In this paper we consider continuity properties of a stochastic heat equation of the form ∂u(t,x)/∂t = ∂2u(t,x)/∂x2 + f(u(t,x))Wx,t. We prove that the solutions of this equation depend continuously on the function f and give some new estimates for this connection.  相似文献

We consider the nonlinear parabolic equation ut = (k(u)ux)x + b(u)x, where u = u(x, t, x ε R1, t > 0; k(u) ≥ 0, b(u) ≥ 0 are continuous functions as u ≥ 0, b (0) = 0; k, b > 0 as u > 0. At t = 0 nonnegative, continuous and bounded initial value is prescribed. The boundary condition u(0, t) = Ψ(t) is supposed to be unbounded as t → +∞. In this paper, sufficient conditions for space localization of unbounded boundary perturbations are found. For instance, we show that nonlinear equation ut = (unux)x + (uβ)x, n ≥ 0, β >; n + 1, exhibits the phenomenon of “inner boundedness,” for arbitrary unbounded boundary perturbations.  相似文献

The Sobolev space Hs(Rd) with s > d/2 contains many important functions such as the bandlimited or rational ones. In this paper we propose a sequence of measurement functions {ϕj,kγ} ⊆ H-s(Rd) to the phase retrieval problem for the real-valued functions in Hs(Rd). We prove that any real-valued function fHs(Rd) can be determined, up to a global sign, by the phaseless measurements {|<f, ϕj,kγ>|}. It is known that phase retrieval is unstable in infinite dimensional spaces with respect to perturbations of the measurement functions. We examine a special type of perturbations that ensures the stability for the phase-retrieval problem for all the real-valued functions in Hs(Rd) ∩ C1(Rd), and prove that our iterated reconstruction procedure guarantees uniform convergence for any function fHs(Rd) ∩ C1(Rd) whose Fourier transform f is L1-integrable. Moreover, numerical simulations are conducted to test the efficiency of the reconstruction algorithm.  相似文献

We construct the polynomial pm,n* of degree m which interpolates a given real-valued function f L2[a, b] at pre-assigned n distinct nodes and is the best approximant to f in the L2-sense over all polynomials of degree m with the same interpolatory character. We focus on the Lp(R2) theory of the fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) for 1 ≤ p ≤ 2. In L1(R2), we mainly study the properties of the FRFT via introducing the two-parameter chirp operator. In order to get the point-wise convergence for the inverse FRFT, we introduce the fractional convolution and establish the corresponding approximate identities. Then the well-defined inverse FRFT is given via approximation by suitable means, such as fractional Gauss means and Able means. Furthermore, if the signal Fα,βf is received, we give the process of recovering the original signal f with MATLAB. In L2(R2), the general Plancherel theorem, direct sum decomposition, and the general Heisenberg inequality for the FRFT are obtained.  相似文献

We consider Hamiltonian partial differential equations utt +|x|u+ σu = f(u), xT, t?, with periodic boundary conditions, where f(u) is a real-analytic function of the form f(u) = u5 + o(u5) near u = 0, σ ∈ (0, 1) is a fixed constant, and T=?/2πZT= R/2πZ. A family of quasi-periodic solutions with 2-dimensional are constructed for the equation above with σ ∈ (0, 1)\ ?. Given a graph G and a positive integer d, an L(d,1)-labeling of G is a function f that assigns to each vertex of G a non-negative integer such that if two vertices u and v are adjacent, then |f(u)−f(v)|d; if u and v are not adjacent but there is a two-edge path between them, then |f(u)−f(v)|1. The L(d,1)-number of G, λd(G), is defined as the minimum m such that there is an L(d,1)-labeling f of G with f(V){0,1,2,…,m}. Motivated by the channel assignment problem introduced by Hale (Proc. IEEE 68 (1980) 1497–1514), the L(2,1)-labeling and the L(1,1)-labeling (as d=2 and 1, respectively) have been studied extensively in the past decade. This article extends the study to all positive integers d. We prove that λd(G2+(d−1)Δ for any graph G with maximum degree Δ. Different lower and upper bounds of λd(G) for some families of graphs including trees and chordal graphs are presented. In particular, we show that the lower and the upper bounds for trees are both attainable, and the upper bound for chordal graphs can be improved for several subclasses of chordal graphs.  相似文献

We propose to regularize the bidimensional inverse Stefan problem that is to determine the boundary temperature u(x,0,t) in the liquid phase in a medium of water and melting ice. This ill-posed problem is regularized by means of a convolution equation and an error estimate in L2(R2) is obtained. Numerical results are given.  相似文献

We introduce a concept of the bounded rank (with respect to a positive constant) for unital C*-algebras as a modification of the usual real rank and present a series of conditions insuring that bounded and real ranks coincide. These observations are then used to prove that for a given n and K>0 there exists a separable unital C*-algebra ZnK such that every other separable unital C*-algebra of bounded rank with respect to K at most n is a quotient of ZnK.  相似文献

Let n3 and be positive integers, f :SnSn be a C0-mapping, and denote the standard embedding. As an application of the Pontryagin–Thom construction in the special case of the two-point configuration space, we construct complete algebraic obstructions O(f) and to discrete and isotopic realizability (realizability as an embedding) of the mapping Jf. The obstructions are described in terms of stable (equivariant) homotopy groups of neighborhoods of the singular set Σ(f)={(x,y)Sn×Snf(x)=f(y), xy}.

A standard method of solving problems in differential topology is to translate them into homotopy theory by means of bordism theory and Pontryagin–Thom construction. By this method we give a generalization of the van-Kampen–Skopenkov obstruction to discrete realizability of f and the van-Kampen–Melikhov obstruction to isotopic realizability of f. The latter are complete only in the case d=0 and are the images of our obstructions under a Hurewicz homomorphism.

There exists much good work in the area of usual solitons, but there appears little in the field of compacton solutions. Only a few mathematical tools were employed so far. Recently, Yan [Chaos, Solitons & Fractals 14 (2002) 1151] extended the decomposition method to seek compacton solutions of B(m,n) equation utt=(un)xx+(um)xxxx. In this paper we present a different approach, integral approach, to investigate the compacton solutions of the B(m,n) equation. Not only Yan’s results but also many new compacton solutions of the B(m,n) equation are obtained. Our approach is simple and also suitable for studying compacton solutions of some other equations.  相似文献

This paper shows via a reduced family of examples, the relaxed Newton's method is applied to complex exponential function F(z)=zez and F(z)=zez2, the basin of roots has infinite area. In addition, we examined their computer pictures which are fractals for the relaxed Newton's basin. In fact, computer experiments F(z)=P(z)ez and F(z)=P(z)ez2, indicate this to hold for arbitrary non-constant polynomial P(z).  相似文献

In this paper, we study the unconditional uniqueness of solution for the Cauchy problem of sc(0 ≤ sc < 2) critical nonlinear fourth-order Schrödinger equations itu + Δ2u-εu=λ|u|αu. By employing paraproduct estimates and Strichartz estimates, we prove that unconditional uniqueness of solution holds in Ct(I; sc(Rd)) for d ≥ 11 and min{1-, (8)/(d-4)} ≥ α >(-(d-4)+√4(d-4)2+64)/4.  相似文献
