本文研究了度量空间中连续映射构成半群的拓扑熵.利用Patr′ao~([8])的方法,给出了度量空间中两种有限个连续映射构成的半群的拓扑d-熵的定义,比较了两种拓扑d-熵的大小.证明了局部紧致可分度量空间上有限个真映射构成的半群的拓扑d-熵和它的一点紧化空间上对应的拓扑熵相等.上面结果推广了Patr′ao的相应结论.  相似文献

In this paper we first introduce the concept of compatible mappings of type (B) and compare these mappings with compatible mappings and compatible mappings of type (A) in Saks spaces. In the sequel, we derive some relations between these mappings. The concepts of almost biased mappings and almost compatible mappings are introduced. Some variants of these concepts are also discussed. A common fixed point theorem for a pair of almost I-biased mappings in metric spaces is proved under certain condition. We study the existence of fixed points in the context of uniformly convex geodesic metric spaces, hyperconvex spaces and Banach spaces for single and multivalued mappings satisfying conditions that generalize the concept of nonexpansivity. Besides, we use the fixed point theorems proved here to give common fixed point results for commuting mappings.  相似文献

Since bounded hyperconvex metric spaces have the fixed point property for nonexpansive mappings, it is natural to extend such a powerful result to asymptotically nonexpansive mappings. Our main result states that the approximate fixed point property holds in this case. The proof is based on the use, for the first time, of the ultrapower of a metric space.

This paper deals with the stability properties of those set-valued mappings from locally metrizable spaces to Euclidean spaces for which the images are the convex hull of their boundaries (i.e., they are closed convex sets not containing a halfspace). Examples of this class of mappings are the feasible set and the optimal set of convex optimization problems, and the solution set of convex systems, when the data are subject to perturbations. More in detail, we associate with the given set-valued mapping its corresponding boundary mapping and we analyze the transmission of the stability properties (lower and upper semicontinuity, continuity and closedness) from the given mapping to its boundary and vice versa.  相似文献

We show that finite products of uniformly noncreasy spaces with a strictly monotone norm have the fixed point property for nonexpansive mappings. It gives new and natural examples of superreflexive Banach spaces without normal structure but with the fixed point property.
