In a bounded domain of the space ℝ n +2, we consider variational ultraparabolic inequalities with initial condition. The Cauchy problem for singularly perturbed parabolic equations is considered, and weighted L2-estimates as well as certain decay properties of bounded classical solutions to it are established. These do not depend on the value of the small perturbation parameter, and allow to prove global in time existence of strong solutions to certain boundary-value problems for ultraparabolic equations with unbounded coefficients. Optimal decay estimates are proved for such solutions. All results concerning ultraparabolic equations apply, in particular, to the Kolmogorov equation for diffusion with inertia, to the (linear) Fokker-Planck equation, to the linearized Boltzmann equation, and to some nonlinear integro-differential ultraparabolic equations of the Fokker-Planck type, arising from biophysics. Optimal decay estimates are derived for global in time strong solutions to such equations.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the inverse problem for second‐order semilinear ultraparabolic equation. The equation has unknown function of time variable in its minor coefficient and two unknown functions of time and spacial variables in its right‐hand side. Initial, boundary, and integral type overdetermination conditions are posed. By using the properties of the solutions of the corresponding initial‐boundary value problem and the method of successive approximations, the sufficient conditions of the existence, and the uniqueness of the solution for the inverse problem are obtained on some time interval that depends on the coefficients of the equation.  相似文献

We consider a mixed problem with the Dirichlet boundary conditions and integral conditions for the biharmonic equation. We prove the existence and uniqueness of a generalized solution in the weighted Sobolev space W 22. We show that the problem can be viewed as a generalization of the Dirichlet problem.  相似文献

We consider the nonlinear vector Goursat-Darboux problem of general form with a control on the right-hand side in the differential equation. We consider the case in which its solution necessarily belongs to the class of functions with p-integrable (for some p > 1) mixed and first partial derivatives. In this connection, we use the fact that the first derivatives of such a solution are elements of spaces with a mixed norm; these spaces are much narrower than L p . Sufficient conditions for the preservation of the global solvability of the problem under control perturbations are proved.  相似文献

We study whether V.A. Il’in’s method for proving the uniqueness of the solution of a mixed problem for a hyperbolic equation applies to a problem with transmission conditions in the interior of the interval. We show that the system of eigenfunctions corresponding to this problem is complete in the space L 2(0, l) and is a Riesz basis in this space.  相似文献

We consider the solvability of the Neumann problem for equation (1.1) in exterior domains in both cases: subcritical and critical. We establish the existence of least energy solutions. In the subcritical case the coefficient b(x) is allowed to have a potential well whose steepness is controlled by a parameter λ > 0. We show that least energy solutions exhibit a tendency to concentrate to a solution of a nonlinear problem with mixed boundary value conditions.  相似文献

We study the Cauchy problem for the two-dimensional ultraparabolic model of filtration of a viscous incompressible fluid containing an admixture, with diffusion of the admixture in a porous medium taken into account. The porous medium consists of the fibers directed along some vector field n . We prove that if the nonlinearity in the equations of the model and the geometric structure of fibers satisfy some additional “genuine nonlinearity” condition then the Cauchy problem with bounded initial data has at least one entropy solution and the fast oscillating regimes possible in the initial data are promptly suppressed in the entropy solutions. The proofs base on the introduction and systematic study of the kinetic equation associated with the problem as well as on application of the modification of Tartar H-measures which was proposed by Panov.  相似文献

We consider a Helmholtz equation in a number of Lipschitz domains in n ≥ 2 dimensions, on the boundaries of which Dirichlet, Neumann and transmission conditions are imposed. For this problem an equivalent system of boundary integral equations is derived which directly yields the Cauchy data of the solutions. The operator of this system is proved to be injective and strongly elliptic, hence it is also bijective and the original problem has a unique solution. For two examples (a mixed Dirichlet and transmission problem and the transmission problem for four quadrants in the plane) the boundary integral operators and the treatment of the compatibility conditions are described.  相似文献

The spectral method is applied to solve the mixed initial boundary-value problem for a parabolic equation with nonhomogeneous boundary conditions, one of which is nonlocal. We prove existence and uniqueness of the generalized solution of this problem in the Sobolev class W 2 1,0 and represent it as a biorthogonal series. We study a second-order quasilinear ultraparabolic equation whose matrix of the coefficients of the second derivatives is nonnegative, depends on the time and spatial variables, and can change rank in the case when it is diagonal and the coefficients of the first derivatives can be discontinuous. We prove that if the equation is a priori known to enjoy the maximum principle and satisfies the additional “genuine nonlinearity” condition then the Cauchy problem with arbitrary bounded initial data has at least one entropy solution and every uniformly bounded set of entropy solutions is relatively compact in L loc 1 . The proofs are based on introduction and systematic study of the kinetic formulation of the equation in question and application of the modification of the Tartar H-measures proposed by E. Yu. We study the solvability of the Tricomi problem for the Lavrent’ev-Bitsadze equation with mixed boundary conditions in the elliptic part of the domain. On the type change line of the equation, the solution gradient is subjected to a condition that is usually referred to as the generalized Frankl transmission condition. We show that the inhomogeneous Tricomi problem either has a unique solution or is conditionally solvable and the homogeneous problem has only the trivial solution. We write out an integral representation of the solution of this problem.  相似文献

In this paper we prove the possibility of the use of the penalty method for grid matching in mixed finite element methods. We consider the Hermann-Johnson scheme for biharmonic equation. The main idea is to construct a perturbed problem with two parameters which play roles of penalties. The perturbed problem is built by the replacement of essential conditions on the interface in the mixed variational statement with natural conditions that contain parameters. The perturbed problem is discretized by the finite element method. We estimate the norm of the difference between a solution of the discrete perturbed problem and a solution of the initial problem; the obtained estimates depend on the step and the penalties. We give recommendations for the choice of penalties depending on the step.  相似文献
