We prove q-Taylor series for Jackson q-difference operators. Absolute and uniform convergence to the original function are proved for analytic functions. We derive interpolation results for entire functions of q-exponential growth which is less than lnq−1, 0<q<1, from its values at the nodes , a is a non-zero complex number with absolute and uniform convergence criteria.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss properties of convergence for the q-Meyer-König and Zeller operators Mn,q. Based on an explicit expression for Mn,q(t2,x) in terms of q-hypergeometric series, we show that for qn∈(0,1], the sequence (Mn,qn(f))n?1 converges to f uniformly on [0,1] for each fC[0,1] if and only if limn→∞qn=1. For fixed q∈(0,1), we prove that the sequence (Mn,q(f)) converges for each fC[0,1] and obtain the estimates for the rate of convergence of (Mn,q(f)) by the modulus of continuity of f, and the estimates are sharp in the sense of order for Lipschitz continuous functions. We also give explicit formulas of Voronovskaya type for the q-Meyer-König and Zeller operators for fixed 0<q<1. If 0<q<1, fC1[0,1], we show that the rate of convergence for the Meyer-König and Zeller operators is o(qn) if and only if

Let B be the unit ball in Cn with respect to an arbitrary norm and let f(z,t) be a g-Loewner chain such that etf(z,t)−z has a zero of order k+1 at z=0. In this paper, we obtain growth and covering theorems for . Moreover, we consider coefficient bounds and examples of mappings in .  相似文献

In the paper, we discuss Voronovskaya-type theorem and saturation of convergence for q-Bernstein polynomials for arbitrary fixed q, 0<q<1. We give explicit formulas of Voronovskaya-type for the q-Bernstein polynomials for 0<q<1. If , we show that the rate of convergence for the q-Bernstein polynomials is o(qn) if and only ifWe also prove that if f is convex on [0,1] or analytic on (-ε,1+ε) for some ε>0, then the rate of convergence for the q-Bernstein polynomials is o(qn) if and only if f is linear.  相似文献

An analytic function f(z) in the unit disc D is called stable if sn(f,·)/f?1/f holds for all for . Here sn stands for the nth partial sum of the Taylor expansion about the origin of f, and ? denotes the subordination of analytic functions in . We prove that (1−z)λ, λ∈[−1,1], are stable. The stability of turns out to be equivalent to a famous result of Vietoris on non-negative trigonometric sums. We discuss some generalizations of these results, and related conjectures, always with an eye on applications to positivity results for trigonometric and other polynomials.  相似文献

A triangle {a(n,k)}0?k?n of nonnegative numbers is LC-positive if for each r, the sequence of polynomials is q-log-concave. It is double LC-positive if both triangles {a(n,k)} and {a(n,nk)} are LC-positive. We show that if {a(n,k)} is LC-positive then the log-concavity of the sequence {xk} implies that of the sequence {zn} defined by , and if {a(n,k)} is double LC-positive then the log-concavity of sequences {xk} and {yk} implies that of the sequence {zn} defined by . Examples of double LC-positive triangles include the constant triangle and the Pascal triangle. We also give a generalization of a result of Liggett that is used to prove a conjecture of Pemantle on characteristics of negative dependence.  相似文献

We consider the Dirichlet problem with nonlocal coefficient given by in a bounded, smooth domain ΩRn (n?2), where Δp is the p-Laplacian, w is a weight function and the nonlinearity f(u) satisfies certain local bounds. In contrast with the hypotheses usually made, no asymptotic behavior is assumed on f. We assume that the nonlocal coefficient (q?1) is defined by a continuous and nondecreasing function satisfying a(t)>0 for t>0 and a(0)?0. A positive solution is obtained by applying the Schauder Fixed Point Theorem. The case a(t)=tγ/q (0<γ<p−1) will be considered as an example where asymptotic conditions on the nonlinearity provide the existence of a sequence of positive solutions for the problem with arbitrarily large sup norm.  相似文献

On h-convexity
We introduce a class of h-convex functions which generalize convex, s-convex, Godunova-Levin functions and P-functions. Namely, the h-convex function is defined as a non-negative function which satisfies f(αx+(1−α)y)?h(α)f(x)+h(1−α)f(y), where h is a non-negative function, α∈(0,1) and x,yJ. Some properties of h-convex functions are discussed. Also, the Schur-type inequality is given.  相似文献
