In this work, we focus on the time-domain simulation of the propagation of electromagnetic waves in non-homogeneous lossy coaxial cables. The full 3D Maxwell equations, that described the propagation of current and electric potential in such cables, are classically not tackled directly, but instead a 1D scalar model known as the telegraphist's model is used. We aim at justifying, by means of asymptotic analysis, a time-domain “homogenized” telegraphist's model. This model, which includes a nonlocal in time operator, is obtained via asymptotic analysis, for a lossy coaxial cable whose cross section is not homogeneous.  相似文献

In this Note, we propose a natural two-dimensional model of “Koiter's type” for a general linearly elastic shell confined in a half space. This model is governed by a set of variational inequalities posed over a non-empty closed and convex subset of the function space used for modeling the corresponding “unconstrained” Koiter's model. To study the limit behavior of the proposed model as the thickness of the shell, regarded as a small parameter, approaches zero, we perform a rigorous asymptotic analysis, distinguishing the cases where the shell is either an elliptic membrane shell, a generalized membrane shell of the first kind, or a flexural shell. Moreover, in the case where the shell is an elliptic membrane shell, we show that the limit model obtained via the asymptotic analysis of our proposed two-dimensional Koiter's model coincides with the limit model obtained via a rigorous asymptotic analysis of the corresponding three-dimensional “constrained” model.  相似文献

研究了一类具有比率型功能性反应的捕食模型,对模型进行了定性和稳定性分析,讨论了模型唯一正平衡点的存在条件,以及模型各个平衡点的性态.得到了各个平衡点全局渐近稳定的充分条件.通过绘制模型的相轨线,分析轨线的走向得到了原点全局渐近稳定的条件,并证明了模型不存在非平凡正周期解的条件,通过构造Lyapunov函数得到了模型的唯一正平衡点是全局渐近稳定的结论.  相似文献

In this paper, a delayed Holling-Tanner predator-prey model with ratio-dependent functional response is considered. It is proved that the model system is permanent under certain conditions. The local asymptotic stability and the Hopf-bifurcation results are discussed. Qualitative behaviour of the singularity (0,0) is explored by using a blow up transformation. Global asymptotic stability analysis of the positive equilibrium is carried out. Numerical simulations are presented for the support of our analytical findings.  相似文献

In this paper, asymptotic properties of the loss probability are considered for an M/G/1/N queue with server vacations and exhaustive service discipline, denoted by an M/G/1/N-(V, E)-queue. Exact asymptotic rates of the loss probability are obtained for the cases in which the traffic intensity is smaller than, equal to and greater than one, respectively. When the vacation time is zero, the model considered degenerates to the standard M/G/1/N queue. For this standard queueing model, our analysis provides new or extended asymptotic results for the loss probability. In terms of the duality relationship between the M/G/1/N and GI/M/1/N queues, we also provide asymptotic properties for the standard GI/M/1/N model.  相似文献

A new technique is proposed for the analysis of shape optimization problems. The technique uses the asymptotic analysis of boundary value problems in singularly perturbed geometrical domains. The asymptotics of solutions are derived in the framework of compound and matched asymptotics expansions. The analysis involves the so-called interior topology variations. The asymptotic expansions are derived for a model problem, however the technique applies to general elliptic boundary value problems. The self-adjoint extensions of elliptic operators and the weighted spaces with detached asymptotics are exploited for the modelling of problems with small defects in geometrical domains, The error estimates for proposed approximations of shape functionals are provided.  相似文献

In this paper, the asymptotic behavior of the Morris–Lecar model is studied. Firstly, the phase plane characteristic of the model is investigated, secondly, in terms of the concepts of slow manifold and fast foliation, the asymptotic structure of the Morris–Lecar model is discussed based on Tikhonov's theorem. Finally, computation and analysis results show that the spiking of action potential of Morris–Lecar neuron actually has the jump onset–jump return structure.  相似文献

本文首先给出了一种用于描述材料软化,并存在有粘塑性的材料模型.用这种模型对反平面剪切型动态扩展状态下,裂纹尖端的弹粘塑性场进行了渐近分析,给出了弹性-应变软化粘塑性材料反平面剪切动态扩展裂纹尖端的渐近解方程.分析结果表明,在裂纹尖端应变具有(ln(R/r))1/(n+1)的奇异性,应力具有(ln(R/r))-n/(n+1)的奇异性.从而本文揭示了应变软化粘塑性材料反平面剪切动态扩展裂纹尖端的渐近行为.  相似文献

We study the stationary motion of a micropolar fluid in a thin (or long) curved pipe via rigorous asymptotic analysis. An asymptotic solution is found, showing explicitly the effects of pipe’s distortion and microstructure on the effective behavior of the flow.
