We consider a class of matrix quasielliptic operators on the n-dimensional space. For these operators, we establish the isomorphism properties in some special scales of weighted Sobolev spaces. Basing on these properties, we prove the unique solvability of the initial value problem for a class of Sobolev type equations.  相似文献

Tropical differential equations are introduced and an algorithm is designed which tests solvability of a system of tropical linear differential equations within the complexity polynomial in the size of the system and in the absolute values of its coefficients. Moreover, we show that there exists a minimal solution, and the algorithm constructs it (in case of solvability). This extends a similar complexity bound established for tropical linear systems. In case of tropical linear differential systems in one variable a polynomial complexity algorithm for testing its solvability is designed.We prove also that the problem of solvability of a system of tropical non-linear differential equations in one variable is NP-hard, and this problem for arbitrary number of variables belongs to NP. Similar to tropical algebraic equations, a tropical differential equation expresses the (necessary) condition on the dominant term in the issue of solvability of a differential equation in power series.  相似文献

In this paper, we first investigate the invertibility of a class of matrices. Based on the obtained results, we then discuss the solvability of Newton equations appearing in the smoothing-type algorithm for solving the second-order cone complementarity problem (SOCCP). A condition ensuring the solvability of such a system of Newton equations is given. In addition, our results also show that the assumption that the Jacobian matrix of the function involved in the SOCCP is a P0-matrix is not enough for ensuring the solvability of such a system of Newton equations, which is different from the one of smoothing-type algorithms for solving many traditional optimization problems in n.  相似文献

We propose four new convolutions exhibiting convenient factorization properties associated with two finite interval integral transformations of Fourier-type together with their norm inequalities. Moreover, we study the solvability of a class of integral equations of Wiener-Hopf plus Hankel type (on finite intervals) with the help of the factorization identities of such convolutions. Fourier-type series are used to produce the solution formula of such equations, and a Shannon-type sampling formula is also obtained.  相似文献

In the present paper, we consider integral equations, which are associated with nonlinear Markov operators acting on an infinite-dimensional space. The solvability of these equations is examined by investigating nonlinear Markov operators. Notions of orthogonal preserving and surjective nonlinear Markov operators defined on infinite dimension are introduced, and their relations are studied, which will be used to prove the main results. We show that orthogonal preserving nonlinear Markov operators are not necessarily satisfied surjective property (unlike finite case). Thus, sufficient conditions for the operators to be surjective are described. Using these notions and results, we prove the solvability of Hammerstein equations in terms of surjective nonlinear Markov operators.  相似文献

We consider a one-dimensional perturbation of the convolution operator. We study the inverse reconstruction problem for the convolution component using the characteristic numbers under the assumption that the perturbation summand is known a priori. The problem is reduced to the solution of the so-called basic nonlinear integral equation with singularity. We prove the global solvability of this nonlinear equation. On the basis of these results, we prove a uniqueness theorem and obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the solvability of the inverse problem.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the Cauchy problem for multidimensional elliptic equations in a cylindrical domain. The method of spectral expansion in eigenfunctions of the Cauchy problem for equations with deviating argument establishes a criterion of the strong solvability of the considered elliptic Cauchy problem. It is shown that the ill-posedness of the elliptic Cauchy problem is equivalent to the existence of an isolated point of the continuous spectrum for a self-adjoint operator with deviating argument.  相似文献

By using the notion of strongly (B, p)-sectorial operator and fractional differential calculus, we analyze the unique solvability of the Cauchy and Showalter problems for a class of degenerate fractional evolution systems. We consider the first initial-boundary value problem for multidimensional strongly nonlinear equations with double nonlinearity of pseudoparabolic type in a bounded domain with sufficiently smooth boundary. We prove the local solvability of this problem in the weak generalized sense. Depending on the nonlinearity and initial conditions under consideration, we prove the solvability of the equation in any finite cylinder (x, t) ∈ Ω × [0, T] or the destruction of the solution in finite time.  相似文献

We consider a nonlinear system of differential equations in a general case with a singular matrix at the derivatives, with a vector deviation which depends on a parameter. We seek for a periodic solution to the system in the set of trigonometric series such that the sequences of their coefficients belong to the space l 1.We use the method, representing a space as a direct sum of subspaces, and the method of a fixed point of a nonlinear operator as the main investigation techniques.We reduce the question on the existence of a periodic solution to that of the solvability of an operator equation, whose principal part is defined in a finite-dimensional space.  相似文献

We study the solvability of a class of integro-differential equations with almost difference kernel on the positive half-line. Using a special three-factor decomposition of the original integro-differential operator, we obtain sufficient conditions for the solvability of this equation in the class of tempered absolutely continuous functions. Under additional conditions on the kernel of the corresponding homogeneous equation with some value of the parameter occurring in it, we prove the existence of a nontrivial absolutely continuous solution, which, depending on the sign of the first moment of the kernel, is either a bounded function or has the asymptotics O(x), x → ∞.  相似文献

The nontrivial solvability of the homogeneous Dirichlet problem in a unit disk $ K\subset {{\mathbb{R}}^2} $ in positive Sobolev spaces is studied for a typeless differential equation of arbitrary even order 2m, m ≥ 2, with constant complex-valued coefficients and homogeneous symbol. The detailed proofs of the criteria of nontrivial solvability of the problem are given in various cases that form a complete picture. The example considered by A. V. The paper addresses nonlinear inverse Sturm–Liouville-type problems with constant delay. Since many processes in the real world possess nonlocal nature, operators with delay as well as other classes of nonlocal operators are continuously finding numerous applications in the natural sciences and engineering. However, in spite of a large number of works devoted to inverse problems for operators with delay, the existing results do not give a comprehensive picture for all values of the delay parameter. Namely, for small delays, even such a basic question as the unique solvability of the inverse problem has been remaining open for many years. Since the problems with delay approximate the classical Sturm–Liouville problems as soon as the delay parameter tends to zero, many researchers expected the unique solvability as in the classical case. Here we give, however, a negative answer to this long-term basic question by constructing infinite families of iso-bispectral potentials. For this purpose, we develop a unified general approach that simultaneously covers various types of boundary conditions and allows one to significantly shorten the related proofs.  相似文献

In this paper, we first establish a locality theory for the Noethericity of generalized boundary value problems on the spaces . By means of this theory, of the classical boundary value theory, and of the theory of Fourier analysis, we discuss the necessary and sufficient conditions of the solvability and obtain the general solutions and the Noether conditions for one class of generalized boundary value problems. All cases as regards the index of the coefficients in the equations are considered in detail. Moreover, we apply our theoretical results to the solvability of singular integral equations with variable coefficients. Thus, this paper will be of great significance for the study of improving and developing complex analysis, integral equation, and boundary value theory.  相似文献
