelength of the filter ranges from 1,280 nm to 1,540 nm by varying the diameter of outer air holes (d1), the diameter of inner air holes (d4), the metal film thickness (t), as well as the liquid refractive index (n).  相似文献

We proposed an electro-optic modulator with two-bus one-ring (TBOR) structure to improve the extinction ratio and reduce insert loss. It has a dual output compared with one-bus one-ring structure. In addition, double-layer graphene makes it possible for the modulation in the visible to mid-infrared wavelength range. It shows that this new electro-optic modulator can present two switching states well with low insertion loss, high absorption and high extinction ratio. At λ=1550 nm, when the switching states are based on the chemical potential, μc=0.38 eV and μc=0.4 eV, the insertion losses of both output ports are less than 2 dB, the absorption of the output port coupled via a micro-ring reaches 45 dB and the extinction ratio reaches 14 dB. When the refractive index of the dielectric material is 4.2, the applied voltage will be less than 1.2 V, thus can be used in low-voltage CMOS technology.  相似文献

This study presents the fundamental equations governing the pressure dependent disipation mechanisms in the oscillations of coated bubbles. A simple generalized model (GM) for coated bubbles accounting for the effect of compressibility of the liquid is presented. The GM was then coupled with nonlinear ODEs that account for the thermal effects. Starting with mass and momentum conservation equations for a bubbly liquid and using the GM, nonlinear pressure dependent terms were derived for power dissipation due to thermal damping (Td), radiation damping (Rd) and dissipation due to the viscosity of liquid (Ld) and coating (Cd). The pressure dependence of the dissipation mechanisms of the coated bubble have been analyzed. The dissipated energies were solved for uncoated and coated 2–20 μm in bubbles over a frequency range of 0.25fr-2.5fr (fr is the bubble resonance) and for various acoustic pressures (1 kPa-300 kPa). Thermal effects were examined for air and C3F8 gas cores. In the case of air bubbles, as pressure increases, the linear thermal model looses accuracy and accurate modeling requires inclusion of the full thermal model. However, for coated C3F8 bubbles of diameter 1–8 μm, which are typically used in medical ultrasound, thermal effects maybe neglected even at higher pressures. For uncoated bubbles, when pressure increases, the contributions of Rd grow faster and become the dominant damping mechanism for pressure dependent resonance frequencies (e.g. fundamental and super harmonic resonances). For coated bubbles, Cd is the strongest damping mechanism. As pressure increases, Rd contributes more to damping compared to Ld and Td. For coated bubbles, the often neglected compressibility of the liquid has a strong effect on the oscillations and should be incorporated in models. We show that the scattering to damping ratio (STDR), a measure of the effectiveness of the bubble as contrast agent, is pressure dependent and can be maximized for specific frequency ranges and pressures.  相似文献

Conjugated diolefins are not only crucial intermediates in larger hydrocarbon pyrolysis and oxidation, but also key species in the formation and growth of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). In this work, we employed a sensitive UV laser diagnostic to measure absorption cross-sections and decomposition rates of three conjugated diolefins, namely 1,3-butadiene, 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene (isoprene), and 2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene. The single-pass UV absorption diagnostic achieved a ppm-level detection limit between the wavelengths of 212.5 and 220.5 nm. The use of dilute conditions (119 – 500 ppm fuel in argon) enabled nearly isothermal measurements despite reaction enthalpy. Temperature-dependent absorption cross-sections were measured from room temperature to 1850 K and pressures ranging 0.75 – 1.50 bar in a shock tube. Decomposition of the molecules was observed at temperatures above ∼ 1350 K, and all three molecules exhibited similar activation energy. Around 1800 K, 2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene decomposed twice as fast as isoprene and 4 times faster than 1,3-butadiene. Our measured overall decomposition rate coefficients are given as (unit of s  1, ± 20% uncertainty):k1(1,3butadiene)=9.65×109e(24,338KT)(14111823K)k2(isoprene)=1.86×1010e(24,341KT)(14641829K)k3(2,3dimethyl1,3butadiene)=8.64×1010e(25,845KT)(14011822K)1,3-Butadiene decomposition rate coefficients agree well with previous measurement at similar pressures. To our knowledge, this work reports first measurements of the decomposition rate coefficients of isoprene and 2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene. As an additional application of the current UV diagnostic, we measured 1,3-butadiene decay time-histories during fuel-lean oxidation and compared our data with the predictions of AramcoMech 3.0. We updated the model with our measured 1,3-butadiene decomposition rate coefficients, which significantly improved the model prediction of fuel oxidation.  相似文献

We consider quantum bosons with contact interactions at the Lowest Landau Level (LLL) of a two-dimensional isotropic harmonic trap. At linear order in the coupling parameter g, we construct a large, explicit family of quantum states with energies of the form E0+gE1/4+O(g2), where E0 and E1 are integers. Any superposition of these states evolves periodically with a period of 8π/g until, at much longer time scales of order 1/g2, corrections to the energies of order g2 may become relevant. These quantum states provide a counterpart to the known time-periodic behaviors of the corresponding classical (mean field) theory.  相似文献

First principle calculations have been employed to investigate the effects of Y concentration, pressure and temperature on various properties of Gd1?xYxAuPb (x=0,0.25,0.5,0.75,1) alloys using density functional theory (DFT). The full potential linearized augmented plane wave (FP-LAPW) method within a framework of the generalized gradient approximation (GGA) is used to perform the calculated results of this paper. Phase stability of Gd1?xYxAuPb alloys is studied using the total energy versus unit cell volume calculations. The equilibrium lattice parameters of these alloys are in good agreement with the available experimental results. The mechanical stability of Gd1?xYxAuPb alloys is proved using elastic constants calculations. Also, the influence of Y concentration on elastic properties of Gd1?xYxAuPb alloys such as Young's modulus, shear modulus, Poisson's ratio and anisotropy factor are investigated and analyzed. By considering both Pugh's ratio and Poisson's ratio, the ductility and brittleness of these alloys are studied. In addition, the total density of states and orbital's hybridizations of different atoms are investigated and discussed. Moreover, the effect of pressure and temperature on some important thermodynamic properties is investigated.  相似文献

Hydrothermal growth of Cr doped ZnO nanorods (NRs) thin films was grown on glass substrates. The strong ferromagnetic (FM) and antiferromagnetic (AFM) ordering was observed in 3% and 7% of Cr doped samples. The optical excitation of the Cr doped ZnO NRs is responsible for injection of the spin-polarized carriers in the 3% Cr doped ZnO NRs through longitudinal magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE). We determined a negative anisotropic magnetoresistance (23%) originated from spin orbit coupling due to sp-d exchange interaction. we calculated the process of photon induced inverse spin Hall angle (θISHE3.94×10?2) close to the MOKE saturated rotation angle (θk0.046) for 3% Cr: ZnO. These results can open a new path of optical spin detectors for next-generation spintronic device technology.  相似文献
