Let R be a ring with involution. In this paper, we introduce a new type of generalized inverse called pseudo core inverse in R. The notion of core inverse was introduced by Baksalary and Trenkler for matrices of index 1 in 2010 and then it was generalized to an arbitrary ?-ring case by Raki?, Din?i? and Djordjevi? in 2014. Our definition of pseudo core inverse extends the notion of core inverse to elements of an arbitrary index in R. Meanwhile, it generalizes the notion of core-EP inverse, introduced by Manjunatha Prasad and Mohana for matrices in 2014, to the case of ?-ring. Some equivalent characterizations for elements in R to be pseudo core invertible are given and expressions are presented especially in terms of Drazin inverse and {1,3}-inverse. Then, we investigate the relationship between pseudo core inverse and other generalized inverses. Further, we establish several properties of the pseudo core inverse. Finally, the computations for pseudo core inverses of matrices are exhibited.  相似文献

In this paper, we revise the core EP inverse of a square matrix introduced by Prasad and Mohana in [12], Core EP inverse, Linear and Multilinear Algebra 62(3) (2014), 792–802. Firstly, we give a new representation and a new characterization of the core EP inverse. Then, we study some properties of the core EP inverse by using a representation by block matrices. Secondly, we extend the notion of core EP inverse to rectangular matrices by means of a weighted core EP decomposition. Finally, we study some properties of weighted core EP inverses.  相似文献

We introduce and study the weighted core–EP inverse of an operator between two Hilbert spaces as a generalization of the weighted core–EP inverse for a rectangular matrix. Several new properties of weighted core–EP inverses are given and some known results are extended. Using a weighted operator, the core–EP pre-order and the minus partial order of corresponding operators, we define new pre-orders on the set of all Wg–Drazin invertible operators between two Hilbert spaces. As consequences of our results, we present a new characterization and new representations of the core–EP inverse, new characterizations of the core–EP pre-order and extend the core–EP pre-order to a partial order.  相似文献

In a ring with involution, we prove that a Drazin invertible element is pseudo core invertible if and only if its spectral idempotent is {1, 4}-invertible. As its applications, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for 1???ba (resp., ba) being pseudo core invertible while 1???ab (resp., ab) has pseudo core inverse, and the pseudo core inverse of 1???ba (resp., ba) is given in terms of 1???ab (resp., ab). Inspired by the above idea, Jacobson’s lemma for Moore-Penrose inverse is considered.  相似文献

Poincaré characteristic for reflexive relations (oriented graphs) is defined in terms of homology and is not invariant under transitive closure. Formulas for the Poincaré characteristic of products, joins, and bounded products are given. Euler's definition of characteristic extends to certain filtrations of reflexive relations which exist iff there are no oriented loops. Euler characteristic is independent of filtration, agrees with Poincaré characteristic, and is unique. One-sided Möbius characteristic is defined as the sum of all values of a one-sided inverse of the zeta function. Such one-sided inverses exist iff there are no local oriented loops (although there may be global oriented loops). One-sided Möbius characteristic need not be Poincaré characteristic, but it is when a one-sided local transitivity condition is satisfied. A two-sided local transitivity condition insures the existence of the Möbius function but Möbius inversion fails for non-posets.  相似文献

In this paper, we present some necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the (bc)-inverse and several representations for the (bc)-inverse related to the group inverse. Since Mary inverse, core inverse, dual core inverse and Bott–Duffin (ef)-inverse are all the special cases of the (bc)-inverse, related results for these inverses are obtained.  相似文献

The notion of the Moore–Penrose inverse of tensors with the Einstein product was introduced, very recently. In this paper, we further elaborate on this theory by producing a few characterizations of different generalized inverses of tensors. A new method to compute the Moore–Penrose inverse of tensors is proposed. Reverse order laws for several generalized inverses of tensors are also presented. In addition to these, we discuss general solutions of multilinear systems of tensors using such theory.  相似文献

 A multiplication on an H-space X has a left inverse λ and a right inverse ρ. They are mutual inverses and λ = ρ if and only if . In this paper we investigate the order of λ. We give an example of a multiplication with , and prove that for any finite H-complex X there are finitely many left inverses of finite order. Conditions are given for there to be infinitely many multiplications on X with the same left inverse. We then give conditions for a left inverse to have infinite order. A new type of generalized inverse is defined which is a weakened form of the Drazin inverse. These new inverses are called (d)-inverses. Basic properties of (d)-inverses are developed. It is shown that (d)-inverses are often easier to compute than Drazin inverses and can frequently be used in place of the Drazin inverse when studying systems of differential equations with singular coefficients or when studying Marcov chains.  相似文献

We present a unified representation theorem for the class of all outer generalized inverses of a bounded linear operator. Using this representation we develop a few specific expressions and computational procedures for the set of outer generalized inverses. The obtained result is a generalization of the well-known representation theorem of the Moore--Penrose inverse as well as a generalization of the well-known results for the Drazin inverse and the generalized inverse AT,S (2). In this note a theorem of B. Gramsch [6] on one-sided meromorphic inverses of Semi-Fredholmoperator valued holomorphic functions is generalized to holomorphic functions on a Stein space with values in the set of Semi-Fredholm-operators between two Banach spaces. By the way, a theorem of G.R. Allan [1] on holomorphic one-sided inverses is generalized to holomorphic functions on a Stein space with values in certain paraalgebras (c.f. [5]). As an application of that a duality theorem for holomorphic bases of finite dimensional subspaces of (F)- and (DF)-spaces is proved (c.f. [3]).  相似文献

Based on the different kinds of auxiliary operators and corresponding operator relations, we will present conditions which characterize the invertibility of matrix Wiener–Hopf plus Hankel operators having different Fourier symbols in the class of almost periodic elements. To reach such invertibility characterization, we introduce a new kind of factorization for AP matrix functions. Additionally, under certain conditions, we will obtain the one-sided and two-sided inverses of the matrix Wiener–Hopf plus Hankel operators in study.  相似文献
