网络安全产品研究

本文在研究了网络安全的国内外有关情况后对网络安全技术进行了探讨 ,介绍了一种简单而实用的网络安全产品 ,添补了这方面的空白 ,而且本文介绍的产品已经应用到了许多部门 ,为网络安全做出了贡献     

分层教学的Bayes分析

对学校分层教学进行了初步探索 ,提出了分层分班的 Bayes决策 ,介绍了分层分班方法 ,获得了一些结论 ,并完成了对这些结论的证明 ,从理论上论述了分层教学是实施“因材施教”教育原则和素质教育的有效途径 ,给出了应用实例 .     

依靠自己站起来

以前,在西方的一个国家里,有一个经理,他把所有积蓄全部投资在了一个项目上,但由于世界大战的爆发,他破产了.他认为是他把家人害得没有了一切,于是就离开家人,成了一名流浪汉.他心情非常沮丧,对往事难以释怀,不肯为以后的日子打算,甚至想要自杀.一天,他偶然看到了一本名为《自信心》的书,这本书的内容讲的是人在生活、工作上崩溃了以后,如何重新恢复信心的事.他看后心里又有了一丝希望,想找到作者,请作者帮他再度站起来.     

VaR的统计检验

根据VaR的基本原理,对VaR的有效性进行了讨论.关于VaR提出了一个基于二点分布的检验模型,证明了存在一致最优检验,并给出了检验的表达式和拒绝域,同时鉴于金融数据的庞大性,又提出了基于渐近正态分布的检验模型,给出了检验的表达式和拒绝域.     

改进的PROMETHEE方法在招标中的应用研究

针对 PROMETHEE方法的局限性 ,对 PROMETHEE方法进行了改进 ,用效用函数取代了优先函数 ,提出了属性权重的确定方法 .应用改进的 PROMETHEE方法 ,对某装备招标中的 6个方案进行了评价 ,取得了较好的效果     

关于举办2011年中学生数学奥林匹克夏令营活动的启事

从1996年至今,华中师范大学数学与统计学学院已成功举办多届全国中学生数学奥林匹克夏令营活动,培养了大批优秀的数学竞赛选手,他们经过权威名师的指点,既丰富了理论知识,更掌握了实践经验,为走上成功明确了航向,在国内、国际数学竞赛中取得了令人瞩目的成绩.我院已成为全国数学奥林匹克活动

基于IEEE802.16e的退避算法研究与改进

对IEEE802.16e的退避算法进行了研究,分析了该算法的不足,并进行了改进,提出了基站可随冲突MS数目动态调整起始退避窗大小的改进退避算法,给出了两种算法的仿真实验结果,证明了改进的算法可大大提高系统接入的性能,降低了接入冲突的概率.

指出了一些微积分教辅书中一类极值问题的解答错误,分析了产生错误的原因,仔细研究了变量之间的关系,从而给出了正确的答案.     

New identities involving generalized Fibonacci and generalized Lucas numbers

This paper presents two new identities involving generalized Fibonacci and generalized Lucas numbers. One of these identities generalize the two well-known identities of Sury and Marques which are recently developed. Some other interesting identities involving the famous numbers of Fibonacci, Lucas, Pell and Pell-Lucas numbers are also deduced as special cases of the two derived identities. Performing some mathematical operations on the introduced identities yield some other new identities involving generalized Fibonacci and generalized Lucas numbers.     

On a Pair of Identities from Ramanujan's Lost Notebook

Using a pair of two variable series-product identities recorded by Ramanujan in the lost notebook as inspiration, we find some new identities of similar type. Each identity immediately implies an infinite family of Rogers-Ramanujan type identities, some of which are well-known identities from the literature. We also use these identities to derive some general identities for integer partitions.     

q-Pell sequences and two identities of V.A. Lebesgue

We examine a pair of Rogers-Ramanujan type identities of Lebesgue, and give polynomial identities for which the original identities are limiting cases. The polynomial identities turn out to be q-analogs of the Pell sequence. Finally, we provide combinatorial interpretations for the identities.     

Ramanujan-type partial theta identities and conjugate Bailey pairs

Residual identities of Ramanujan-type partial theta identities are tailor-made for producing conjugate Bailey pairs. This is carried out for partial theta identities in Ramanujan??s lost notebook, a number of the partial theta identities of Warnaar, and for some new ones as well.     

The products of three theta functions and the general cubic theta functions

In this paper we establish two theta function identities with four parameters by the theory of theta functions. Using these identities we introduce common generalizations of Hirschhorn-Garvan-Borwein cubic theta functions, and also re-derive the quintuple product identity, one of Ramanujan＇s identities, Winquist＇s identity and many other interesting identities.     

Essential variables and positions in terms

The paper deals with Σ-composition of terms, which allows us to extend the derivation rules in formal deduction of identities. The concepts of essential variables and essential positions of terms with respect to a set of identities form a key step in the simplification of the process of formal deduction. Σ-composition of terms is defined as replacement between Σ-equal terms. This composition induces ΣR-deductively closed sets of identities. In analogy to balanced identities we introduce and investigate Σ-balanced identities for a given set of identities Σ.     

A fast algorithm for proving terminating hypergeometric identities

An algorithm for proving terminating hypergeometric identities, and thus binomial coefficients identities, is presented. It is based upon Gosper's algorithm for indefinite hypergeometric summation. A MAPLE program implementing this algorithm succeeded in proving almost all known identities. Hitherto the proof of such identities was an exclusively human endeavor.     

Tenth order mock theta functions in Ramanujan's lost notebook (IV)

Ramanujan's lost notebook contains many results on mock theta functions. In particular, the lost notebook contains eight identities for tenth order mock theta functions. Previously the author proved the first six of Ramanujan's tenth order mock theta function identities. It is the purpose of this paper to prove the seventh and eighth identities of Ramanujan's tenth order mock theta function identities which are expressed by mock theta functions and a definite integral. L. J. Mordell's transformation formula for the definite integral plays a key role in the proofs of these identities. Also, the properties of modular forms are used for the proofs of theta function identities.

     

On Half-Way AZ-Style Identities

The Ahlswede–Zhang identity is an elegant sharpening of the famous LYM-inequality. Recently, we have found a parametrised identity which implies the AZ identity and characterizes deficiencies of other inequalities in combinatorics. In this paper, we show identities of half-way extraction from AZ-style identities. These identities aim to characterize more clearly terms participating in AZ identities or LYM-style inequalities.
