In this paper we consider the problem of finding upper bounds of certain matrix operators such as Hausdorff, Nörlund matrix, weighted mean and summability on sequence spaces l p(w) and Lorentz sequence spaces d(w, p), which was recently considered in [9] and [10] and similarly to [14] by Josip Pecaric, Ivan Peric and Rajko Roki. J. Lindenstrauss proves in [L] thatc 0(Γ) is not quasicomplemented inl (Γ) while H. P. Rosenthal in [R] proves that subspaces, whose dual balls are weak* sequentially compact and weak* separable, are quasicomplemented inl (Γ). In this note it is proved that weak* separability of the dual is the precise condition determining whether a subspace, without isomorphic copies ofl 1 and whose dual balls are weak* sequentially compact, is quasicomplemented or not inl (Γ). Especially spaces isomorphic tol p(Γ), for 1<p<∞, have no quasicomplements inl (Γ) if Γ is uncountable.  相似文献

We define and investigate the Riesz transform associated with the differential operatorL λ f(θ)=−f"(θ)−2λ cot’θ. We prove that it can be defined as a principal value and that it is bounded onL P ([0, π],dm λ (θ)),dm λ(θ)=sin θdθ, for every 1<p<∞ and of weak type (1,1). The same boundedness properties hold for the maximal operator of the truncated operators. The speed of convergence of the truncated operators is measured in terms of the boundedness inL P (dm λ ), 1<p<∞, and weak type (1,1) of the oscillation and ρ-variation associated to them. Also, a multiplier theorem is proved to get the boundedness of the conjugate function studied by Muckenhoupt and Stein for 1<p<∞ as a corollary of the results for the Riesz transform. Moreover, we find a condition on the weightv which is necessary and sufficient for the existence of a weightu such that the Riesz transform is bounded fromL P (v dm λ ) intoL P (u dm λ ). Recently, the space bvp of real or complex numbers consisting of all sequences whose differences are in the space lp has been studied by Basar, Altay [Ukrainian Math. J. 55(1)(2003), 136-147], where 1 ≤ p ≤ ∞. The main purpose of the present paper is to introduce the space bvp(F) of sequences of p-bounded variation of fuzzy numbers. Moreover, it is proved that the space bvp(F) includes the space lp(F) and also shown that the spaces bvp(F) and lp(F) axe isomorphic for 1 ≤ p ≤∞. Let g be a negatively curved Riemannian metric of a closed C manifold M of dimension at least three. Let L λ be a C one-parameter convex superlinear Lagrangian on TM such that L0(v) = \frac12 g(v, v){L_0(v)= \frac{1}{2} g(v, v)} for any vTM. We denote by jl{\varphi^\lambda} the restriction of the Euler-Lagrange flow of L λ on the \frac12{\frac{1}{2}} -energy level. If λ is small enough then the flow jl{\varphi^\lambda} is Anosov. In this paper we study the geometric consequences of different assumptions about the regularity of the Anosov distributions of jl{\varphi^\lambda} . For example, in the case that the initial Riemannian metric g is real hyperbolic, we prove that for λ small, jl{\varphi^\lambda} has C 3 weak stable and weak unstable distributions if and only if jl{\varphi^\lambda} is C orbit equivalent to the geodesic flow of g.  相似文献
