We prove that the set of vector fields satisfying the C1 stable shadowable property on closed surfaces is characterized as the set of Morse-Smale vector fields. Hence, the vector fields satisfying shadowing property on closed surfaces are C1 dense.  相似文献

In this study, by using the concepts and results on spherical curves in dual Lorentzian space, we give the criterions for ruled surfaces with non‐lightlike ruling to be closed (periodic). We study the SL(2, ?)-infimal lengths of simple closed curves on halftranslation surfaces. Our main result is a characterization of Veech surfaces in terms of these lengths.We also revisit the “no small virtual triangles” theorem of Smillie and Weiss and establish the following dichotomy: the virtual triangle area spectrum of a half-translation surface either has a gap above zero or is dense in a neighborhood of zero.These results make use of the auxiliary polygon associated to a curve on a half-translation surface, as introduced by Tang and Webb.  相似文献

In this work we show that the Wecken theorem for periodic points holds for periodic homeomorphisms on closed surfaces, which therefore completes the periodic point theory in such a special case. Using it we derive the set of homotopy minimal periods for such homeomorphisms. Moreover we show that the results hold for homotopically periodic self-maps of closed surfaces. This let us to re-formulate our results as a statement on properties of elements of finite order in the group of outer automorphisms of the fundamental group of a surface with non-positive Euler characteristic.  相似文献

Résumé Letk be a perfect field of arbitrary characteristic. The main object of this paper is to establish some new objects associated with algebraic surfaces F defined overk which are invariants for birational transformations defined overk. There are two main applications. The first is that if K is any extension ofk of degree 2, then there are infinitely many birationally inequivalent rational surfaces defined overk which all become birationally equivalent to the plane over K. The second application is to a partial classification of the del Pezzo surfaces for birational equivalence overk. For our purposes a del Pezzo surface defined overk is a nonsingular rational surface with a very ample anticanonical system, so the nonsingular cubic surfaces are a special care. As we use the language of schemes, we have to prove some classical results in the new framework, notably some results of Enriques [7] on the classification of rational surfaces. In the last section we produce evidence for the conjecture that if the fieldk is quasialgebraically closed (in the sense of Lang [11]), then a rational surface defined overk always has a point on it defined overk. We shall now describe the contents of our paper in more detail.   相似文献
