本文考虑如下问题：怎样的有限群可以作为另一个有限群的全自同构群？我们首先证明，若有限群Ｋ有一个正规Ｓｙｌｏｗｐ－子群使得｜Ｋ：Ｚ（Ｋ）｜ｐ＝ｐ２，那么Ｋ有２阶自同构．利用这个结果，我们证明了，若奇阶群Ｇ具有阶Ｐｓｍ（１≤ｓ≤３），ｐ为｜Ｇ｜的最小素因子，ｐｍ，ｍ无立方因子，则Ｇ不可能作为全自同构群．     

4p阶群及2p2阶群的自同构群

Classifying Arc-Transitive Circulants of Square-Free Order

A circulant is a Cayley graph of a cyclic group. Arc-transitive circulants of square-free order are classified. It is shown that an arc-transitive circulant of square-free order n is one of the following: the lexicographic product , or the deleted lexicographic , where n = bm and is an arc-transitive circulant, or is a normal circulant, that is, Aut has a normal regular cyclic subgroup.

Biprimitive Graphs of Smallest Order

A regular and edge-transitive graph which is not vertex-transitive is said to be semisymmetric. Every semisymmetric graph is necessarily bipartite, with the two parts having equal size and the automorphism group acting transitively on each of these parts. A semisymmetric graph is called biprimitive if its automorphism group acts primitively on each part. In this paper biprimitive graphs of smallest order are determined.

Distance Transitive Generalized Quadrangles of Prime Order

Without using the classification of finite simple groups, we classify the finite generalized quadrangles of prime order admitting a group acting distance transitively on the collinearity graph. Our method uses combinatorial geometry and permutation groups.     

The Augmentation Quotients of the Groups of Order 25, I

In this article we present the nth power Δ ⁿ (G) of the augmentation ideal Δ(G) and describe the structure of Q _n (G) = Δ ⁿ (G)/Δ ⁿ⁺¹(G) for 35 particular groups G of order 2⁵. The structure of Q _n (G) for all the remaining groups of order 2⁵ will be determined in a forthcoming article.
