According to the B-spline theory and Boehm algorithm, this paper presents several necessary and sufficient G1 continuity conditions between two adjacent B-spline surfaces. In order to meet the need of application, a kind of sufficient conditions of G1 continuity are developed, and a kind of sufficient conditions of G1 continuity among N(N > 2) patch B-spline surfaces meeting at a common corner are given at the end.  相似文献

In order to construct closed surfaces with continuous unit normal, we introduce a news pline space on an arbitrary closed mesh of three-sided faces. Our approach generalizes an idea of Goodman and is based on the concept of ‘Geometric continuity‘ for piecewise polynomial parametrizations. The functions in the spline space restricted to the faces are cubic triangular polynomials. A basis of the spline space is constructed of positive functions which sum to 1. It is also shown that the space is suitable for interpolating data at the midpoints of the faces。  相似文献

This paper proposes and applies a method to sort two-dimensional control points of triangular Bezier surfaces in a row vector. Using the property of bivariate Jacobi basis functions, it further presents two algorithms for multi-degree reduction of triangular Bezier surfaces with constraints, providing explicit degree-reduced surfaces. The first algorithm can obtain the explicit representation of the optimal degree-reduced surfaces and the approximating error in both boundary curve constraints and corner constraints. But it has to solve the inversion of a matrix whose degree is related with the original surface. The second algorithm entails no matrix inversion to bring about computational instability, gives stable degree-reduced surfaces quickly, and presents the error bound. In the end, the paper proves the efficiency of the two algorithms through examples and error analysis.  相似文献

This paper considers an SEIS epidemic model with infectious force in the latent period and a general population-size dependent contact rate. A threshold parameter R is identified. If R≤1, the disease-free equilibrium O is globally stable. If R〉1, there is a unique endemic equilibrium and O is unstable. For two important special cases of bilinear and standard incidence ,sufficient conditions for the global stability of this endemic equilibrium are given. The same qualitative results are obtained provided the threshold is more than unity for the corresponding SEIS model with no infectious force in the latent period. We consider a generalised complex Monge-Amp6re equation on a compact Kahler manifold and treat it using the method of continuity. For complex surfaces we prove an existence result. We also prove that (for three-folds and a related real PDE in a ball in R3) as long as the Hessian is bounded below by a pre-determined constant (whilst moving along the method of continuity path), a smooth solution exists. Finally, we prove existence for another real PDE in a 3-ball, which is a local real version of a conjecture of X. X. Chen.  相似文献

Geometric continuity is a very important issue in CAGD and has gained more attention. In this paper we present the new concept of polynomial preserving Gn continuity (PPGn) between rectangular and triangular Bézier surfaces. Necessary and sufficient conditions of PPGn are established explicitly. A simple and useful sufficient condition is also presented. The results can be used more effectively in connecting surfaces and composing rectangular and triangular patches.  相似文献

In computer aided geometric design (CAGD), Bézier-like bases receive more and more considerations as new modeling tools in recent years. But those existing Bézier-like bases are all defined over the rectangular domain. In this paper, we extend the algebraic trigonometric Bézier-like basis of order 4 to the triangular domain. The new basis functions defined over the triangular domain are proved to fulfill non-negativity, partition of unity, symmetry, boundary representation, linear independence and so on. We also prove some properties of the corresponding Bézier-like surfaces. Finally, some applications of the proposed basis are shown.  相似文献

In this paper, we first construct a new kind of basis functions by a recursive approach. Based on these basis functions, we define the Bézier-like curve and rectangular Bézier-like surface. Then we extend the new basis functions to the triangular domain, and define the Bernstein-Bézier-like surface over the triangular domain. The new curve and surfaces have most properties of the corresponding classical Bézier curve and surfaces. Moreover, the shape parameter can adjust the shape of the new curve and surfaces without changing the control points. Along with the increase of the shape parameter, the new curve and surfaces approach the control polygon or control net. In addition, the evaluation algorithm for the new curve and triangular surface are provided.  相似文献

The hp-version of the finite element method based on a triangular p-element is applied to free vibration of the orthotropic triangular and rectangular plates. The element's hierarchical shape functions, expressed in terms of shifted Legendre orthogonal polynomials, is developed for orthotropic plate analysis by taking into account shear deformation, rotary inertia, and other kinematics effects. Numerical results of frequency calculations are found for the free vibration of the orthotropic triangular and rectangular plates with the effect of the fiber orientation and plate boundary conditions.
