This paper proves that, for any generator x∈ExtA^s,tq(Zp,Zp), if (1L ∧i)*Ф*(x)∈ExtA^s+1,tq+2q(H*L∧M, Zp) is a permanent cycle in the Adams spectral sequence (ASS), then b0x ∈ExtA^s+1,tq+q(Zp, Zp) also is a permenent cycle in the ASS. As an application, the paper obtains that h0hnhm∈ExtA^3,pnq+p^mq+q(Zp, Zp) is a permanent cycle in the ASS and it converges to elements of order p in the stable homotopy groups of spheres πp^nq+p^mq+q-3S, where p ≥5 is a prime, s ≤ 4, n ≥m+2≥4 and M is the Moore spectrum.  相似文献

Let p≥7 be an odd prime. Based on the Toda bracket α1βp-11, α1 β1, p, γs,the authors show that the relation α1βp-11h2,0 γs= βp/p-1γs holds. As a result, they can obtain α1βp1h2,0 γs = 0 ∈π*(S0) for 2≤s≤p- 2, even though α1h2,0γs and β1α1h2,0 γs are not trivial. They also prove that βp-11α1 h2,0 γ3 is nontrivial in π*(S0) and conjecture that βp-11α1 h2,0 γs is nontrivial in π*(S0) for 3≤s≤p- 2. Abstract Let A be the mod p Steenrod algebra and S the sphere spectrum localized at p, where p is an odd prime. In 2001 Lin detected a new family in the stable homotopy of spheres which is represented by (b0hn-h1bn-1)∈ ExtA^3,(p^n+p)q(Zp,Zp) in the Adams spectral sequence. At the same time, he proved that i.(hlhn) ∈ExtA^2,(p^n+P)q(H^*M, Zp) is a permanent cycle in the Adams spectral sequence and converges to a nontrivial element ξn∈π(p^n+p)q-2M. In this paper, with Lin's results, we make use of the Adams spectral sequence and the May spectral sequence to detect a new nontrivial family of homotopy elements jj′j^-γsi^-i′ξn in the stable homotopy groups of spheres. The new one is of degree p^nq + sp^2q + spq + (s - 2)q + s - 6 and is represented up to a nonzero scalar by hlhnγ-s in the E2^s+2,*-term of the Adams spectral sequence, where p ≥ 7, q = 2(p - 1), n ≥ 4 and 3 ≤ s 〈 p.  相似文献

In the present paper we show that if (X, B,μ) has a regular base, the cardinality of which is not greater than the cardinality of the continuum, then there exists a set K(?)X withμ*(K) = 1 such that (x1,...,xsγ)∈γr for anyγ∈Γand for any sγdistinct elements x1,..., xsγof K, whereμ* is the outer measure induced by the measureμ. We study the constrained systemof linear equations Ax=b,x∈R(Ak)for A∈Cn×nand b∈Cn,k=Ind(A).When the system is consistent,it is well known that it has a unique ADb.If the system is inconsistent,then we seek for the least squares solution of the problem and consider minx∈R(Ak)||b?Ax||2,where||·||2 is the 2-norm.For the inconsistent system with a matrix A of index one,it was proved recently that the solution is Ab using the core inverse Aof A.For matrices of an arbitrary index and an arbitrary b,we show that the solution of the constrained system can be expressed as Ab where Ais the core-EP inverse of A.We establish two Cramer’s rules for the inconsistent constrained least squares solution and develop several explicit expressions for the core-EP inverse of matrices of an arbitrary index.Using these expressions,two Cramer’s rules and one Gaussian elimination method for computing the core-EP inverse of matrices of an arbitrary index are proposed in this paper.We also consider the W-weighted core-EP inverse of a rectangular matrix and apply the weighted core-EP inverse to a more general constrained system of linear equations.  相似文献

A sequential effect algebra (E, 0, 1, ,o) is an effect algebra on which a sequential product o with certain physics properties is defined; in particular, sequential effect algebra is an important model for studying quantum measurement theory. In 2005, Gudder asked the following problem: If a, b E (E, 0, 1, , o) and a⊥b and a o b⊥a o b, is it the case that 2(a o b) ≤ a2 b2 ? A submanifold in a complex space form is called slant it it has constant Wirtinger angles. B, Y, Chen and Y. Tazawa proved that there do not exist minimal proper slant surfaces in CP^2 and CH^2. So it seems that the slant immersion has some interesting properties. The authors have great interest to consider slant immersions satisfying some additional conditions, such as unfull first normal bundles or Chen‘s equality holding. They prove that there do not exist n-dimensional Kaehlerian slant immersion sin CP^n and CH^n with unfull first normal bundles. Next, it is seen that every Kaehlerian slant submanifold satisfying an equality of Chen is minimal which is similar to that of Lagrangian immersions. But in contrast, it is shown that a large class of slant immersions do not exist thoroughly. Finally, they give an application of Chen‘s inequality to general slant immersions in a complex projective space, which generalizes a result of Chen.  相似文献
