In this paper, the author studies the local existence of strong solutions and their possible blow-up in time for a quasilinear system describing the interaction of a short wave induced by an electron field with a long wave representing an extension of the motion of the director field in a nematic liquid crystal’s asymptotic model introduced in [Saxton, R. In this paper, we obtain the Hejek-Renyi-type inequality for a class of random variable sequences and give some applications for associated random variable sequences, strongly positive dependent stochastic sequences and martingale difference sequences which generalize and improve the results of Prakasa Rao and Soo published in Statist. Probab. Lett., 57(2002) and 78(2008). Using this result, we get the integrability of supremum and the strong law of large numbers for a class of random variable sequences.  相似文献

Using the cone and partial ordering theory and mixed monotone operator theory, the existence and uniqueness of solutions for some classes of systems of nonlinear two binary operator equations in a Banach space with a partial ordering are discussed. And the error estimates that the iterative sequences converge to solutions are also given. Some relevant results of solvability of two binary operator equations and systems of operator equations are improved and generalized.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce a new perturbed proximal-projection algorithm for finding the common element of the set of fixed points of non-expansive mappings and the set of solutions of nonlinear mixed variational-like inequalities. The convergence criteria of the iterative sequences generated by the new iterative algorithm is also given. Our approach and results generalize many known results in this field.  相似文献

In this paper, the authors study the periodic boundary value problems of a class of nonlinear integro-differential equations of mixed type in Banach space with Carath′eodory's conditions. We arrive at the conclusion of the existence of generalized solutions between general- ized upper and lower solutions, and develop the monotone iterative technique to find generalized extremal solutions as limits of monotone solution sequences in Banach space.  相似文献

This paper concerns a system of equations describing the vibrations of a planar network of nonlinear Timoshenko beams.The authors derive the equations and appropriate nodal conditions,determine equilibrium solutions and,using the methods of quasilinear hyperbolic systems,prove that for tree-like networks the natural initial-boundary value problem admits semi-global classical solutions in the sense of Li [Li,T.T.,Controllability and Observability for Quasilinear Hyperbolic Systems,AIMS Ser.Appl.Math.,vol 3,American Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Higher Education Press,2010] existing in a neighborhood of the equilibrium solution.The authors then prove the local exact controllability of such networks near such equilibrium configurations in a certain specified time interval depending on the speed of propagation in the individual beams.  相似文献

This paper proves three conjectures on congruences involving central binomial coefficients or Lucas sequences.Let p be an odd prime and let a be a positive integer.It is shown that if p=1(mod 4)or a1then where(—)denotes the Jacobi symbol.This confirms a conjecture of the second author.A conjecture of Tauraso is also confirmed by showing that where the Lucas numbers Lo,L_1,L_2,...are defined by L_0=2,L_1=1 and L_n+1=L_n+L_n-l(n=1,2,3,...).The third theorem states that if p=5 then F_p~a-(p~a/5)mod p~3 can be determined in the following way:which appeared as a conjecture in a paper of Sun and Tauraso in 2010.  相似文献

This paper deals with a monotone weighted average iterative method for solving semilinear singularly perturbed parabolic problems. Monotone sequences, based on the ac- celerated monotone iterative method, are constructed for a nonlinear difference scheme which approximates the semilinear parabolic problem. This monotone convergence leads to the existence-uniqueness theorem. An analysis of uniform convergence of the monotone weighted average iterative method to the solutions of the nonlinear difference scheme and continuous problem is given. Some nonlinear approximants, i.e., exponential-sum interpolation with equal distance or at origin, (0,1)-type, (0,2)-type and (1,2)-type fraction-sum approximations, for matrixvalued functions are introduced. All these approximation problems lead to a same form system of nonlinear equations. The properties of continued fractions, generalized golden sections, and generalized Fibonacci and Lucas numbers are proved on the ground of the properties of subsemigroups of the group of invertible integer matrices. Some properties of special recurrent sequences are studied. A new proof of the Pisot-Vijayaraghavan theorem is given. Some connections between continued fractions and Pisot numbers are considered. For any function F(x) having a Taylor expansion we solve the boson normal ordering problem for $F [(a^\dag)^r a^s]$, with r, s positive integers, $F [(a, a^\dag]=1$, i.e., we provide exact and explicit expressions for its normal form $\mathcal{N} \{F [(a^\dag)^r a^s]\} = F [(a^\dag)^r a^s]$, where in $ \mathcal{N} (F) $ all a's are to the right. The solution involves integer sequences of numbers which, for $ r, s \geq 1 $, are generalizations of the conventional Bell and Stirling numbers whose values they assume for $ r=s=1 $. A complete theory of such generalized combinatorial numbers is given including closed-form expressions (extended Dobinski-type formulas), recursion relations and generating functions. Klapper (1994) showed that there exists a class of geometric sequences with the maximal possible linear complexity when considered as sequences over $GF(2)$, but these sequences have very low linear complexities when considered as sequences over $GF(p)(p$ is an odd prime). This linear complexity of a binary sequence when considered as a sequence over $GF(p)$ is called $GF(p)$ complexity. This indicates that the binary sequences with high $GF(2)$ linear complexities are inadequate for security in the practical application, while, their $GF(p)$ linear complexities are also equally important, even when the only concern is with attacks using the Berlekamp-Massey algorithm [Massey, J. L., Shift-register synthesis and bch decoding, {\it IEEE Transactions on Information Theory}, {\bf 15}(1), 1969, 122--127]. From this perspective, in this paper the authors study the $GF(p)$ linear complexity of Hall''s sextic residue sequences and some known cyclotomic-set-based sequences.  相似文献
