On non-normal arc-transitive 4-valent dihedrants

Let X be a connected non-normal 4-valent arc-transitive Cayley graph on a dihedral group Dn such that X is bipartite, with the two bipartition sets being the two orbits of the cyclic subgroup within Dn. It is shown that X is isomorphic either to the lexicographic product Cn[2K1] with n 〉 4 even, or to one of the five sporadic graphs on 10, 14, 26, 28 and 30 vertices, respectively.     

THE HAUSDORFF CENTRED MEASURE OF THE SYMMETRY CANTOR SETS

Let 0<λ≤1/3,K(λ) be the attractor of an iterated function system {ψ1,ψ2} on the tine, whereλx, ψ2(x) = 1-λ+λx, x6 [0,1]. We call K(λ) the symmetry Cantor sets. In this paper, we obtained the exact Hausdorff Centred measure of K (A).

Let 0＜λ≤1/3,K (λ) be the attractor of an iterated function system { ψ1,ψ2 } on the line, where ψ1 (x ) =λx, ψ2(x)=1-λ+λx, x∈ [0,1]. We call K (λ) the symmetry Cantor sets. In this paper, we obtained the exact Hausdorff Centred measure of K (λ).     

THE NEAR DIFFERENCE SETS OF TYPE 2 WITH PARAMETERS (9λ+6, 3λ+1, λ)

It is proved in this paper that the number of the near difference sets of type 2 with parameters ( 9λ +6, 3λ+1, λ) is finite by studying the relationship between the cyclic sequence and its normai subsequences. It is determined accordingly that there exists a ( 9λ + 6, 3λ + 1, λ) -near difference set of type 2 if and only if λ. = 1 or 2. Together with the results of [1,2,3,4] we can conclude that there are only 6 groups of parameters corresponding to the near difference sets of type 2 if k ≤ 3λ 4+2 .     

Quasisymmetric geometry of the Julia sets of McMullen maps Dedicated to the Memory of Professor Lei Tan

We study the quasisymmetric geometry of the Julia sets of McMullen maps f_λ(z) = z~m+ λ/z~?,where λ∈ C \ {0} and ? and m are positive integers satisfying 1/? + 1/m 1. If the free critical points of f_λ are escaped to the infinity, we prove that the Julia set J_λ of f_λ is quasisymmetrically equivalent to either a standard Cantor set, a standard Cantor set of circles or a round Sierpiński carpet(which is also standard in some sense).If the free critical points are not escaped, we give a sufficient condition on λ such that J_λ is a Sierpiński carpet and prove that most of them are quasisymmetrically equivalent to some round carpets. In particular, there exist infinitely renormalizable rational maps whose Julia sets are quasisymmetrically equivalent to the round carpets.     

扩散 Cantor 集的最小Hausdorff 测度

In this paper, we construct a scattered Cantor set having the value 1/2 of log2/log3- dimensional Hausdorff measure. Combining a theorem of Lee and Baek, we can see the value 21 is the minimal Hausdorff measure of the scattered Cantor sets, and our result solves a conjecture of Lee and Baek.

Intersections of homogeneous Cantor sets with their translations

We pursue the study on homogeneous Cantor sets with their translations. We get the fractal structure of intersection I（t）, and find that the Hausdorff measure of these sets forms a discrete spectrum whose non-zero values come only from shifting numbers with the coding of t. Concretely, a very brief calculation formula of the measure with the coding of t is given.     

A Generalization on the Difference Between an Integer and Its Inverse Modulo Q

The main purpose of this paper is to use the properties of the Gauss sums, primitive characters and the mean value of Dirichlet L-functions to study the hybrid mean value of the error term E（n, l, c, q） and the hyper-Kloosterman sums K（h,n＋1,q）, the asymptotic property of the mean square value ∑^p c=1 E^2（n, 1, c, p）, and give two interesting mean value formulae.

Hausdorff dimension of homogeneous perfect sets

Summary We introduce the notion of homogeneous perfect sets as a generalization of Cantor type sets and determine their exact dimension based on the length of their fundamental intervals and the gaps between them. Some earlier results regarding the dimension of Cantor type sets are shown to be special cases of our main theorem.     

齐次完全集的拟对称极小性

作为Cantor型集的推广,文志英和吴军引入了齐次完全集的概念,并基于齐次完全集的基本区间的长度以及基本区间之间的间隔的长度,得到了齐次完全集的Hausdorff维数.本文研究齐次完全集的拟对称极小性,证明在某些条件下Hausdorff维数为1的齐次完全集是1维拟对称极小的.     

Packing dimensions of homogeneous perfect sets

In [10], the notion of homogeneous perfect sets as a generalization of Cantor type sets is introduced and their Hausdorff and lower box-counting dimensions are studied. In this paper, we determine their exact packing and upper box-counting dimensions based on the length of their fundamental intervals and the gaps between them. Some known results concerning the dimensions of Cantor type sets are generalized. This work was supported by NSFC (10571138).     

Sum of Cantor sets: Self-similarity and measure

In this note it is shown that the sum of two homogeneous Cantor sets is often a uniformly contracting self-similar set and it is given a sufficient condition for such a set to be of Lebesgue measure zero (in fact, of Hausdorff dimension less than one and positive Hausdorff measure at this dimension).
