In this note we introduce and investigate the concepts of dual entwining structures and dual entwined modules. This generalizes the concepts of dual Doi–Koppinen structures and dual Doi–Koppinen modules introduced (in the infinite case over rings) by the author in his dissertation.

The ‘constrained inverse’ was introduced by Bott and Duffin in 1953. Since then various generalizations have arisen. In this paper, we propose a generalization of the Bott–Duffin inverse. Applications of the projection methods for solving sparse linear systems, the truncated methods for solving least squares problems, and solvers for generalized saddle point problems are also presented. The relationships with other generalized Bott–Duffin inverses are explored. The results indicate that the generalized Bott–Duffin inverse may be a useful tool in matrix computations. Power system transient stability is one of the most challenging technical areas in electric power industry. Thyristor-controlled series compensation (TCSC) is expected to improve transient stability and damp power oscillations. TCSC control in power system transients is a nonlinear control problem. This paper presents a T–S-model-based fuzzy control scheme and a systematic design method for the TCSC fuzzy controller. The nonlinear power system containing TCSC is modelled as a fuzzy “blending” of a set of locally linearized models. A linear optimal control is designed for each local linear model. Different control requirements at different stages during power system transients can be considered in deriving the linear control rules. The resulting fuzzy controller is then a fuzzy “blending” of these linear controllers. Quadratic stability of the overall nonlinear controlled system can be checked and ensured using H∞ control theory. Digital simulation with NETOMAC software has verified that the fuzzy control scheme can improve power system transient stability and damp power swings very quickly. 相似文献

The design of a rule-based controller for a class of master-slave chaos synchronization is presented in this paper. In traditional fuzzy logic control (FLC) design, it takes a long time to obtain the membership functions and rule base by trial-and-error tuning. To cope with this problem, we directly construct the fuzzy rules subject to a common Lyapunov function such that the master–slave chaos systems satisfy stability in the Lyapunov sense. Unlike conventional approaches, the resulting control law has less maximum magnitude of the instantaneous control command and it can reduce the actuator saturation phenomenon in real physic system. Two examples of Duffing–Holmes system and Lorenz system are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller. 相似文献

In this paper, the meshless local Petrov–Galerkin approximation is proposed to solve the 2‐D nonlinear Klein–Gordon equation. We used the moving Kriging interpolation instead of the MLS approximation to construct the meshless local Petrov–Galerkin shape functions. These shape functions possess the Kronecker delta function property. The Heaviside step function is used as a test function over the local sub‐domains. Here, no mesh is needed neither for integration of the local weak form nor for construction of the shape functions. So the present method is a truly meshless method. We employ a time‐stepping method to deal with the time derivative and a predictor–corrector scheme to eliminate the nonlinearity. Several examples are performed and compared with analytical solutions and with the results reported in the extant literature to illustrate the accuracy and efficiency of the presented method. In previous article [M. Zhan, Phase-lock equations and its connections to Ginzburg–Landau equations of superconductivity, J. Nonlinear Anal. 42 (2000) 1063–1075], we introduced a system of equations (phase-lock equations) to model the superconductivity phenomena. We investigated its connection to Ginzburg–Landau equations and proved the existence and uniqueness of both weak and strong solutions. In this article, we study the steady-state problem associated with the phase-lock equations. We prove that the steady-state problem has multiple solutions and show that the solution set enjoys some structural properties as proved by Foias and Teman for the Navier–Stokes equations in [C. Foias, R. Teman, Structure of the set of stationary solutions of the Navier–Stokes equations, Commun. Pure Appl. Math. XXX (1977) 149–164]. 相似文献

We show that if a finitely presented discrete group acts amenably on the boundary of a metric compactification of itself, then the Gromov–Lawson–Rosenberg conjecture holds for . Thus, if M is a compact aspherical Spin manifold with fundamental group , then M does not admit a Riemannian metric with positive scalar curvature. The class of groups having such a property includes hyperbolic groups and amenable groups and is closed under semidirect product. 相似文献

We study PN and APN functions over the integers modulo n. We give some construction techniques based on Costas arrays, which allow us to construct APN permutations on where p is a prime. In this work, we study the integrability aspects of the Schamel–Korteweg–de Vries equation that play an important role in studying the effect of electron trapping on the nonlinear interaction of ion‐acoustic waves by including a quasi‐potential. Lie symmetry analysis together with the simplest equation method and Kudryashov method is used to obtain exact traveling wave solutions for this equation. In addition, conservation laws are constructed using two different techniques, namely, the multiplier method and the new conservation theorem. Using the conservation laws and symmetries of the underlying equation, double reduction and exact solution were also constructed. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献
