We are concerned with the existence of quasi-periodic solutions for the follow- ing equation x″ F_x(x,t)x′ ω~2x φ(x,t)=0, where F and φare smooth functions and 2π-periodic in t,ω>0 is a constant.Under some assumptions on the parities of F and φ,we show that the Dancer's function,which is used to study the existence of periodic solutions,also plays a role for the existence of quasi-periodic solutions and the Lagrangian stability (i.e.all solutions are bounded).  相似文献

Asymptotic behaviour of solutions is studied for some second order equations including the model case x(t) + γ x˙(t) + ■Φ(x(t)) = h(t) with γ > 0 and h ∈ L 1(0,+∞;H),Φ being continuouly differentiable with locally Lipschitz continuous gradient and bounded from below.In particular when Φ is convex,all solutions tend to minimize the potential Φ as time tends to infinity and the existence of one bounded trajectory implies the weak convergence of all solutions to equilibrium points.  相似文献

We consider the solution of the good Boussinesq equation Utt -Uxx + Uxxxx = (U2)xx, -∞ 〈 x 〈 ∞, t ≥ 0, with periodic initial value U(x, 0) = ε(μ + φ(x)), Ut(x, 0) = εψ(x), -∞ 〈 x 〈 ∞, where μ = 0, φ(x) and ψ(x) are 2π-periodic functions with 0-average value in [0, 2π], and ε is small. A two parameter Bcklund transformation is found and provide infinite conservation laws for the good Boussinesq equation. The periodic solution is then shown to be uniformly bounded for all small ε, and the H1-norm is uniformly bounded and thus guarantees the global existence. In the case when the initial data is in the simplest form φ(x) = μ+a sin kx, ψ(x) = b cos kx, an approximation to the solution containing two terms is constructed via the method of multiple scales. By using the energy method, we show that for any given number T 〉 0, the difference between the true solution u(x, t; ε) and the N-th partial sum of the asymptotic series is bounded by εN+1 multiplied by a constant depending on T and N, for all -∞ 〈 x 〈 ∞, 0 ≤ |ε|t ≤ T and 0 ≤ |ε|≤ε0.  相似文献

We study the existence of positive solutions to a two-order semilinear elliptic problem with Dirichlet boundary condition (p_λ){-div(c(x)▽u=λf(u) in Ω,u=0 on Ω,where ΩR~n;n≥2 is a smooth bounded domain;f is a positive,increasing and convex source term and c(x) is a smooth bounded positive function on Ω.We also prove the existence of critical value and claim the uniqueness of extremal solutions.  相似文献

We study the blow-up and/or global existence of the following p-Laplacian evolution equation with variable source power ut(x,t)=div(|?u|~(p-2)?u)+u~(q(x)) in?×(0,T),where ? is either a bounded domain or the whole space R~N,and q(x) is a positive and continuous function defined in ? with 0q_-=inf q(x)=q(x)=sup q(x)=q_+∞.It is demonstrated that the equation with variable source power has much richer dynamics with interesting phenomena which depends on the interplay of q(x) and the structure of spatial domain ?,compared with the case of constant source power.For the case that ? is a bounded domain,the exponent p-1 plays a crucial role.If q_+p-1,there exist blow-up solutions,while if q_+p-1,all the solutions are global.If q_-p-1,there exist global solutions,while for given q_-p-1q_+,there exist some function q(x) and ? such that all nontrivial solutions will blow up,which is called the Fujita phenomenon.For the case ?=R~N,the Fujita phenomenon occurs if 1q_-=q_+=p-1+p/N,while if q_-p-1+p/N,there exist global solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the unboundedness of solutions for the asymmetric equation x00+ax+?bx?+?(x)ψ(x0)+f(x)+g(x0)=p(t), where x+ = max{x, 0}, x? = max{?x, 0}, a and b are two different positive constants, f (x) is locally Lipschitz continuous and bounded,?(x), ψ(x), g(x) and p(t) are continuous functions, p(t) is a 2π-periodic function. In this paper, the authors are concerned with the forced isochronous oscillators with a repulsive singularity and a bounded nonlinearity $$ x' + V'(x) + g(x) = e(t,x,x'), $$ where the assumptions on $V$, $g$ and $e$ are regular, described precisely in the introduction. Using a variant of Moser's twist theorem of invariant curves, the authors show the existence of quasi-periodic solutions and boundedness of all solutions. We deal with the existence of quasi-periodic solutions of forced isochronous oscillators with a repulsive singularity, the nonlinearity is a bounded perturbation. Using a variant of Moser's twist theorem of invariant curves, due to Ortega [R. Ortega, Boundedness in a piecewise linear oscillator and a variant of the small twist theorem, Proc. London Math. We establish the global existence and uniqueness of the solution u ( x ,  t ; ɛ), and prove its boundedness in x ∈ R and t >0 for all sufficiently small ɛ>0. Furthermore, we show that the error between the solution u ( x ,  t ; ɛ) and the leading term approximation obtained by the multiple scale method is of the order ɛ3 uniformly for x ∈ R and 0≤ t ≤ T /ɛ2, as long as ɛ is sufficiently small, T being an arbitrary positive number.  相似文献

Game theory is extensively used to study strategy-making and actions of play- ers. The authors proposed an analysis method for study the evolutionary outcome and behaviors of players with preference in iterated prisoner's dilemma. In this article, a preference parameter k was introduced in the payoff matrix, wherein the value of k denotes the player's degree of egoism and altruism (preference). Then, a game-theoretic dynamical model was formulated using Birth-and-Death process. The authors studied how preference influences the evolutionary equilibrium and behaviors of players. The authors get the general results: egoism leads to defection, and altruism can make players build trust and maintain cooperation, and so, the hope of the Pareto optimal solution. In the end, the simulation experiments proved the efficiency of the method.  相似文献

A generalized Rosenthal's inequality for Banach-space-valued martingales is proved, which extends the corresponding results in the previous literatures and characterizes the p-uniform smoothness and q-uniform convexity of the underlying Banach space. The aim of this paper is to solve numerically the inverse problem of reconstructing small amplitude perturbations in the magnetic permeability of a dielectric material from partial or total dynamic boundary measurements. Our numerical algorithm is based on the resolution of the time-dependent Maxwell equations, an exact controllability method and Fourier inversion for localizing the perturbations. Two-dimensional numerical experiments illustrate the performance of the reconstruction method for different configurations even in the case of limited-view data.  相似文献
