Let H1, H2 and H3 be infinite dimensional separable complex Hilbert spaces. We denote by M(D,E,F) a 3×3 upper triangular operator matrix acting on H1⊕H2⊕H3 of the form M(D,E,F)=(A D E 0 B F 0 0 C). For given A ∈ B(H1), B ∈ B(H2) and C ∈ B(H3), the sets UD,E,F σp(M(D,E,F)), ∪D,E,F σr(M(D,E,F)), ∪D,E,F σc(M(D,E,F)) and ∪D,E,F σ(M(D,E,F)) are characterized, where D ∈ B(H2,H1), E ∈ B(H3, H1), F ∈ B(H3, H2) and σ(·), σp(·), σr(·),σc(·) denote the spectrum, the point spectrum, the residual spectrum and the continuous spectrum, respectively.  相似文献

When A ∈ B(H) and B ∈ B(K) are given, we denote by Mc an operator acting on the Hilbert space HΘ K of the form Me = ( A0 CB). In this paper, first we give the necessary and sufficient condition for Mc to be an upper semi-Fredholm (lower semi-Fredholm, or Fredholm) operator for some C ∈B(K,H). In addition, let σSF+(A) = {λ ∈ C : A-λI is not an upper semi-Fredholm operator} bc the upper semi-Fredholm spectrum of A ∈ B(H) and let σrsF- (A) = {λ∈ C : A-λI is not a lower semi-Fredholm operator} be the lower semi Fredholm spectrum of A. We show that the passage from σSF±(A) U σSF±(B) to σSF±(Mc) is accomplished by removing certain open subsets of σSF-(A) ∩σSF+ (B) from the former, that is, there is an equality σSF±(A) ∪σSF± (B) = σSF± (Mc) ∪& where L is the union of certain of the holes in σSF±(Mc) which ilappen to be subsets of σSF- (A) A σSF+ (B). Weyl's theorem and Browder's theorem are liable to fail for 2 × 2 operator matrices. In this paper, we also explore how Weyl's theorem, Browder's theorem, a-Weyl's theorem and a-Browder's theorem survive for 2 × 2 upper triangular operator matrices on the Hilbert space.  相似文献

σr(A) ∪ σr( B)= σr (Mc) ∪ W ,
where W is the union of certain of the holes in σr(Mc) which happen to be subsets of σr(A) ∩ σr(B), and σr(A), σr(B), σr(Mc) can be equal to the Browder or essential spectra of A, B, Mc, respectively. This paper studies the symmetry, with respect to the real axis, of the point spectrum of the upper triangular infinite dimensional Hamiltonian operator H. Note that the point spectrum of H can be described as σp(H) = σp(A) ∪σp1(-A*). Using the characteristic of the set σp1(-A*), we divide the point spectrum σp(A) of A into three disjoint parts. Then, a necessary and sufficient condition is obtained under which σp1(-A*) and one part of σp(A) are symmetric with respect to the real axis each other. Based on this result, the symmetry of σp(H) is completely given. Moreover, the above result is applied to thin plates on elastic foundation, plane elasticity problems and harmonic equations.  相似文献

Two operators A, B ∈ B(H) are said to be strongly approximatively similar, denoted by A -sas B, if (i) given ε 〉 0, there exist Ki ∈ B(H) compact with ||Ki|| 〈ε(i = 1,2) such that A+K1 and B + K2 are similar; (ii) σ0(A) = σ0(B) and dim H(λ; A) = dim H(λ; B) for each λ ∈ σ0(A). In this paper, we prove the following result. In this text for $\mathcal{S} = \{\sigma_{\varphi}:\varphi \in \Gamma^{\Gamma}\}$ and $\mathcal{H}=\{\sigma_{\varphi}:\Gamma \xrightarrow{\varphi} \Gamma$ is bijective$\}$ we study proximal relations of transformation semigroups $(\mathcal{S}, X^{\Gamma})$ and $(\mathcal{H}, X^{\Gamma})$. Regarding proximal relation we prove: $$P(\mathcal{S}, X^{\Gamma}) = \{((x_{\alpha})_{\alpha \in \Gamma},(y_{\alpha})_{\alpha \in \Gamma}) \in X^{\Gamma} \times X^{\Gamma} : \exists \beta \in \Gamma (x_{\beta} = y_{\beta})\}$$and $P(\mathcal{H}, X^{\Gamma} ) \subseteq \{((x_{\alpha})_{\alpha \in \Gamma},(y_{\alpha})_{\alpha \in \Gamma}) \in X^{\Gamma} \times X^{\Gamma} : \{\beta \in \Gamma : x_{\beta} = y_{\beta}\}$ is infinite$\}$ $\cup\{($ $x,x) : x \in \mathcal{X}\}$. Moreover, for infinite $\Gamma$, both transformation semigroups $(\mathcal{S}, X^{\Gamma})$ and $(\mathcal{H}, X^{\Gamma})$ are regionally proximal, i.e., $Q(\mathcal{S}, X^{\Gamma}) = Q(\mathcal{H}, X^{\Gamma} ) = X^{\Gamma} \times X^{\Gamma}$, also for sydetically proximal relation we have $L(\mathcal{H}, X^{\Gamma}) = \{((x_{\alpha})_{\alpha \in \Gamma},(y_{\alpha})_{\alpha \in \Gamma}) \in X^{\Gamma} \times X^{\Gamma} : \{\gamma ∈ \Gamma :$ $x_{\gamma} \neq y_{\gamma}\}$ is finite$\}$.  相似文献

The homogeneous approximation property (HAP) of wavelet frames is useful in practice since it means that the number of building blocks involved in a reconstruction of f up to some error is essentially invariant under time-scale shifts. In this paper, we show that every wavelet frame generated with functions satisfying some moderate decay conditions possesses the HAP. Our result improves a recent work of Heil and Kutyniok’s. Moreover, for wavelet frames generated with separable time-scale parameters, i.e., wavelet frames of the form

Let K be a finite field of characteristic ≠ 2 and G the additive group of K × K. Let k_1, k_2 be integers not divisible by the characteristic p of K with(k_1, k_2) = 1. In 2004, Haddad and Helou constructed an additive basis B of G for which the number of representations of g ∈ G as a sum b_1+ b_2(b_1, b_2 ∈ B) is bounded by 18. For g ∈ G and B■G, let σk_1,k_2(B, g)be the number of solutions of g = k_1b_1 + k_2b_2, where b_1, b_2 ∈ B. In this paper, we show that there exists a set B ?
