In this paper we solve the gravity (Huff) model for the competitive facility location problem. We show that the generalized Weiszfeld procedure converges to a local maximum or a saddle point. We also devise a global optimization procedure that finds the optimal solution within a given accuracy. This procedure is very efficient and finds the optimal solution for 10,000 demand points in less than six minutes of computer time. We also experimented with the generalized Weiszfeld algorithm on the same set of randomly generated problems. We repeated the algorithm from 1,000 different starting solutions and the optimum was obtained at least 17 times for all problems.  相似文献

We study the spherical facility location problem which is a more realistic model than the Euclidean facilities location. We present a modified algorithm for this problem, which has the following good properties: (a) It is very easy to initialize the algorithm with an arbitrary point as its starting point; (b) Under suitable assumptions, it is proved that the algorithm globally converges to a global minimizer of the problem.  相似文献

一个优化问题的逆问题是这样一类问题,在给定该优化问题的一个可行解时,通过最小化目标函数中参数的改变量(在某个范数下)使得该可行解成为改变参数后的该优化问题的最优解。对于本是NP-难问题的无容量限制设施选址问题,证明了其逆问题仍是NP-难的。研究了使用经典的行生成算法对无容量限制设施选址的逆问题进行计算,并给出了求得逆问题上下界的启发式方法。两种方法分别基于对子问题的线性松弛求解给出上界和利用邻域搜索以及设置迭代循环次数的方式给出下界。数值结果表明线性松弛法得到的上界与最优值差距较小,但求解效率提升不大;而启发式方法得到的下界与最优值差距极小,极大地提高了求解该逆问题的效率。  相似文献

传统的设施选址问题一般假设所有顾客都被服务,考虑到异常点的存在不仅会增加总费用(设施的开设费用与连接费用之和),也会影响到对其他顾客的服务质量。研究异常点在最终方案中允许不被服务的情况,称之为带有异常点的平方度量设施选址问题。该问题是无容量设施选址问题的推广。问题可描述如下:给定设施集合、顾客集,以及设施开设费用和顾客连接费用,目标是选择设施的子集开设以满足顾客的需求,使得设施开设费用与连接费用之和最小。利用原始对偶技巧设计了近似算法,证明了该算法的近似比是9。  相似文献

设施选址问题是组合优化中重要问题之一。动态设施选址问题是传统设施选址问题的推广,其中度量空间中设施的开设费用和顾客的需求均随着时间的变化而变化。更多地,经典设施选址问题假设所有的顾客都需要被服务。在这个模型假设下,所有的顾客都需要服务。但事实上,有时为服务距离较远的顾客,需要单独开设设施,导致了资源的浪费。因此,在模型设置中,可以允许一些固定数目的顾客不被服务 (带异常点的设施选址问题),此外也可以通过支付一些顾客的惩罚费用以达到不服务的目的 (带惩罚的设施选址问题)。本文将综合以上两种鲁棒设置考虑同时带有异常点和惩罚的动态设施选址问题,通过原始-对偶框架得到近似比为3的近似算法。  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a vector-valued Tikhonov-type regularization algorithm for an extended-valued multiobjective optimization problem. Under some mild conditions, we prove that any sequence generated by this algorithm converges to a weak Pareto optimal solution of the multiobjective optimization problem. 为提高应急设施运行的可靠性和抵御中断风险的能力, 研究中断情境下的应急设施选址-分配决策问题。扩展传统无容量限制的固定费用选址模型, 从抵御设施中断的视角和提高服务质量的视角建立选址布局网络的双目标优化模型, 以应急设施的建立成本和抵御设施中断的加固成本最小为目标, 以最大化覆盖服务质量水平为目标, 在加固预算有限及最大最小容量限制约束下, 构建中断情境下应急设施的可靠性选址决策优化模型。针对所构建模型的特性利用非支配排序多目标遗传算法(NSGA-Ⅱ)求解该模型, 得到多目标的Pareto前沿解集。以不同的算例分析和验证模型和算法的可行性。在获得Pareto前沿的同时对不同中断概率进行灵敏度分析, 给出Pareto最优解集的分布及应急设施选址布局网络的拓扑结构。  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the notion of a weak sharp set of solutions to a variational inequality problem (VIP) in a reflexive, strictly convex and smooth Banach space, and present its several equivalent conditions. We also prove, under some continuity and monotonicity assumptions, that if any sequence generated by an algorithm for solving (VIP) converges to a weak sharp solution, then we can obtain solutions for (VIP) by solving a finite number of convex optimization subproblems with linear objective. Moreover, in order to characterize finite convergence of an iterative algorithm, we introduce the notion of a weak subsharp set of solutions to a variational inequality problem (VIP), which is more general than that of weak sharp solutions in Hilbert spaces. We establish a sufficient and necessary condition for the finite convergence of an algorithm for solving (VIP) which satisfies that the sequence generated by which converges to a weak subsharp solution of (VIP), and show that the proximal point algorithm satisfies this condition. As a consequence, we prove that the proximal point algorithm possesses finite convergence whenever the sequence generated by which converges to a weak subsharp solution of (VIP).  相似文献

We consider a generalized version of the rooted connected facility location problem which occurs in planning of telecommunication networks with both survivability and hop-length constraints. Given a set of client nodes, a set of potential facility nodes including one predetermined root facility, a set of optional Steiner nodes, and the set of the potential connections among these nodes, that task is to decide which facilities to open, how to assign the clients to the open facilities, and how to interconnect the open facilities in such a way, that the resulting network contains at least λ edge-disjoint paths, each containing at most H edges, between the root and each open facility and that the total cost for opening facilities and installing connections is minimal. We study two IP models for this problem and present a branch-and-cut algorithm based on Benders decomposition for finding its solution. Finally, we report computational results.  相似文献
