We consider nonlinear elliptic second-order variational inequalities with degenerate (with respect to the spatial variable) and anisotropic coefficients and L 1-data. We study the cases where the set of constraints belongs to a certain anisotropic weighted Sobolev space and to a larger function class. In the first case, some new properties of T-solutions and shift T-solutions of the investigated variational inequalities are established. Moreover, the notion of W 1,1-regular T-solution is introduced, and a theorem of existence and uniqueness of such a solution is proved. In the second case, we introduce the notion of T-solution of the variational inequalities under consideration and establish conditions of existence and uniqueness of such a solution.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the boundedness of the Hausdorff operator H_? on the real line R. First, we start with an easy case by establishing the boundedness of the Hausdorff operator on the Lebesgue space L~p(R)and the Hardy space H~1(R). The key idea is to reformulate H_? as a Calder′on-Zygmund convolution operator, from which its boundedness is proved by verifying the Hrmander condition of the convolution kernel. Secondly,to prove the boundedness on the Hardy space H~p(R) with 0 p 1, we rewrite the Hausdorff operator as a singular integral operator with the non-convolution kernel. This novel reformulation, in combination with the Taibleson-Weiss molecular characterization of H~p(R) spaces, enables us to obtain the desired results. Those results significantly extend the known boundedness of the Hausdorff operator on H~1(R).  相似文献

Let L be a uniformly elliptic linear second order differential operator in divergence form with bounded measurable real coefficients in a bounded domain G ? ?n (n ? 2). We define classes of continuous functions in G that contain generalized solutions of the equation L? = 0 and have the property that the compact sets removable for such solutions in these classes can be completely described in terms of Hausdorff measures.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the boundedness of the fractional integral operator I α on Carnot group G in the generalized Morrey spaces M p, φ (G). We shall give a characterization for the strong and weak type boundedness of I α on the generalized Morrey spaces, respectively. As applications of the properties of the fundamental solution of sub-Laplacian L on G, we prove two Sobolev–Stein embedding theorems on generalized Morrey spaces in the Carnot group setting.  相似文献

We prove the converse of the trace theorem for the functions of the Sobolev spaces W p l on a Carnot group on the regular closed subsets called Ahlfors d-sets (the direct trace theorem was obtained in one of our previous publications). The theorem generalizes Johnsson and Wallin’s results for Sobolev functions on the Euclidean space. As a consequence we give a theorem on the boundary values of Sobolev functions on a domain with smooth boundary in a two-step Carnot group. We consider an example of application of the theorems to solvability of the boundary value problem for one partial differential equation.  相似文献

We consider one class of singular integral operators over the functions on domains of Carnot groups. We prove the L p boundedness, 1 < p > ∞, for the operators of this class. Similar operators over the functions on domains of Euclidean space were considered by Mikhlin.  相似文献

We showexistence and uniqueness of L-solutions to stochastic continuity equations with Ladyzhenskaya-Prodi-Serrin condition. The main issue of uniqueness is proved reeling on stochastic characteristic method.  相似文献

We completely characterize the boundedness on Wiener amalgam spaces of the short-time Fourier transform (STFT), and on both L p and Wiener amalgam spaces of a special class of pseudodifferential operators, called localization operators. Precisely, sufficient conditions for the STFT to be bounded on the Wiener amalgam spaces W(L p , L q ) are given and their sharpness is shown. Localization operators are treated similarly: using different techniques from those employed in the literature, we relax the known sufficient boundedness conditions for these operators to be bounded on L p spaces and prove the optimality of our results. Next, we exhibit sufficient and necessary conditions for such operators to be bounded on Wiener amalgam spaces.  相似文献

We study Riesz and Bessel potentials in the settings of Hankel transform, modified Hankel transform and Hankel-Dunkl transform. We prove sharp or qualitatively sharp pointwise estimates of the corresponding potential kernels. Then we characterize those 1 ≤ p, q≤∞, for which the potential operators satisfy L p -L q estimates. In case of the Riesz potentials, we also characterize those 1 ≤ p, q ≤ ∞, for which two-weight L p -L q estimates, with power weights involved, hold. As a special case of our results, we obtain a full characterization of two power-weight L p -L q bounds for the classical Riesz potentials in the radial case. This complements an old result of Rubin and its recent reinvestigations by De Nápoli, Drelichman and Durán, and Duoandikoetxea.  相似文献

Perturbed Hodge-Dirac operators and their holomorphic functional calculi, as investigated in the papers by Axelsson, Keith and the second author, provided insight into the solution of the Kato square-root problem for elliptic operators in L2 spaces and allowed for an extension of these estimates to other systems with applications to non-smooth boundary value problems. In this paper, we determine conditions under which such operators satisfy conical square function estimates in a range of L p spaces, thus allowing us to apply the theory of Hardy spaces associated with an operator to prove that they have a bounded holomorphic functional calculus in those L p spaces. We also obtain functional calculus results for restrictions to certain subspaces, for a larger range of p. This provides a framework for obtaining L p results on perturbed Hodge Laplacians, generalising known Riesz transform bounds for an elliptic operator L with bounded measurable coefficients, one Sobolev exponent below the Hodge exponent, and L p bounds on the square-root of L by the gradient, two Sobolev exponents below the Hodge exponent. Our proof shows that the heart of the harmonic analysis in L2 extends to L p for all p ∈ (1,∞), while the restrictions in p come from the operator-theoretic part of the L2 proof. In the course of our work, we obtain some results of independent interest about singular integral operators on tent spaces and about the relationship between conical and vertical square functions.  相似文献

Let L=?Δ+V be a Schrödinger operator on ? d , d≥3. We assume that V is a nonnegative, compactly supported potential that belongs to L p (? d ), for some p>d /2. Let K t be the semigroup generated by ?L. We say that an L 1(? d )-function f belongs to the Hardy space \(H^{1}_{L}\) associated with L if sup?t>0|K t f| belongs to L 1(? d ). We prove that \(f\in H^{1}_{L}\) if and only if R j fL 1(? d ) for j=1,…,d, where R j =(?/? x j )L ?1/2 are the Riesz transforms associated with L.  相似文献

We give some integral representations of the form f(x) = P(f)+K(?f) on two-step Carnot groups, where P(f) is a polynomial and K is an integral operator with a specific singularity. We then obtain the weak Poincaré inequality and coercive estimates as well as the generalized Poincaré inequality on the general Carnot groups.  相似文献

We establish necessary and sufficient conditions for embeddings of Bessel potential spaces H σ X(IR n ) with order of smoothness σ?∈?(0, n), modelled upon rearrangement invariant Banach function spaces X(IR n ), into generalized Hölder spaces (involving k-modulus of smoothness). We apply our results to the case when X(IR n ) is the Lorentz-Karamata space \(L_{p,q;b}({{\rm I\kern-.17em R}}^n)\). In particular, we are able to characterize optimal embeddings of Bessel potential spaces \(H^{\sigma}L_{p,q;b}({{\rm I\kern-.17em R}}^n)\) into generalized Hölder spaces. Applications cover both superlimiting and limiting cases. We also show that our results yield new and sharp embeddings of Sobolev-Orlicz spaces W k?+?1 L n/k(logL) α (IR n ) and W k L n/k(logL) α (IR n ) into generalized Hölder spaces.  相似文献

Let Γ be a graph endowed with a reversible Markov kernel p, whose associated operator P is defined by \(Pf(x) = {\sum }_{y} p(x, y)f(y)\). We assume that the kernels pn(x, y) associated to Pn satisfy Gaussian upper bounds but do not assume they satisfy the Hölder continuity property and the temporal regularity. Denote by L = I ? P the discrete Laplacian on Γ. This article shows the weighted weak type (1, 1) estimates and the weighted Lp norm inequalities for the spectral multipliers of L. We also obtain the weighted Lp norm inequalities for the commutators of the spectral multipliers of L with BMO functions which are new even for the unweighted case.  相似文献

We introduce a lower semicontinuous analog, L ?(X), of the well-studied space of upper semicontinuous set-valued maps with nonempty compact interval images. Because the elements of L ?(X) contain continuous selections, the space C(X) of real-valued continuous functions on X can be used to establish properties of L ?(X), such as the two interrelated main theorems. The first of these theorems, the Extension Theorem, is proved in this Part I. The Extension Theorem says that for binormal spaces X and Y, every bimonotone homeomorphism between C(X) and C(Y) can be extended to an ordered homeomorphism between L ?(X) and L ?(Y). The second main theorem, the Factorization Theorem, is proved in Part II. The Factorization Theorem says that for binormal spaces X and Y, every ordered homeomorphism between L ?(X) and L ?(Y) can be characterized by a unique factorization.  相似文献

We consider even factors with a bounded number of components in the n-times iterated line graphs L n (G). We present a characterization of a simple graph G such that L n (G) has an even factor with at most k components, based on the existence of a certain type of subgraphs in G. Moreover, we use this result to give some upper bounds for the minimum number of components of even factors in L n (G) and also show that the minimum number of components of even factors in L n (G) is stable under the closure operation on a claw-free graph G, which extends some known results. Our results show that it seems to be NP-hard to determine the minimum number of components of even factors of iterated line graphs. We also propose some problems for further research.  相似文献

We present conditions that allow us to prove the existence of eigenvalues and characteristic values for operator F(D) ? C(λ): L 2(R m ) → L 2(R m ), where F(D) is a pseudo-differential operator with a symbol F() and C(λ): L 2(R m ) → L 2(R m ) is a linear continuous operator.  相似文献

We investigate the approximation rate for certain centered Gaussian fields by a general approach. Upper estimates are proved in the context of so–called Hölder operators and lower estimates follow from the eigenvalue behavior of some related self–adjoint integral operator in a suitable L 2(μ)–space. In particular, we determine the approximation rate for the Lévy fractional Brownian motion X H with Hurst parameter H∈(0,1), indexed by a self–similar set T?? N of Hausdorff dimension D. This rate turns out to be of order n ?H/D (log?n)1/2. In the case T=[0,1] N we present a concrete wavelet representation of X H leading to an approximation of X H with the optimal rate n ?H/N (log?n)1/2.  相似文献

We establish Cramér type moderate deviation results for heavy trimmed L-statistics; we obtain our results under a very mild smoothness condition on the inversion F ?1 (F is the underlying distribution function of i.i.d. observations) near two points, where trimming occurs, we assume also some smoothness of weights of the L-statistic. Our results complement previous work on Cramér type large deviations for trimmed L-statistics [8] and [5].  相似文献

Let L = L 0 + V be a Schrödinger type operator, where L 0 is a higher order elliptic operator with bounded complex coefficients in divergence form and V is a signed measurable function. Under the strongly subcritical assumption on V, we study the L q boundedness of Riesz transform ? m L ?1/2 for q ≤ 2 based on the off-diagonal estimates of semigroup e ?t L . Furthermore, the authors impose extra regularity assumptions on V to obtain the L q boundedness of Riesz transform ? m L ?1/2 for some q > 2. In particular, these results are applied to the more interesting Schrödinger operators L = P(D) + V, where P(D) is any homogeneous positive elliptic operator with constant coefficients.  相似文献
