In this paper, using the standard truncated Painlevé analysis, the Schwartzian equation of (2+1)-dimensional generalized variable coefficient shallow water wave (SWW) equation is obtained. With the help of Lax pairs, nonlocal symmetries of the SWW equation are constructed which be localized by a complicated calculation process. Furthermore, using the Lie point symmetries of the closed system and Schwartzian equation, some exact interaction solutions are obtained, such as soliton–cnoidal wave solutions. Corresponding 2D and 3D figures are placed to illustrate dynamic behavior of the generalized variable coefficient SWW equation.  相似文献

In this paper, nonlocal symmetries of variable coefficient Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur(AKNS) system are studied for the first time. In order to construct some new analytic solutions, a new variable is introduced, which can transform nonlocal symmetries into Lie point symmetries. Furthermore, using the Lie point symmetries of closed system, we give out two types of symmetry reductions and some analytic solutions. For some interesting solutions, such as interaction solutions among solitons and other complicated waves, we give corresponding images to describe their dynamic behavior.  相似文献

We show that the Benjamin–Bona–Mahoney (BBM) equation with power law nonlinearity can be transformed by a point transformation to the combined KdV–mKdV equation, that is also known as the Gardner equation. We then study the combined KdV–mKdV equation from the Lie group-theoretic point of view. The Lie point symmetry generators of the combined KdV–mKdV equation are derived. We obtain symmetry reduction and a number of exact group-invariant solutions for the underlying equation using the Lie point symmetries of the equation. The conserved densities are also calculated for the BBM equation with dual nonlinearity by using the multiplier approach. Finally, the conserved quantities are computed using the one-soliton solution.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the nth Bäcklund transformation (BT) related to multiple residual symmetries and soliton-cnoidal wave interaction solution for the combined modified KdV–negative-order modified KdV (mKdV-nmKdV) equation. The residual symmetry derived from the truncated Painlevé expansion can be extended to the multiple residual symmetries, which can be localized to Lie point symmetries by prolonging the combined mKdV-nmKdV equation to a larger system. The corresponding finite symmetry transformation, ie, nth BT, is presented in determinant form. As a result, new multiple singular soliton solutions can be obtained from known ones. We prove that the combined mKdV-nmKdV equation is integrable, possessing the second-order Lax pair and consistent Riccati expansion (CRE) property. Furthermore, we derive the exact soliton and soliton-cnoidal wave interaction solutions by applying the nonauto-BT obtained from the CRE method.  相似文献

We study the generalized fifth order KdV equation using group methods and conservation laws. All of the geometric vector fields of the special fifth order KdV equation are presented. By using the nonclassical Lie group method, it is show that this equation does not admit nonclassical type symmetries. Then, on the basis of the optimal system, the symmetry reductions and exact solutions to this equation are constructed. For some special cases, we obtain additional nontrivial conservation laws and scaling symmetries.  相似文献

Using the Lax pair, nonlocal symmetries of the coupled Hirota equations are obtained. By introducing an appropriate auxiliary dependent variable, the nonlocal symmetries are successfully localized to Lie point symmetries. With the help of Lie symmetries of the closed prolongation, exact solutions and nonlocal conservation laws of the coupled Hirota equations are studied.  相似文献

Exact solutions of KdV equation with time-dependent coefficients   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper, we study the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation having time dependent coefficients from the Lie symmetry point of view. We obtain Lie point symmetries admitted by the equation for various forms for the time-dependent coefficients. We use the symmetries to construct the group-invariant solutions for each of the cases of the arbitrary coefficients. Subsequently, the 1-soliton solution is obtained by the aid of solitary wave ansatz method. It is observed that the soliton solution will exist provided that these time-dependent coefficients are all Riemann integrable.  相似文献

We study the generalized KdV equation having time dependent variable coefficients of the damping and dispersion from the Lie group-theoretic point of view. Lie group classification with respect to the time dependent coefficients is performed. The optimal system of one-dimensional subalgebras of the Lie symmetry algebras are obtained. These subalgebras are then used to construct a number of similarity reductions and exact group-invariant solutions, including soliton solutions, for some special forms of the equations.  相似文献

For first order scalar ordinary differential equations, a well–known result of Sophus Lie states that a Lie point symmetry can be used to construct an integrating factor and conversely. However, there exist higher order equations without Lie point symmetries that admit integrating factors or that are exact. We present a method based on λ-symmetries to calculate integrating factors. An example of a second order equation without Lie point symmetries illustrates how the method works in practice and how the computations that appear in other methods may be simplified. This paper studies the modified Korteweg–de Vries equation with time variable coefficients of the damping and dispersion using Lie symmetry methods. We carry out Lie group classification with respect to the time-dependent coefficients. Lie point symmetries admitted by the mKdV equation for various forms for the time variable coefficients are obtained. The optimal system of one-dimensional subalgebras of the Lie symmetry algebras are determined. These are then used to determine exact group-invariant solutions, including soliton solutions, and symmetry reductions for some special forms of the equations.  相似文献

The exhaustive group classification of a class of variable coefficient generalized KdV equations is presented, which completes and enhances results existing in the literature. Lie symmetries are used for solving an initial and boundary value problem for certain subclasses of the above class. Namely, the found Lie symmetries are applied in order to reduce the initial and boundary value problem for the generalized KdV equations (which are PDEs) to an initial value problem for nonlinear third-order ODEs. The latter problem is solved numerically using the finite difference method. Numerical solutions are computed and the vast parameter space is studied.  相似文献

In the present paper Lie symmetry group method is applied to find new exact invariant solutions for Klein–Gordon–Fock equation with central symmetry. The found invariant solutions are important for testing finite-difference computational schemes of various boundary value problems of Klein–Gordon–Fock equation with central symmetry. The classical admitted symmetries of the equation are found. The infinitesimal symmetries of the equation are used to find the Riemann function constructively.  相似文献

By using some exact solutions of an auxiliary ordinary differential equation, a direct algebraic method is described to construct the exact complex solutions for nonlinear partial differential equations. The method is implemented for the NLS equation, a new Hamiltonian amplitude equation, the coupled Schrodinger–KdV equations and the Hirota–Maccari equations. New exact complex solutions are obtained.  相似文献

New formulae of nonlocal nonlinear superposition and generation of solutions are proposed for nonlinear diffusion-convection equations which are linearizable or are invariant with respect to a generalized hodograph transformation or connected by this transformation. We study in what particular ways additional Lie symmetries of diffusion-convection equations induce nonlocal symmetries of equations obtained from the initial ones by nonlocal transformations. The formulae derived are used for the construction of exact solutions.  相似文献

The truncated Painlevé expansion is developed to construct Bäcklund transformations and nonlocal symmetries of the Bogoyavlenskii coupled KdV (BcKdV) system. The Schwarzian form of BcKdV system is found while the nonlocal symmetry is localized to offer the corresponding nonlocal group. Furthermore, the BcKdV system is verified to have a consistent Riccati expansion (CRE). Stemming from the consistent tan-function expansion (CTE), which is a special form of CRE, the soliton–cnoidal wave solutions are explicitly studied.  相似文献

A five-dimensional symmetry algebra consisting of Lie point symmetries is firstly computed for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation, which, together with a reflection invariance, generates two five-parameter solution groups. Three ansätze of transformations are secondly analyzed and used to construct exact solutions to the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. Various examples of exact solutions with constant, trigonometric function type, exponential function type and rational function amplitude are given upon careful analysis. A bifurcation phenomenon in the nonlinear Schrödinger equation is clearly exhibited during the solution process.  相似文献

In this work, Lie group theoretic method is used to carry out the similarity reduction and solitary wave solutions of (2 + 1)-dimensional Date–Jimbo–Kashiwara–Miwa (DJKM) equation. The equation describes the propagation of nonlinear dispersive waves in inhomogeneous media. Under the invariance property of Lie groups, the infinitesimal generators for the governing equation have been obtained. Thereafter, commutator table, adjoint table, invariant functions, and one-dimensional optimal system of subalgebras are derived by using Lie point symmetries. The symmetry reductions and some group invariant solutions of the DJKM equation are obtained based on some subalgebras. The obtained solutions are new and more general than the rest while known results reported in the literature. In order to show the physical affirmation of the results, the obtained solutions are supplemented through numerical simulation. Thus, the solitary wave, doubly soliton, multi soliton, and dark soliton profiles of the solutions are traced to make this research physically meaningful.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the variable coefficient equation ut=b(t)uux+a(t)uxx which among other applications has considerable interest in nonlinear acoustics. We present transformation properties of this generalised equation. In particular, we classify the Lie classical symmetries, the nonclassical symmetries, the potential symmetries, point and potential form preserving transformations. Finally, using these transformations we give examples of exact solutions.  相似文献

We review some of our recent work devoted to the problem of quantization with preservation of Noether symmetries, finding hidden linearity in superintegrable systems, and showing that nonlocal symmetries are in fact local. In particular, we derive the Schrödinger equation for the isochronous Calogero goldfish model using its relation to Darwin equation. We prove the linearity of a classical superintegrable system on a plane of nonconstant curvature. We find the Lie point symmetries that correspond to the nonlocal symmetries (also reinterpreted as λ-symmetries) of the Riccati chain.  相似文献
