本文研究了非线性互补约束均衡问题.利用互补函数以及光滑近似法,把非线性互补约束均衡问题转化为一个光滑非线性规划问题,得到了超线性收敛速度,数值实验结果表明本文提出的算法是可行的.  相似文献

It is well known that mathematical programs with equilibrium constraints (MPEC) violate the standard constraint qualifications such as Mangasarian–Fromovitz constraint qualification (MFCQ) and hence the usual Karush–Kuhn–Tucker conditions cannot be used as stationary conditions unless relatively strong assumptions are satisfied. This observation has led to a number of weaker stationary conditions, with Mordukhovich stationary (M-stationary) condition being the strongest among the weaker conditions. In nonlinear programming, it is known that MFCQ leads to an exact penalization. In this paper we show that MPEC GMFCQ, an MPEC variant of MFCQ, leads to a partial exact penalty where all the constraints except a simple linear complementarity constraint are moved to the objective function. The partial exact penalty function, however, is nonsmooth. By smoothing the partial exact penalty function, we design an algorithm which is shown to be globally convergent to an M-stationary point under an extended version of the MPEC GMFCQ.  相似文献

We propose a merit-function piecewise SQP algorithm for mathematical programs with equilibrium constraints (MPEC) formulated as mathematical programs with complementarity constraints. Under mild conditions, the new algorithm is globally convergent to a piecewise stationary point. Moreover, if the partial MPEC linear independence constraint qualification (LICQ) is satisfied at the accumulation point, then the accumulation point is an S-stationary point. The active-set Newton method developed earlier by the authors for mixed complementarity problems is applied to solving the quadratic programming problem with a positive definite matrix of the objective function. A theoretical justification is given to the fact that the method is guaranteed to find the exact solution in a finite number of steps. Numerical results indicate that this approach is competitive with other available methods for quadratic programming problems.  相似文献

The relationship between the mathematical program with linear complementarity constraints (MPLCC) and its inequality relaxation is studied. Based on this relationship, a new sequential quadratic programming (SQP) method is presented for solving the MPLCC. A certain SQP technique is introduced to deal with the possible infeasibility of quadratic programming subproblems. Global convergence results are derived without assuming the linear independence constraint qualification for MPEC, the nondegeneracy condition, and any feasibility condition of the quadratic programming subproblems. A new formulation as well as a new solution technique is proposed for an equilibrium path-following method in two-dimensional quasistatic frictional contact problems. We consider the Coulomb friction law as well as a geometrical nonlinearity explicitly. Based on a criterion of maximum dissipation of energy, we propose a formulation as a mathematical program with complementarity constraints (MPEC) in order to avoid unloading solutions in which most contact candidate nodes become stuck. A regularization scheme for the MPEC is proposed, which can be solved by using a conventional nonlinear programming approach. The equilibrium paths of various structures are computed in cases such that there exist some limit points and/or infinite number of successive bifurcation points.  相似文献

Generalized stationary points of the mathematical program with equilibrium constraints (MPEC) are studied to better describe the limit points produced by interior point methods for MPEC. A primal-dual interior-point method is then proposed, which solves a sequence of relaxed barrier problems derived from MPEC. Global convergence results are deduced under fairly general conditions other than strict complementarity or the linear independence constraint qualification for MPEC (MPEC-LICQ). It is shown that every limit point of the generated sequence is a strong stationary point of MPEC if the penalty parameter of the merit function is bounded. Otherwise, a point with certain stationarity can be obtained. <正>Mathematical programs with complementarity constraints(MPCC) is an important subclass of MPEC.It is a natural way to solve MPCC by constructing a suitable approximation of the primal problem.In this paper,we propose a new smoothing method for MPCC by using the aggregation technique.A new SQP algorithm for solving the MPCC problem is presented.At each iteration,the master direction is computed by solving a quadratic program,and the revised direction for avoiding the Maratos effect is generated by an explicit formula.As the non-degeneracy condition holds and the smoothing parameter tends to zero,the proposed SQP algorithm converges globally to an S-stationary point of the MPEC problem,its convergence rate is superlinear.Some preliminary numerical results are reported.  相似文献

A queueing system resulting from a signalised intersection regulated by pre-timed control in an urban traffic network is considered in this paper. Subsequently, we analyse the manner in which Global Optimisation and Complementarity may be used to determine the optimal cycle length and green split allocation for an isolated signalised intersection. The model in question has been formulated as a Mathematical Program with Equilibrium (or Complementarity) Constraints (MPEC). A?sequential complementarity algorithm for computing a global minimum for the MPEC is also subject to analysis in this paper. Furthermore, computational experience is included to demonstrate the efficiency of this method as an effective solution for the problem in question.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a mathematical program with equilibrium constraints (MPEC) formulated as a mathematical program with complementarity constraints. Various stationary conditions for MPECs exist in literature due to different reformulations. We give a simple proof to the M-stationary condition and show that it is sufficient for global or local optimality under some MPEC generalized convexity assumptions. Moreover, we propose new constraint qualifications for M-stationary conditions to hold. These new constraint qualifications include piecewise MFCQ, piecewise Slater condition, MPEC weak reverse convex constraint qualification, MPEC Arrow-Hurwicz-Uzawa constraint qualification, MPEC Zangwill constraint qualification, MPEC Kuhn-Tucker constraint qualification, and MPEC Abadie constraint qualification.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop a rapidly convergent algorithm for mixed constrained signomial geometric programming. The algorithm makes use of the characteristics of signomial geometric programming, and establishes a new active-set strategy on the basis of trust region method. In this paper, we consider a mathematical program with equilibrium constraints (MPEC) formulated as a mathematical program with complementarity constraints. We obtain necessary conditions of Fritz John (FJ) and Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) types for a nonsmooth (MPEC) problem in terms of the lower Hadamard directional derivative. In particular sufficient conditions for MPECs are given where the involved functions have pseudoconvex sublevel sets. The functions with pseudoconvex sublevel sets is a class of generalized convex functions that include quasiconvex functions.  相似文献

A new, infeasible QP-free algorithm for nonlinear constrained optimization problems is proposed. The algorithm is based on a continuously differentiable exact penalty function and on active-set strategy. After a finite number of iterations, the algorithm requires only the solution of two linear systems at each iteration. We prove that the algorithm is globally convergent toward the KKT points and that, if the second-order sufficiency condition and the strict complementarity condition hold, then the rate of convergence is superlinear or even quadratic. Moreover, we incorporate two automatic adjustment rules for the choice of the penalty parameter and make use of an approximated direction as derivative of the merit function so that only first-order derivatives of the objective and constraint functions are used.  相似文献
