In this paper we investigate the formation of singularities of hyperbolic systems. Employing the method of parametric coordinates and the existence of the solution of the blow-up system, we prove that the blow-up of classic solutions is due to the envelope of characteristics of the same family, analyze the geometric properties of the envelope of characteristics and estimate the blowup rates of the solution precisely.  相似文献

We apply Nevanlinna theory of the value distribution of meromorphic functions to study the properties of Nevanlinna counting function and proximity function of meromorphic solutions of a type of systems of complex difference equations. Our results can give estimates on the proximity function and the counting function of solutions of systems of difference equations. This implies that solutions have a relatively large number of poles. It extend some result concerning difference equations to the systems of difference equations.  相似文献

Minimization of the weighted nonlinear sum of squares of differences may be converted to the minimization of sum of squares. The Gauss-Newton method is recalled and the length of the step of the steepest descent method is determined by substituting the steepest descent direction in the Gauss-Newton formula. In this paper, the geometrical design for the blade's surface in an impeller or for the profile of an aircraft, is modeled from the mathematical point of view by a boundary shape control problem for the Navier-Stokes equations. The objective function is the sum of a global dissipative function and the power of the fluid. The control variables are the geometry of the boundary and the state equations are the Navier-Stokes equations. The Euler-Lagrange equations of the optimal control problem are derived, which are an elliptic boundary value system of fourth order, coupled with the Navier-Stokes equations. The authors also prove the existence of the solution of the optimal control problem, the existence of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with mixed boundary conditions, the weak continuity of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with respect to the geometry shape of the blade's surface and the existence of solutions of the equations for the Gateaux derivative of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with respect to the geometry of the boundary.  相似文献

In this paper,we introduce two new iterative algorithms for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a general equilibrium problem and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for an inverse-strongly monotone operator and the set of common fixed points of two infinite families of relatively nonexpansive mappings or the set of common fixed points of an infinite family of relatively quasi-nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces.Then we study the weak convergence of the two iterative sequences.Our results improve and extend the results announced by many others.  相似文献

A right module $M$ over an associative ring $R$ with unity is a $QTAG$-module if every finitely generated submodule of any homomorphic image of $M$ is a direct sum of uniserial modules. This article considers the closure of $h$-pure-$S$-high submodules of $QTAG$-modules. Here, we determine all submodules $S$ of a $QTAG$-module $M$ such that each closure of $h$-pure-$S$-high submodule of $M$ is $h$-pure-$\overline{S}$-high in $\overline{M}$. A few results of this theme give a comparison of some elementary properties of $h$-pure-$S$-high and $S$-high submodules.  相似文献

We discuss the p-harmonicity of the linear combination of p-harmonic functions in the Euclidean space and on a tree. If p≠2, the p-harmonicity is non-linear, i.e., the linear combination of p-harmonic functions need not be p-harmonic. In spite of this non-linear nature, we find some p-harmonic functions whose linear combinations become p-harmonic.  相似文献

On h-convexity     
We introduce a class of h-convex functions which generalize convex, s-convex, Godunova-Levin functions and P-functions. Namely, the h-convex function is defined as a non-negative function which satisfies f(αx+(1−α)y)?h(α)f(x)+h(1−α)f(y), where h is a non-negative function, α∈(0,1) and x,yJ. A class of hyperelliptic integrals are expressed through hypergeometric functions, like those of Gauss, Lauricella and Appell, namely multiple power series. Whenever they can on their own be reduced to elliptic integrals through an algebraic transformation, we obtain a two-fold representation of the same mathematical object, and then several completely new π determinations through the above special functions and/or Euler integrals. All our π formulae have been successfully tested by means of convenient Mathematica®'s packages and enter in a wide historical/sound context of π-formulae quite far from being exhausted. Due to their structure, the formulae's practical value does not lie in computing π, but in allowing, through π, a benchmark for computing the involved special functions, particularly those less elementary.

A new exact penalty function method, called the l1 exact exponential penalty function method, is introduced. In this approach, the so-called the exponential penalized optimization problem with the l1 exact exponential penalty function is associated with the original optimization problem with both inequality and equality constraints. The l1 exact exponential penalty function method is used to solve nonconvex mathematical programming problems with r-invex functions (with respect to the same function η). The equivalence between sets of optimal solutions of the original mathematical programming problem and of its associated exponential penalized optimization problem is established under suitable r-invexity assumption. Also lower bounds on the penalty parameter are given, for which above these values, this result is true.  相似文献
