Let P = E G be a Zappa-Szp product of a semilattice E with an identity and a group G. In this paper, we first introduce the concept of congruence pairs for P , and then prove that every congruence on P can be described by such a congruence pair. In fact the congruence lattice on P is lattice-isomorphic to the set of all congruence pairs for P . Finally,we characterize group congruences on P .  相似文献

Let S be a regular semigroup with an inverse transversal S° and C(S) the congruence lattice of S. A relation K° on C(S) is introduced as follows: if ρ, θ∈ C(S), then we say that ρ and θ are K°-related if Ker ρ° = Ker θ° , where ρ° = ρ|S°. Expressions for the least and the greatest congruences in the same K°-class as ρ are provided. A number of equivalent conditions for K° being a congruence are given.  相似文献

In this paper, a special kind of partial algebras called projective partial groupoids is defined.It is proved that the inverse image of all projections of a fundamental weak regular ^*-semigroup under the homomorphism induced by the maximum idempotent-separating congruence of a weak regular ^*-semigroup has a projective partial groupoid structure. Moreover, a weak regular ^*-product which connects a fundamental weak regular ^*-semigroup with corresponding projective partial groupoid is defined and characterized. It is finally proved that every weak regular ^*-product is in fact a weak regular ^*-semigroup and any weak regular ^*-semigroup is constructed in this way.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the definition of ( m, n) 0-regularity in Γ-semigroups. We investigate and characterize the 20-regular class of Γ-semigroups using Green's relations. Extending and generalizing the Croisot's Theory of Decomposition for Γ-semigroups, we introduce and study the absorbent and regular absorbent Γ-semigroups. Let S be an orthodox semigroup and γ the least inverse congruence on S. C(S) denotes the set of all congruences on S. In this paper we introduce the concept of admissible triples for S, where admissible triples are constructed by the congruences on S/γ. the equivalences on E(S)/L and E(S)/R. The notation Ca(S) denotes the set of all admissible triple for S. We prove that every congruence p on S can be uniquely determined by the admissible triple induced by p, and there exists a lattice isomomorphism between C(S) and Ca(S).  相似文献

In this paper the Ⅰ and Ⅱ regular n-simplices are introduced. We prove that the sufficient and necessary conditions for existence of an Ⅰ regular n-simplex in Rn are that if n is even then n = 4m(m + 1), and if n is odd then n = 4m + 1 with that n + 1 can be expressed as a sum of two integral squares or n = 4m - 1, and that the sufficient and necessary condition for existence of a Ⅱ regular n-simplex in Rn is n = 2m2 - 1 or n = 4m(m+1)(m 6 N). In this paper,fuzzy quasi-ideals of ordered semigroups are characterized by the properties of their level subsets.Furthermore,we introduce the notion of completely semiprime fuzzy quasi-ideals of ordered semigroups and characterize strongly regular ordered semigroups in terms of completely semiprime fuzzy quasi-ideals.Finally,we investigate the characterizations and decompositions of left and right simple ordered semigroups by means of fuzzy quasi-ideals.  相似文献

In this paper, we have decomposed an AG-groupoid. Let S be an AG-groupoid with left identity and a relation γ be defined on S as: aγb if and only if there exist positive integers m and n such that bm ∈ ( Sa)S and a n ∈ ( Sb)S for all a and b in S. We have proved that S/γ is a maximal separative semilattice homomorphic image of S. Every AG-groupoid S is uniquely expressible as a semilattice Y of archimedean AG-groupoids Sα (α∈ Y ). The semilattice Y is isomorphic to S/γ and the S α (α∈ Y ) are the equivalence classes of S mod γ.  相似文献

In this paper, for an arbitrary regular biordered set E, by using biorder-isomorphisms between the w-ideals of E, we construct a fundamental regular semigroup WE called NH-semigroup of E, whose idempotent biordered set is isomorphic to E. We prove further that WE can be used to give a new representation of general regular semigroups in the sense that, for any regular semigroup S with the idempotent biordered set isomorphic to E, there exists a homomorphism from S to WE whose kernel is the greatest idempotent-separating congruence on S and the image is a full symmetric subsemigroup of WE. Moreover, when E is a biordered set of a semilattice Eo, WE is isomorphic to the Munn-semigroup TEo; and when E is the biordered set of a band B, WE is isomorphic to the Hall-semigroup WB.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the strongly nilpotency of Γ-rings and generalized Γ-rings.(Ⅰ) With what conditions is a strongly nil subring of Γ-rings strongly nilpotent?(Ⅱ) With what conditions is a nil subring of Γ-rings strongly nilpotent?For(Ⅰ), the condition is one of the following conditions:(1) ascending chain condition on the- strongly nilpotent subrings.(2) Noether's condition.(3) Goldie's condition.(4) ascending chain condition on right annihilators and on left annihilators. For(Ⅱ), the conditions is (2) or (3). In order that the above results may contain the corresponding results of associative rings, a new concept, generalized Γ-ring is introduced, so that any associative ring is naturally explained as a generalized Γ-ring. It is proved that the above results are valid in generalized Γ-rings. Thence the well-known results of associative rings are special cases in generalized Γ-rings.  相似文献

The authors obtain a sufficient condition to determine whether an element is a vanishing regular element of some Brauer character. More precisely, let G be a finite group and p be a fixed prime, and H = G ′O p ′ (G); if g ∈ G0 -H0 with o(gH ) coprime to the number of irreducible p-Brauer characters of G, then there always exists a nonlinear irreducible p-Brauer character which vanishes on g. The authors also show in this note that the sums of certain irreducible p-Brauer characters take the value zero on every element of G0-H0 .  相似文献

Consider all the arithmetic progressions of odd numbers, no term of which is of the form 2^k + p, where k is a positive integer and p is an odd prime. ErdSs ever asked whether all these progressions can be obtained from covering congruences. In this paper, we characterize all arithmetic progressions in which there are positive proportion natural numbers that can be expressed in the form 2^k + p, and give a quantitative form of Romanoff's theorem on arithmetic progressions. As a corollary, we prove that the answer to the above Erdos problem is affirmative.  相似文献

We study another structure of so-called left C-wrpp semigroups. In particular, the concept of left △-product is extended and enriched. The aim of this paper is to give a construction of left C-wrpp semigroups by a left regular band and a strong semilattice of left-R cancellative monoids.
