A GENERAL FORM OF THE INCREMENTS OF A TWO-PARAMETER WIENER PROCESS

In this paper,we consider a general form of the increments for a two-parameter Wiener process.Both the Csorgo-Revesz‘s increments and a class of the lag increments are the special cases of this general form of increments.Our results imply the theorem that have been given by Csorgo and Revesz(1978),and some of their conditions are removed.     

THE CONSTRUCTION OF A KIND OF RATIONAL SPLINES

We structure a kind of rational splines far introducing some of the Pade approximent techniques into rational splines.In this paper,the results on the existence,uniqueness and algorithm of the rational spline are given and a numerical example is provided.     

SOLITON SOLUTIONS OF A CLASS OF GENERALIZED NONLINEAR SCHRODINGER EQUATIONS

Soliton solutions of a class of generalized nonlinear evolution equations are discussed ana-lytically and numerically. This is done by using a travelling wave method to formulate one-soliton solution and the finite difference method to the numerical solutions and the interactions betweenthe solitons for the generalized nonlinear Sehrodinger equations. the characteristic behavior of thenonlinearity admintted in the system has been investigated and the soliton states of the system in thelimit when a→Oand a→∞ have been studled. The results presented show that the soliton phe-rtomenon is charaeteristics associated with the nonlinearities of the dynamical systems.     

UNIFORM APPROXIMATION OF A MULTIOBJECTIVE OPTIMIZATION SEQUENCE

In this paper the Pareto efficiency of a uniformly convergent multiobjective optimization sequence is studied. We obtain some relation between the Pareto efficient solutions of a given multiobjective optimization problem and those of its uniformly convergent optimization sequence and also some relation between the weak Pareto efficient solutions of the same optimization problem and those of its uniformly convergent optimization sequence. Besides, under a compact convex assumption for constraints set and a certain convex assumption for both objective and constraint functions, we also get some sufficient and necessary conditions that the limit of solutions of a uniformly convergent multiobjective optimization sequence is the solution of a given multiobjective optimization problem.     

OSCILLATION OF A CLASS OF HILLE EQUATION

This paper studies a class of Hille equation. A formula for solutions of a class of Hille equation is given. Under some suitable conditions the oscillation and nonoscillation of a class of Hille equation are established. Our results generalize the known Hille's ones.

SENSITIVITY OF THE EIGENVALUES OF A DEFECTIVE MATRIX

This paper is concerned with the sensitivity of the eigenvalues of a defective matrixunder small perturbations.The given estimate generalizes all special results of Wilkinson,Stewart,Bauer and Fike,when the eigenvalue is simple and when the matrix is nondefective,and interpretes the phenomenon indicated by Golub and Wilkinson for Multiple eigenvalues     

THE BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS OF A CLASS OF ELLIPTIC EQUATION WITH A CURVE OF TURNING POINT

The boundary value problems of a class of elliptic equation with a curveof turning point are considered. Using the method of multiple scales and thecomparison theorem, the asymptotic behavior of solution for the boundary valueproblem is studied.     

A PROPERTY OF HERMITE-PADE INTERPOLATION ON THE ROOTS OF UNITY

We extend a theorem of Ivanev and Saff to show that for the Hermite-Pade interpolant at the roots of unity to a function meromorphic in the unit disc, its leading coefficients vanish if and only if the corresponding interpolani to a related function vanishes at given points outside the unit disc. The result is then extended to simultaneous Hermite-Pade interpolation to a finite set of functions.     

THE EXISTENCE OF THE SOLUTIONS FOR A CLASS OF SEMILINEAR EVOLUTION EQUATIONS

The author obtains the existence of the local and global solution for a class of semilinear evolution equations in a Hilbert spcae, and uses the results to prove the existence of the solution for semilinear parabolic partial differential equations in R~n.

A SIMPLE EXAMPLE OF A NON-FINITELY BASED SYSTEM OF POLYNOMIAL IDENTITIES

ABSTRACT

A system of polynomial identities is called finitely based if it is equivalent to some finite system of polynomial identities. Every system of polynomial identities in associative algebras over a field of characteristic 0 is finitely based: this is a celebrated result of Kemer. The first non-finitely based systems of polynomial identities in associative algebras over a field of a prime characteristic have been constructed recently by Belov, Grishin and Shchigolev. These systems of identities are relatively complicated. In the present paper we construct a simpler example of such a system and give a simple self-contained proof of the fact that the system is non-finitely based.
