A necessary and sufficient condition of regularity of (0,1,…, m - 2, m) interpo-lation on the zeros of the Laguerre polynomials Ln(α) (x) (α≥ -1) in a manageable form is established. Meanwhile, the explicit representation of the fundamental polynomials, when they exist, is given. Moreover, it is shown that, if the problem of (0,1,…, m - 2, TO) interpolation has an infinity of solutions, then the general form of the solutions is f0(x) Cf1(x) with an arbitrary constant C.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the evolution of hypersurface moving by the mean curvature minus an external force field. It is shown that the flow will blow up in a finite time if the mean curvature of the initial surface is larger than some constant depending on the boundness of derivatives of the external force field. For a linear force, we prove that the convexity of the hypersurface is preserved during the evolution and the flow has a unique smooth solution in any finite time and expands to infinity as the time tends to infinity if the initial curvature is smaller than the slope of the force.  相似文献

P. Turan and his associates considered in detail the problem of (0.2) interpolation based on the zeros of πn(x). Motivated by these results and an earlier result of Szabados and Varma[9] here we consider the problem of existence, uniqueness and explicit representation of the interpolatory polynomial Rn (x) satisfying the function values at one set of nodes and the second derivative on the other set of nodes. It is important to note that this problem has a unique solution provided these two sets of nodes are chosen properly. We also promise to have an interesting convergence theorem in the second paper of this series, which will provide a solution to the related open problem of P. Turan.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct the propositional calculus system of mediumlogic MP under the view of medium principe. We first make out thevocabulary of MP and the rules of its formation and inference, and then, after a primary development, we reduce it to ten formal theorems (the formal relations of inference). More precisely, the theorems can be divided into 38 relations of inference, in which only 5 have alrealy been contained in the classiccal natural inference system P, this is to say, all the others are peculiar to tthe non-classical logic system MP.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the existence of nontrivial solutions for the following Dirichlet problem for the p-Laplacian (p > 1):where Ω is a bounded domain in Rn (A≥1) and f(x,u) is quasi-asymptotically linear with respect to |u|p-2 u at infinity. Recently it was proved that the above problem has a positive solution under the condition that f(x, s)/sp-1 is nondecrcasing with respect to s for all x ∈Ω and some others. In this paper. by improving the methods in the literature, we prove that the functional corresponding to the above problem still satisfies a weakened version of (P.S.) condition even if f(x, s)/sp-1 isn't a nondecreasing function with respect to s, and then the above problem has a nontrivial weak solution by Mountain Pass Theorem.  相似文献

The authors mainly study the generalized symplectic mean curvature flow in an almost Einstein surface, and prove that this flow has no type-I singularity. In the graph case, the global existence and convergence of the flow at infinity to a minimal surface with metric of the ambient space conformal to the original one are also proved.  相似文献

The alternating direction method of multipliers(ADMM)is a benchmark for solving convex programming problems with separable objective functions and linear constraints.In the literature it has been illustrated as an application of the proximal point algorithm(PPA)to the dual problem of the model under consideration.This paper shows that ADMM can also be regarded as an application of PPA to the primal model with a customized choice of the proximal parameter.This primal illustration of ADMM is thus complemental to its dual illustration in the literature.This PPA revisit on ADMM from the primal perspective also enables us to recover the generalized ADMM proposed by Eckstein and Bertsekas easily.A worst-case O(1/t)convergence rate in ergodic sense is established for a slight extension of Eckstein and Bertsekas’s generalized ADMM.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with the existence of unbounded orbits of the mapping {θ1 = θ 2nπ 1/ρμ(θ) o(ρ-1),ρ1=ρ c-μ′(θ) o(1), ρ→∞,where n is a positive integer, c is a constant and μ(θ) is a 2π-periodic function. We prove that if c > 0 and μ(θ) ≠ 0, θ∈ [0, 2π], then every orbit of the given mapping goes to infinity in the future for ρ large enough; if c < 0 and μ(θ) ≠ 0, θ∈ [0, 2π], then every orbit of the given mapping goes to infinity in the past for ρ large enough. By using this result, we prove that the equation x″ f(x)x′ ax -bx- φ(x) =p(t) has unbounded solutions provided that a, b satisfy 1/√a 1/√b = 2/n and F(x)(= ∫x0 f(s)ds),and φ(x) satisfies some limit conditions. Let f be a meromorphic function of finite order in the plane. If its Nevanlinnadeficiency sum is 2,then we say that f has maximum deficiency sum. Drasin con-jectured that if f has maximum deficiency sum and the infinity is not its Nevanlinna'sdeficient value, then zero is the only Nevaulinna's deficient value of f' with defi-ciency 1. The Bingham fluid model has been successfully used in modeling a large class of non-Newtonian fluids. In this paper, the authors extend to the case of Bingham fluids the results previously obtained by Chipot and Mardare, who studied the asymptotics of the Stokes flow in a cylindrical domain that becomes unbounded in one direction, and prove the convergence of the solution to the Bingham problem in a finite periodic domain, to the solution of the Bingham problem in the infinite periodic domain, as the length of the finite domain goes to infinity. As a consequence of this convergence, the existence of a solution to a Bingham problem in the infinite periodic domain is obtained, and the uniqueness of the velocity field for this problem is also shown. Finally, they show that the error in approximating the velocity field in the infinite domain with the velocity in a periodic domain of length 2? has a polynomial decay in ?, unlike in the Stokes case(see [Chipot,M. and Mardare, S., Asymptotic behaviour of the Stokes problem in cylinders becoming unbounded in one direction, Journal de Math′ematiques Pures et Appliqu′ees, 90(2), 2008,133–159]) where it has an exponential decay. This is in itself an important result for the numerical simulations of non-Newtonian flows in long tubes.  相似文献

Medium logic (ML) is set up for the common theoritical foundation of the classical mathematics and fuzzy mathematics. It has been formalized as a new theory of logic. See note (1) and note (2). As mathematical logic the ML's construct reches the study of the informal deductive inference by means of studying the formal inference in it, and it demands the formal inference of ML reliable reflected the deductive inference. For this reason, this paper deals with its reliability. The result shows that the formal inference of M L consists with deductive inference, and that ML reliably reflects the deductive inference.  相似文献

The center conditions and bifurcation of limit cycles for a class of fifth degree systems are investigated. Two recursive formulas to compute singular quantities at infinity and at the origin are given. The first nine singular point quantities at infinity and first seven singular point quantities at the origin for the system are given in order to get center conditions and study bifurcation of limit cycles. Two fifth degree systems are constructed. One allows the appearance of eight limit cycles in the neighborhood of infinity,which is the first example that a polynomial differential system bifurcates eight limit cycles at infinity. In this article we show that the order of the point value, in the sense of Lojasiewicz, of a tempered distribution and the order of summability of the pointwise Fourier inversion formula are closely related. Assuming that the order of the point values and certain order of growth at infinity are given for a tempered distribution, we estimate the order of summability of the Fourier inversion formula. For Fourier series, and in other cases, it is shown that if the distribution has a distributional point value of order k, then its Fourier series is e.v. Cesaro summable to the distributional point value of order k+1. Conversely, we also show that if the pointwise Fourier inversion formula is e.v. Cesaro summable of order k, then the distribution is the (k + 1)-th derivative of a locally integrable function, and the distribution has a distributional point value of order k + 2. We also establish connections between orders of summability and local behavior for other Fourier inversion problems.  相似文献
